  1. Before I forgot, would like new faces with some featuring goatees or staches, hairstyles, armors and decos. But not only for human! I'm afraid and it would be sad that EoD us 100% human just like PoF.... Icebrood saga is a mix of charr and norn. So Sylvari and Asura are the forgotten ones since 2013. (Sure, in sub story plots but nothing more and even... balthazar? Human. Caudecus? Human. Joko? Human. That just show how other races are underused and only have some stories in dungeons.).
  2. Next month is theoretically coming march gemstore sales. I would like to see multiple things in sales: Aetherblade heavy armor (so long time it hasn't returned since january 2020 plus the last good sale of this item is from march 22 2017 oh god). Magitech armor (on store regularly but never in sale last good sale from march 9 2020). Mistlock sanctuary pass (last good sale from 17th november 2020, my fault here). And finally char slot expansion! It is current on gemstore, and many time in sales, but the only -40% sale is from 2014.

And it's empty because no one has the need to go to the guild hall, apart from going to the tavern for a boost, scribing and some other niche stuff, there's nothing to do there... Which is a shame. I wouldn't want enemies in guild halls though, no matter how trashmobby they are, i like my guild halls peaceful. Since it is a big thing, the size of a capital map, I would pay 2000 gems. You heard well, 2 0 0 0 gems. Believe me or not, but old LA is another 2000 gems for you. So a total of 4000 gems. That I am ready to pay you. (Have currently 2000 gems on me, you can check) How to introduce them? Really, it is very simple, say for old LA that is a simulation recreated with the memories of the survivors of LA. For old Rata Sum, since we have already the city, say this is the ultimate alternative habitat created in the mists in the cave of a massive fallout, an achieved version, upgraded from the uncategorized fractal. (Btw could link to anything with the gates...) Note I speak about rata sum but in the trailer you can also see a cool charr city too. This old rata sum has way far more assets and details than the current one, and the golem mines are finished in that one. So, map is done, just have to be added, the only thing needed is eventually rectangle stone assets to fill the eventual holes and ton of npcs (even if basic ones). There is ton of passages and corridors and rooms.... When you think about it, what are the uses of the current lounges? -Airship and Terrace: Access to services and Pve? -Noble folly: Access to HoT -Ember bay circus: Access to LS3 maps -Thunderhead peaks one: Access to LS4 maps -Elon lily: Access to PoF -Mistlock sanctuary: Access to Fractals -Champion rest: Access to PVP -Armistice Bastion: Access to WVW What's missing? I tell you: -> Fast access to dungeons and raids (can be done through OLD LA one) Having raid + dungeon vendors. -> No lounge cover currently ls5 (icebrood saga) maps; but it can be consdered to be eye of the north. -> No lounge is based on RP, or festivals. (the rata sum one is prefect for RP) The lounge could slighty change look when a festival is here, with a mini activity related to it. -> When EoD will be there, a lounge for it will be needed. -> No lounge is only based on minigames or jps: Several grothmar like events, two small jps to do... even fast travel to jp if you think about it. -> None is based about map compeltion. Imagine the lounge being a map where you cna find poi, vistas and some quests (that don't count for world completion) Yes, I have a thing with asura, but it's because I struggle to find a good place to rp. You never find anywhere a group of asura houses, or an environment as detailed as that city in the trailer. Many good place to rp are in instances, and are ruined by foes everywhere.

  10. Allowing us to select the male or the female version of an armor skin when transmuting it. Just have enough, so limited in choice, I would like my female asura to wear the female version of armor skins.
  11. Hope the centaur plotline and i think krait (end of trailer with wooden structure underwater and corpses) ones makes a comeback later. They planned big events driven by community like ellen kiel election, very curious to see what they planned or if it is cut too. Because if ls1 like stuffs are drm, well, disapointing. (The concept is cool but quite long and not rewarding, at a point I feel those DRM could be tutorial instances to teach players about cc bars, aoes and how to use skills) They have ton of plots to make a LS6 based only on local threats and filling races lores. For nightmare court, it's done, we killed faolin and nightmare trees so kinda leaser and major thing. Same for flame legion, we obliterated gaheron and ruined the citadel of flame. Dredge isn't an issue cause thunderhead shown they started revolution to be free. Sons of Svanirs and Inquest still an issue currently, they are hydras, cut a head, someone take the lead, for both we don't know the leader (yeah technically jormag, but maybe there is a legendary son of svanir) and so it let plenty of possibilities, without speaking of the interesting character of kuda that have been introduced in ls4 and still no info about high inquisitor mait or anything. Arah is done, zhaithan killed and risens purified as shown in siren landing. For Ascalon citadel, well it us a curse, so never ending threat, may be dealt with to one day or another. For caudecus, he has been killed. See Ls3, caudecus arc was awesome. So to sum up kinda think like svennis above.

  13. Housing. Because I like paying gold, gems or whatever to have my own asura house/lab or charr tavern that I can decorate how i want and recruit npcs in it. No home instance isn't sufficient. Gh lacks racial decos. And not going somewhere else because I want in gw2. Thanks for coming to this TED talk.

