  1. Emotes well better than nothing. But I do think that some new racial skins or standalone ones could be rewarded by helping an npc as example: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Riff_Sootclaw I think as example of boneskinner skins it could have been linked to boneskinners in some way, by using the corrupted grove shrine in west bjora or the boss fight in east bjora like dunno finding all the traps dead corpses sumoning boneskinner as example. Too many rewards depend on grind or rng, see the core philosophy, that charr award you with a beanie for repairing its tank! Can't it be done with some npcs in each map requiring you to do a little task? Dunno, you help training troops and get a special weapon and so on. I think it could be as quest reward, but currently those give poor gold and karma and are only good for xp. I prefer that emote to be behind achievs because you know you can finish enough one day or another, it is reachable compared to 1/1000 chances to drop. I do wonder how the emote will look on different races. There are two emotes I am missing, the meditation from sandswept and the tinkering one used by npcs near machines showing them moving hands closely like they are crafting something. The final thing is that, since norn got 2 new cultural set literally of raven and bear shamans, I would like charr and asura having some too. No, some helm skins for charrs aren't sufficient.
  2. Totally agree there. Don't know why no devs think about it, it can be added little piece by little piece between releases. Adding events like bartender, shooting stand, and more talk options in cities.... half of those are already coded an can be reused: cook/bartender and shooting event in grothmar. Bar fight in ashford plains... I would like dynamic weather, one day you wake up with fog around the map, next day it's sunny... And for such a big world it is strange to not see merchants with cart passing from a map to another selling daily "exclusivities". So rich lore and environment and somehow a living fealing absent everywhere. I mean what the point of those private gardens in the grove or those dormitories in rata sum if they cannot be explored? Through saying big cities is only worthy in Case of Divinity reach or Black Citadel. Can it be used for hoelbrak? Without lounges it's nothing. Grove? It miss coasts and garden? Rata Sum? 80% Of land around the cube itself, and in the cube, the whole bottom half is unused. But anyway all those changes would require a thread for itself. TLDR, I read fanfictions more living than the cities of the game, and saw fanarts using better the ambiance of maps and lores of the races. And it's sad that nothing is done about it, it literally tickling me a lot and give me ants in the limbs of wanting to use a pencil on the maps to add things. I know that I would enjoy add things into the game without receiving a dollar in return. What the point of those anet creative partners anyways? Doing artshowcases and gems give away? Really? Better using them to design content and extras freely for the game you can't add yourselves because teams mobilized.
  3. Making map design impressings, and events mechanics interesting, doing it a way the player take a good slap in it face when entering the map seeing how good it is. That what I felt when I entered Old La: "Holy SKRITT this is amazing!" never got that ever again apart in a bug in the system, grothmar and while exploring core. Making the maps featuring a lot of details, not only the base modeling but also the uses of assets, I will simply redirect to looking ingame for maps that just feel empty: Bitterfrost, siren landing, desolation; those maps are huge, but a lot of wastes without anything in them, take caledon, or metrica, you can't do 500m without finding a house or an npc; and no beeing a map away from conventionnal area isn't an excuse. **So often I see threads about the game being too dark, not dark enough, poor storytelling, rushed content, and all things in between. My question is this. Where is the happy medium? Where is that balance of good storytelling and being able to keep the story in line with what MMORPG's entail?** If I got free card, I wouldn't done at all living story. Only expansions, and they would have been the following in order: 1-Core game. (Personnal story like how we know it. LS1 would be side quest.) 2-HoT Heart of Thorns (After thorns started to invade all maguuma and more and more mordrems assaulting the differents towns, pact react to save sylvaris) 3-DoF Depths of Fire (The kill of Zhaithan, and now mordremoth released a good a mount of magic, and awoke primordius who emit an intense energy signal) 4-PoC Path of Crystals (The stigmatized forces push more and more teritories, and recently got report that blood legion homelands fell facing kralkatorrik) 5-EoI Empire of Ice (Like current icebrood story, but only focusing on jormag, since primordius had a story) 6-RoW Realm of Water (Several map on archipelagos and underwater, filling the areas between ring of fire and sandswept, largos and tengus call for help in the dominion) The goal is to stick to the roots: With every expansion, 6 Big maps, 1 elite spec for all profession, 2 raids, 2 dungeons. (In that reality, fractals, strikes, DRM don't exist) and racial armors/weapons corresponding to the expac: 2 new cultural tiers (charr during PoC, human during PoF, Sylvari duing HoT, Asura during DoF, Norn with EoI) With a story, in the style of the personnal story with some branch and choices: They end at the same conclusion, but, you would recruit different allies, or bring a thing or another to your home instance. Experiencing some lores/dialogues and not another... also 1 guild hall by expansion. Each expansion can add a new feature that change the way to play, HoT with glider, DoF can be an armor bar with an exoskeleton allow you to farage through walls or ground at indicated spots for hidden areas or chests. PoC is mount, EoI with the ability of driving a charrcopter or vehicle and being parachute, and RoW having a boat and ability to use skimmer underwater. **What are your thoughts on realistically personalizing the Guild Wars 2 experience?