Normally, these problems should always be in focus of a company as these are guests who consume resources without paying rent and in doing so they usually even make potential paying customers unhappy. From a purely logical point of view, there must be a reason for this permanent problem, and no, ignorance won't be the reason. No, because then it becomes which ever team has the more bots loses. If the population is that scarce that killing off the bot population will kill the mode, then the mode was never alive to begin with and the bots are just inflating the economy.

It's mostly in PvP. Every match there's at least 1-2 afkers, and the rest are bots (generic names, no guild tag, same pathing for all of them, etc.). Seriously, an Anet person could literally look at any of my matches in the past 3 days and they'd have at least 20 characters to ban without needing a 2nd review. It's absurd that such a game mode can be taken over and they do it because of how little Anet cares or does anything. At least with WvW and PvE, you get kicked from the game if you afk for too long, but matches don't last long enough in PvP to trigger that timer -- it used to be 60 seconds or something really short, but now players can just afk all match without penalty. > @"mercury ranique.2170" said: > A good example is when you see someone breaking the rules. That's a terrible analogy as other companies explicitly tell them that they were banned for x or y (e.g. Blizzard and Overwatch) and do just fine.

And EVERY other server can attest to that. I'm in a JQ Server as well and they were complaining about having to fight them last week. FC asked to not push them up to T1 so they didn't have to fight them (which I don't think they expected to drop to T2... lol), and so forth. Face it, when your server is nothing but SMC-humping kittens who love to spawn camp and play ONLY on EBG, no server wants to fight you.

  7. Get an episode of the Office running when you do Guild Seige crafting. It's the only way to stay sane since Anet is very out of touch with game mechanics.
  8. Give us stronghold (even a new map for it). Capture the flag would just mean Mesmers and Thieves everywhere.

  11. If it's an AT, I'll try, but if we're down by 300+ points, there's no point to keep trying. Just let them run wrack up the points so we can move on.
  12. You think that's bad mechanics? How in the world is someone able to screw over 4 other people in a Tournament when they hit the "Decline" button? That's completely awful game design and mechanics there.

TC fought against them last week and said "fuck it" and left EBG all to Maguuma and they started freaking out because they didn't want to go up (turns out T3ing EVERYTHING on EBG gives a lot of PPT).
  14. Tarnished Coast is generally the "go-to" server for Pugs. Hell, the pugs generally carry the server. There are frequently Pugmanders in the server, a decent number that can herd them up in EBG/etc. into voice comms or just be good with typemanding if needed.