  15. Dunno if it is intended or a bug but, when my first character did all its birthdays, he always got all the goodies (thinking of level scrolls). But somehow all the characters created after, once reaching tje birthdays didn t received any level scrolls. They do get the lvl 20 one, but none get the lvl 30, 40, 50 ones.... so if is normal I ask you to make those level scrolls rewarded for every birthday for every character.
  16. Just change "Top Dragon Responder" achievs or remove them. Either make it so a DRM is counted if you complete it with at least 1 Challenge active, or make it validated with only one DRM with all challenges one. It is impossible currently, timers too shorts, and you are making elitism and requiring raid like group composition in group content an even bigger issue. Go for it, but then make a solo option to get same number of achievs for casual too. Not everyone playing a metabatlle role. CM DRM are the contrary of fun content, and the contrary of everyone welcome content. Release raids, butdon't annoy everyone with achiev required to get the new emote resquiring to play you like a raid, this isn't how you ganna get more players in raid, it's pushing players away. ![](https://imgur.com/878ekJv.jpg) 0 % of gw2 efficiency complete the new emote achiev. Less than 1% (0.057 % of their playerbase) completed Top Dragon Responder (All cm drm) do you think this is normal? For me no, and those stats are the proofs.
  17. S O L O option for D R M S. Make it for players it is able to do all the Dragon Responses Missions SOLO even with all challenges active!!! MAKE IT SO THE PLAYER CAN SOLO ALL CHALLENGES DRMS. Make all the achievements doable SOLO. And add others way to get emote!!! Sold for tokens, anything if you ain't gonna do anything!
  18. Gonna put a 4, but it's because of the 4 episodes. Not the 4 upcoming chapters! /jk The four episodes got good looking maps, the little lores pieces were nice and the story well was for the most okay with some weird twists and unwanted deaths. I would have preferred going further into woodland cascade or ascalon than having those DRMS. Really. Each DRM make me want to remove points. They are unnecessarely long, reward not enough faction marks, all challenges drm can't be done solo and that's an issue. No lore / No extra talk in those... 2012 foes not even new ones. A story so predictable and flat feeling like a kid written it. "Oh! So surprising! The dragon about LIES and PERSUASION, LIED! W O W unexpected...." and I just have enough of that skrittpoop of I want to corrupt the spirits of the wild.... oh i'm ice, so it's logical, i'm freezing peoples!!! WHO WROTE THAT? So bad god. I don't even speak about the other half of the arcane council that don't show themselves (maybe because they understood that this saga is bad and they rage-quit). Aurene that has no role. Wow. So yeah was kind, a 3 or 2 out of 10 is maybe more suited. PS: Stop promising stuff you not gonna do, you already lied and scammed us by showing in the trailer centaurs and what seemed like kraits, things we don't have and will never have at this point is seems; and now you announcing using the spirits of the wild again? I tell you, this gonna be scrapped and cut content again.
  19. Not at all excited. The saga started awesomly; I can understand that skritt happens, but it is a reason to butcher the whole second half of it? Why all of these? Why calling it icebrood saga? Just say LWS5 and do 8 episodes. B U T noooooo... you preferred trading episodes that were in fact decent format for a shitty format that is those DRMS. During the four first episodes, there was grind, but achievable, it was about doing the events, the story and some things around the maps. But really forget about strikes and DRMS, what you created is another TOXIC CONTENT, where LFG group makers ARE ALREADY SELECTING PLAYERS BY THEIR CLASS OR ROLE. Does it feels ok to you, Anet, that a game that was always advertised like play how you want in this bright living world is now summed up by almost any group content by THIS ROLE OR STOP PLAYING?! it is very sad where all of this is going, you should lower the numbers of achievs required to get the new emote to 25 achievs instead of 31, disgusting to ask players to play challenges DRM whereas the group doing them prevent you from joining them. Really feels like 2012 models everywhere, basic story and event mechanics your DRMS. And nothing is done to make it better. You may look at the achievs you ar easking for first... Non sense at all.
  20. Personnal story because I felt like my characters creation choices matter and are used, branching and interesting story. I enjoyed a lot the different dungeon stories. LS1 was a fun experience for me. LS2 was one of the worst before I discovered the chapters of ls5 icebrood saga. I liked some of ls3, ember bay, draconis mons, lake doric. LS4 was promising loved episode 1 and 2 bit it fell apart with the bad episode 3, bad joko death. Rushed map with two lines of gandara meta scrapped and an unused unfinished gandara fortress. I thought they would have learned from their mistakes, but not, they killed not less than 3 good characters, blish, almorra and smodur. Those three were promising and could have been developped to help the plot, but instead they were killed like nobodies during bad story twists. Really, see LS5, exactly the same as LS4: The two first episodes are excellent and after it falls apart and go from worst to worst. Well gonna give credit that ls5 went 1 good episode further, ep3 was cool with drizzlewood. So basically, everything like Randulf apart LS1, story was ok to me, but sure i liked ls1 because of the massive impressing events like battle of la or breachmaker. My only complain is that I can't experience old la under assault again.
  21. The only regret I have about shiver emote is the useless shiverplus emote. Way far better emotes could have took its place like /meditate /tinker /shoutout...
  22. More standalone skins rewarded around by helping npcs like a mini quest. Would be added from time to time progressively around core maps, npcs like https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Riff_Sootclaw. It would be a good solution to release some unique skins pieces around while bringing players in core maps looking to find them. Also add in game all the skins of mystic forge community event that never finished correctely. I still want the rifle called Wekk.
  23. Well guess I can give rates since no news maps seems to come. Prologue: 18/20 Pros: Varieties of events, story is nice, very cool ambient dialogues, nice never ending festival map overall. Cons: Don't have any in mind. Maybe not being able to enter war room or bangar office outside of story. Bjora East: 14/20 Pros: The boneskinner stalking the escort event, doing traps around with dead corpses, boneskinner event. The meta assault on jora keep, the whispers Story is okayish, raven sanctum cool. The puzzles. Cons: Copy pasted events in each svanir camp. Many areas of the map feel dead without event, or sometimes just the same kill that patrol again and again. The trials do bring some fresh air through. Bjora West: 10/20 Pros: The creepy visions, the boneskinner shrine, the puzzles, the essence chests. Cons: Drakkar isn't impressing. It could have been on surface, coming out of ice like shadow behemoth and fracturing the ice and makes appear waters that would freeze you if you fall in it. We could have received assault from svanirs, elementals and essences imbued foes simultaneously. The copy pasta of events is a nightmare: either bring fish, cut tree or destroy ice shard/ protect ritual everywhere... event farm fest. Drizzlewood South: 16/20 Pros: The story is cool, I like siege and destroying things. Good idea of using ley line infused foes minibosses all around as camp keeper and cache defender. The map looks beautiful. Ton of good ambiant dialogues again. Expressful NPCS with ton of emotes even some we don't have. The events are varied between defusing mines, shooting copters, killing foes forces assaulting us... very fun. Cons: Some story choices are questionable and it removes some points to rate: why killing Smodur? The choices don't change anything and you drop a bomb anyway... why killing steel warband? Why killing vishen? Drizzlewood North: 13/20 Pros: Somehow a more push forward tactic, capture and go further. Using cannons, copters dropping troop, invading the citadel it isn't a bad map overall can't say it. Cons: The story is very bad and that why the rate isn't higher. Bangar got chained, Ryland corrupted... bad, I know I would rather seen them fighting along us maybe it would have required a map south of grothmar were we eliminate last stigmatized and get thanked of the charr and bangar being reasoned by almorra and her not dying. The conversion machine is teased a lot but nothing about it, no lore, how it has been made, sorry but a machine that look like containment chamber from twilight arbor it's strange. There are cool new models, those bulky shield barrier charrs, but they are underused, only able to make a wall? Expected strong shockwave or something. Some spots around empty of events, and claw of jormag reuse is cool but meh. Same mechanics.... As indication: Chapter 1: 6/20 Chapter 2? Maybe same rate, 6/20. DRMS could be the 15/20 thing is it was better thought, see the post someone made on reddit about how to make them better. Currently poor rewards, and I hate sponge bosses, so long too. Story part, without talk option, and only minimum number of npcs is sad too, saw instances with way far more npcs and assets in them. I'm very angry that it seems you cut out the part shown in trailer implying centaurs and I guess, kraits. I expected 2 more maps instead of 4 chapters, one left of drizzlewood and one north or harathi hinterlands, making somehow a link between core maps and icebrood saga. Again, angry and sad.