** --> In parallel, side stories, using the personality system or a kind of reputation based one: Depending of your character creation choices and race, you can speak to somes NPCS around the world for side quests to earn tokens to exchanges against ascended, gh decos, skins, infusions. It would act like shining blade bounties, you speak to an npc and it gives you a choice between different orders, some nice, some neutral, some evil, and the npcs around you can change affiliation (only to you) depending on the fact you have more a rogue evil or a peaceful guardian angel personality. I know that personally, I would like to have another crafting discipline, artist, that can make assets or stickers usable anywhere, only seen by you apart in guild hall and home instance. You see that clothes designer in animal crossing? kinda like that. You draw a thing and you can put it where you want, you could make a regular asset to, "personalized decoration" you would have 5 slots. The big thing missing too is custmization, how can I have a personalized experience, if I can't even find a good set of skins for my light asura female? God! Human have so much skins, I just wish there were way far more high-tech, sci-fi, cyberpunk skins for asura, leafy, flowers, branching ones for sylvaris.... And way far more faces too, with beards and goatee, some scars and different aging, I would enjoy creating a old grumpy dude with a big scar on the eye and a goatee. **Then how dark do you want it, again, speaking in realistic terms?** See bjora marches, the creepy whispers and visions are good, dead corpses with blood in long live the lich too. How can you do that, but, somehow, for the boneskinner or the test subject don't put blood on cadavers? Or a blood stain under like long live the lich? It is really a matter of how it is done too, again if you take the bonneskinner, the only cool thing is when it disapear and hunt for a target before killing it, I would have preferred there was an event of investigating in the forrest and you see from time to time creepy visions or vague ghostly boneskinner head behind trunks. And during the fight itself, a way far more intense fog and mechanics with some wisps having to protect someone casting a spell. From time to time hearing screams.... I don't necessarely want Gore or Vicerous looking eel mouth creatures... but that the thing is scary in itself, if you take the bug in the system trailer that awakened abobination walking in tunnel is cool but it isn't seen in game. **How would you budget it?** I wouldn't lose any time. A team for PvP, one for Expansion, one for WvW and one for Festivals/Side quests/Dungeons. And a gemstore one. Artist and Audio too. If someone is not doing right, woop put in another. And if I see it doesn't work at all, fired. All gemstore goods would be based on a specific race or the current expansion. I would sell also everything possible to customize your way to play on gemstore: Change your projectiles!!!! Change your turrets look!!! Buy look slot!!! Buy Housing Plot!!! Buy Lounge!!! Buy weapon skin!!! Buy racial guild hall decos pack!!! Buy home instnace nodes!!! Buy gathering tool!!! Buy Projectile appearance modificator!!! Buy disguises tonics!!! (bypass foes, have no damage racial skills) Buy finishers!!! Buy Character Selection screen!!! Buy mount skins!!! Buy Glider skins!!! Buy boat skin!!! **How would you handle Public Relations?** I would ask the community to give a feedback on a thread or anything, then I close it and recover it, I search the more repeated words and read the sentences about them. If positive, I consider adding it to the game, if not, I put it on a shelf but not totally trash bin it in case off. I would organize 1 or 2 contest per year, about a weapon, an armor, a new item or a map. But the priority stay bugs of course. -No crazyness huh, this is what I would do with money and a solid team, I don't have the knowledge of money management sadly.-
  4. Bah. Meh. Really. Seem like the same non rewarding DRM of episode 1. I think the only spark of joy is maybe seeing those stone dwarves. And uhm Skritts! I'm hit! Why using largos, nightmare court, bandits, grawls, ogres or hyleks where you can use an already overused race which are the exalted. Exalted in Hot, exalted in LWS4 and now again... still don't see the unexpected allies. Better saying the very presible allies. And this is the least primordius can do? Lies. It's a dragon that don't care of lifeforms and you are saying somehow that he kept its hits to do only minimum damage? If it send the same amount of destroyers in future DRM, primordius is easy to kill. This is an irony for a chapter called power, I'm waiting to see that chapter gain in power!!! Can't defend recent weapons reward either: Outpriced skins you can't even admire due to heavy smoke and adding mastery sticked to collecting them? Bad. Frankly, betrayal of jormag? So previsible. What was the purpose of chapter 1? better haven't introduced rata sum and ryland discussing here if it is to show one second later that... that story doesn't make any skritt sense, and I regret the good old format of Episodes. Can get it wanted to be like LS1 but it doesn't look at all like LS1 and still waiting for the big events involving the community like the ellen kiel election, what we gonna vote for? Killing jormag or primordius? This gonna be the biggest hate storm from one of the two camp after losing. Feeling like there is no life in that trailer, that the npcs are somehow robots. This isn't putting explosion or few sentences that matter but adding depth to the thing: More talk options, more ambiant dialogues, more varieties of enemies.... 2021 still 2012 enemies well apart that primordius wyvern from gw1 but still apreciated. Many awesome unique foes have been designed along time: See Pof with forged and awakened, lws4 2 with new golems, lws4 5 with the branded centaur and dredges, the wisps in lws4 6, the bonneskinner, drakkar, and now we are regressing, using models that were already there. FREAKING GOD IT IS ABOUT PRIMORDIUS IS IT HARD TO DESIGN NEW DESTROYERS FOES! Just that would make a jump in quality... PS: Not gonna lose my time farming for unobtainable stupid weapons implied in another craft fest requiring expensive mats to add a spark on them! Thanks.

