Well both my friend and I were able to finally finish this event. Thanks everyone who put up the good fight and posted responses in this thread. I still am very perplexed why they chose to go the ninja patch route with all of the broken events for Visions. Its like they wanted no public record of it even happening. Seems very sneaky and suspicious to me. This is not "better communication" like was promised to us after the layoff. You know how they say your not an alcoholic unless you attend the meetings? Maybe it works the same for bugs. You never had a bug unless you admit you had it. Take care everyone see you next bug!

I believe its because anyone who can bring back your lost loved ones will have a following. Even if they are only raised to join his army. People grieving for someone who has past sometimes will do anything to speak to them again. Even if its following someone as ridiculous Jalawa Poko. :wink:

I see no reason to complete them. If they happen to release a legendary item I that I like. Then I may think about going back and covering what I didn't get through normal play. I could care less about emotes... I would still like some of my face to grind off on other things.

Key to winning GW2 is blocking anyone who displays aggressive behavior towards anyone else. Then you will not have a chance for it to be directed at you. **PvP** - Takes time to get good at. But it will make you a better overall player. Best to study the role you need to perform for your team for the class your playing. Doing so will help with stopping the negative talk during a match. Focus on yourself and ways you can get better not your team mates. You can control them nor should you try. Go in knowing your going to lose more at the start. Once you get better the wins will pile up. **Raids** - Hard to get into. Not many good training groups out there and watching videos on the internet does not teach you much outside of the bosses mechanics. People in this mode want you to know rotations for maximizing DPS and will let you know if your under performing. Most raiders dislike anyone who causes the group to have to /gg if you are looking to get into this game mode its best to start your own static team of like minded and skilled people and learn it together. **WvW** - Most laid back of the three. Hardest part here is finding a group/server who is active during the time you are able to play. Unless you are a roamer or like small Havoc Squad groups. If you play during your servers off hours it can be pretty boring because of the lack of content. Getting into a Zerg is a must if you want to gain levels fast and keep participation up easily. Commanders typically want you to be either in the Discord or Teamspeak so you can hear voice commands. You never need to talk jut listen. As far as obtaining legendary items the fastest it really depends on you and your commitment and what you like to do. If you like pvp then go for it. Just know that none of this is going to be obtainable overnight. It is a slow process and only really worth it if you plan to play for the foreseeable future. If you are still on the fence about this game then I wouldn't even try. As for builds check [metabttle ](https://metabattle.com/wiki/MetaBattle_Wiki)and [gods of pvp](https://www.godsofpvp.net/). You don't have to use their cookiecutter build but at least it gives you something that you can tailor to your play style.

This word will change your life "BLOCK". Anyone starts spouting off to anyone or if they just has a negative tone block them. It is just a matter of time before they direct it at you. I used to think it was toxic now it is pretty silent. My que times are about 30 seconds to a minute longer but well worth the wait.

I personally not seen any Dev's "flying around" in map but others in the map claim to have seen it. Tomorrows patch notes can't come soon enough.

Like @"Strider Pj.2193" said you need to know if you are NA or EU and what time is your optimal time to play. While its great to be with a guild that will have you and meets your requirement as a Host Server but they may never run when you are able to play. But as the old adage goes Host today link tomorrow. Its best to find a guild that meets your schedule.

I got into sPvP this year because of the Legendary Amulet [Transcendence](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Transcendence). I had the worst attitude going in because I was angry at the fact I had to PvP to get the amulet. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed the game mode and now have stayed long past getting my amulet. I started out at rank 1 and now I'm 52. I quickly became a G3 to P1 player but mostly G3. Sure I get tilted here and there mostly because of AFKers but most times I can just focus on getting better myself. You can only control yourself. One thing I do suggest is block anyone that has an overly negative attitude towards anyone. I figure its just a matter of time before they turn their aggressiveness towards you. But to answer the original question. Yes you can if you go into it with an open mind and know that you will lose and it is okay to do so. Once you get better the wins will come.

Happy for everyone who found a workable instance. Meanwhile I'll just sit here and pray to RNGesus that I get one soon. During the hours that I typically play, Istan it is fairly empty. So I don't see myself getting it this way unless I get lucky. I mentioned earlier in this thread that I started working on Aurora since I had nothing else to do on vision but the caravan. Well today I will finish Aurora... So I was able to craft a different legendary accessory before this was fixed and I had not worked on any of it previously. So it must be some harder than legendary code they are working with because they still cant craft an update. My eyes are anxiously awaiting the 17th patch notes.

I've been in Vabbi pretty regularly recently getting Funerary Incense from the hearts everyday and in the past 2 weeks I've completed it twice and It didn't feel organized. But having someone explain to the map what needs to be done and who to kill first seems to help it be successful. It absolutely baffles me how people don't understand what CC actually is.

I still have not obtained my vision yet. But I have got two responses from the support team from two different reps. With that said, we can confirm that the issue you are currently experiencing with the Corpse Caravan is currently a known issue that is being investigate at this time. At least in the 2nd response there is some substance there and not a canned response. Even though we may not get a fix soon at least we know they are working on it to some degree. Trying to stay positive while expecting the worst. Time to put on a tin foil hat and guess that this sudden surge of players completing the event is the dev team working on it? One can only hope.