I *think* it'll come down to 'persuasion magic' in the end, so it's technically not our fault we were gullible because we, along with Aurene, were being subtly influenced by Jormag's magical domain. In the past we've usually had some indication people are being influenced by Jormag though, or at least Jormag via Drakkar. If the resolution is 'we made a mistake' it's going to have to be perfectly written and executed with all the proper reasoning and evidence, or else I'll be so disappointed and upset. I am still not over Jormag telling us the balance is fake and no one making a peep. The Commander has been pretty consistently supportive of Braham in previous parts of the Icebrood Saga, and was pretty sceptical of Ryland, his relationship to Jormag, and the Frost Legion in "Truce". Dunno about the asura, maybe taimi, but if you see the end of the dock instance the council or haia said that asura are enough strong to defend themselves but she thanks about the gesture and alliance. To me is that tjey discussed, but asura stay independant and don't really made a traty or anything with ryland. In the first instance too, only three councillors, what about opinions of others? Seeing that asura got nuked by primordius underground because they were confident, don't see why the story wouldn't repeat itself. The dialogue don't really hint as alliance, it would have ended more like "you proven to be worthy and a correct ace in the hand for what is upcoming, the alliance is concluded, you and your troops are free to patrol around" it's the opposite in the in game dialogue. I'm worried for taimi that seems pro jormag and said skrittshit in drm metrica, gorrik seems to have it's head with rytlock and braham and commander that are against/not trusting jormag. Dunno about jora, marjory, kasmeer, canach, but don't think they like jormag either.