  6. Kinda big to state that living world is a flop. I enjoyed a lot ls1, end ls3 and start ls4, well and ls5 prologue. (Lake doric, draconic mons, siren reef then istan and sandswept, grothmar) Wasn't fan of ls2 at all, the dive in the past with the sylvari could have been cool, but don't like efforts were put in it. Worst infiltration, even transport facility of ls4e2 or e3 with bypassing awakened is better. My only regret of ls1 is not being able to enjoy anymore old LA or fighting the knights or prime hologram, really, attack of LA should be a fractal, you save citizens, you stop toxic/molten/aetherblade portal then you kill a knight involving the three atunement to end killing scarlet prime on breachmaker. You have your plot. To me, living world has various quality depending on episodes, but it has the merit of giving you a map, a meta, events, nodes, possible armor pieces, gh decos, ascendeds.... what the kitten is that new form of release of DRM? No map to complete, no good rewards, nothing apart long instances with sponge boss and nothing to do in parallel. They better had sticked to continuing releasing episodes, it a very weird turn half of that season.

  8. Totally against being banned for being under map or out of the bounds of the map. You are not gonna remove the pleasures of several players (several rp Guilds i know) activity of breaking out of map for finding good RP spots and chill with beautiful landscapes accessible to no one. The "inside an object" is non compatible too, because of wvw sieges, being in a banner, using a cunsummable like a feast, using box o fun, or any object you can pass through. One of the flag should be as example how many enemies killed during a certain amount of time, what is the last time the player moved and has the player used several skills in same time as example, for AFK farm. I agree with teleports and faster than normal speeds. The flying one is a good idea, but, hey, what about magmatic canalization, jumping shrooms? Constant updrafts and dsync may work.

The npcs are just as weak as tree leaves, in any DRM, 3 Npcs excorting is just bad, wuld make way far more sense, that on our way we found npcs in struggles fighting destroyers and recruiting them along us (NPCS that are, btw, here in the map, at those locations outside of the instance): For Brisban as example, you start with 3 sylvari, then you recruit 3 nightmare courts, then you recruit 3 skritts. Is that hard to put in place? For Gandarran, it can be pirates and lion's guard, for metrica, it can be researchers and inquest. See what I did here, I put faction, an allied one, and one evil one all together, to give the feeling that this apocalyptic destroyer invasion is affecting everyone. Why it doesn't worth it to me clearly: The foes don't drop good loot, by that, I mean, they could drop at least some factions shards and currencies. Or even having a slow chance for volcanic weapons, god they are destroyers, and the set is called volcanic doesn't it make sense? Once the first part of DRM is finished, somehow, the destroyers that were occupied assaulting the outpost just disappear. Does it make sense? They want to kill those citizens, they aren't here, to have just a 5 minutes screen time right? The final chest doesn't reward significiant loot, for same time it is better to me to do fractals, you know what? Even a leather farm in doric will give me more gold coins than those DRMS! The company said not so long ago, that strikes had "the goal to guide players into raid, like a transition platform": I don't see how that will push me into raid, the hidden lair of snowmen yes It gave me a spark, but those, no. The content feels rushed and that method of delivering content is non adapted: Take, freezie snowman lair, that mini raid that got released during wintersrday, why, why for the six or eternal alchemy sake they didn't released DRMS as mini raids too? -10 players -3 trying to find the origin of the destroyers energy disruptions/spikes -4 Helping to defend the outpost with static environmental weapons available to prevent capture from the foes. -3 preparing big weapon against big champions arriving, like a lane of chak gerent. (You see, like that cannon on the pact mothership against zhaithan, or something like that): Coming quite rapidly from the main fissure toward the outpost. -Rewards increasing depending and what task you did with the group: Saving citizen, repairing, killing destroyer amount... But in addition, how many elite ones killed, if you prevented the foes to kill allies or capturing the place. -Bosses with real mechanics, even Freezie had better mechanics. -All of that in 13 minutes. Simultaneously the three tasks. After doing the pre expedition ones during 3 minutes. It is a fight to survive, unexpected assault, it can have a fail version too, if you fail like you gonna get, dunno, gold rank if you did anything, citizens and you retreating, and if successfull, diamond rank. But rewards that really matter, since steel warband give you 1g once completed, here, like a dungeon, give at least 50 silvers, good 20 tokens, possibility to have ascended box of armor/weapon and a certain chance to have a volcanic weapon (1/3 or 1/4) chances. Since they are strikes too, for the sake of it, make the DRM reward crystals, the ones you exchange with Smoxxi.
