Those 2 maps' mechanics were ahead of its time, with the recent [Forging Steel Strike Mission](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Strike_Mission:_Forging_Steel), adopting the mechanics could even mean 10 players [Charr Recruits](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Charr) guiding the [tank](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/TT6-B_Devourer) (like right now), while 10 players ([stone Summit Dwarves](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Stone_Summit)) protecting & repairing the [Ancient Forgeman weapon](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ancient_Forgeman)

- You'd have PvEvP elements

- Role-play elements (your character as a Charr? [Tengu](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tengu)?)

- Dynamic game-play results for both sides

- Re-playable by any level of player (new/veterans)

- Encourages group play and team work (guilds)

- Mechanics similar to [Fort Aspenwood](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Fort_Aspenwood) with timer

- Design can be applied to any future missions once setup

- It'd be quite something with the current engine! :)

I've always been a big fan of Fort Aspenwood. But, seeing it returned in GW2 would require many changes that would not make it the same. However, going back to pvp/PvE formats like FA and JQ that is about more then simple king of the hill zergfests would be very much welcome. So yes to something similar that would work well in GW2.
