It's something the game is not made for

There's no balance in PvE and WvW due to high stats, food and other shit.

In SPvP also there's no balance ( but still better than WvW ).

Gw2 is not meant for 1v1, this's why spending resources in order to make duels or 1v1 modalities is not worth it.

The best you can do is to create a SPvP map and do your duels there.

It's not that hard to make the money for the griffon.

Just by daily login it's around 40g per month. if you play and sell there won't be many problems.

Unless ofcourse griffon is not your main priority.

That said, i do understand that 250g are a nice sum, but everybody can do it.

What do you expect from a meta map?

I mean, think about HoT which has its own maps with own currencies and related rewards ( maybe random, like it was DS ).

Would you like just meta events which drop like world bosses?

Some meta events like TD which has a small chance to drop an item like chak egg sack?

Or would you prefer somethin avaible only through tokens dropped from the specific event?

What do you expect whan you ask for "meta" ?

I am not really into a PvE farm ( events, bounty, meta, etc... though sometimes i do HoT meta in order to charge Ley-Energy Matter Converter ), instead i like to explore and complete the map.

I also like the story and related achievements.

At first i was really upset not about mounts, but about the low number of WP.

This was my first concern about, _though i could have liked em_ ( this was what i thought ), spending so much time due to the low numbers of WP it will be a huge time sink.

But you know what? Because they did great lowering the experience needed for the maps and removing all the different currencies per map ( which was i presume the original plan ) i did really enjoy PoF.

And the mounts was a great surprise ( though i am still a little concerned about the griffon, cause it can avoid dangerous zones in terms of debuffs and mobs, but is freaking fun as hell ). My favourite is the Raptor, then Jackal, then griffon, then springler and at last Skrimmer ( but skrimmer is not meant to be "fun" but to have it's own unique role so it's ok ).

Lvling with mounts in old maps could be more a rush, but i do enjoy to optimize time to it would be worth it ( also you are not forced to use em ).

They did great in order to mix core HoT and PoF.

Btw, i did complete the whole core with 7 charas before hot, so it's ok to use mounts if i need to go somewhere else.

I am with you, but it's something which keeps players busy.

I am glad that i play only 1 toon ( maybe 1 alt depends what wvw needs ).

I really like sab, but i also understand that it's part of the seasonal events, like halloween, wintersday, Lunar New Eve, Shirlias's Birthday and so on.