  10. ![](https://imgur.com/I0E8LQl.jpg) I redrew some destroyers, but with a more insect-oid style, I noticed that gw1 destroyers, and even when looking closely to gw2 destroyer trolls that they have insects traits like mandibles or cheliceras and so I did another serie of destroyers samples taking an insect aspect into account. About the names, well dunno but here how I see them work: 1- top left, "Trap". It is hidden in the ground, on surfuce, only some small volcanic fissures and rumbles. But if you step on it without paying attention, you are immobilized and its wings capture you in a kind of cocoon while the head try to eat your helmet and the dart ruining the rest of your armor, a swarm of them can eacily destroy light cannons or charr cars rapidly. 2-top middle, "Dweller". It acts like a dolphin, jumping around alternating foraging and jumping in air, it generates lava rain under it, so have to avoid behind under it while it does a high jump. Once anybody spotted, it just start jumping toward you, maybe trying to stun you with it's heavy head. 3-top right, "Incubator". It carries around a lot of destroyer crabs in its big spider like back, it can fly thanks to moth like wings. However, it seems to only uses its wings to increase speed and rush to the foes or creating fire and ash tornadoes. 4-bottom left "Parasite". Can jump like a grasshopper, it jumps on the first thing it see and simply stick to it until completely burnt. 5-bottom mid "Sky demon". The back has firefly wings and is as thin as a leaf. Most of the rest is mantis like. It is a bomber, it keeps in altitude and almost never go on the ground once fight is engaged. It then throw explosive eggs and fire bombs all around. 6-bottom right "Scout". It has a strange organ on it's back that act like a sensor transmitting informations to all others destroyers. Its two claws are alaways in fusion, to create paths for follwoing troops if none available, it as a very corrosive mouth appendice too. The Dart has a strange function, it isn't to sting, but to emit a strong shockwave by hitting the ground rapidly.

Yeah but also, this system already exist and work perfectly in sun refuge: You have a D-Jey golem npc allowing you to play a ton of different themes way more than mox from draconis story. They basically just have to copy paste that npc. No issues cause sun refuge, like home instance or guild hall are instances, it is compatible. There is the corrupted Kudu goggles that are already in game but not obtainable, that funky glasses on rytlock during SAB promotion trailer, but why not adding more futuristic ones too? The right picture. Also the steampunk style render well on the bottom left picture. Also since, we have currently ear muffs, quaggan beanies, aurene fluffy hats, devil horns and so on, why not a regular music headset? Those are only a bunch of artworks I am showing here from talented artstations or tumblr artists, easy to think about a lot more, why restraining yourself to only producing beanies or regular hats?   14. I like those kind of subjects putting things in perspective. To me, after reading op post, I don't think the battlefield would look like a simple ww2 trenches and this is why: Compared to real life, you have spells, protective magic shields protecting against projectile and some making you invulnerable for short time. Make a duo of a guardian and a warrior as example, those two honna rush the field, one protecting both from projectiles and the other will then once enough close ise its invulnerability to slaughter foes... kek. About the races themselves, I do think that norn/human/sylvari are weaker than the two others races: Charrs have most of the machinery and asura the technology. The personnal story has proven those two races are quite ingenious and good at inventing weapons: Mind controlled golem, an anti ghost rifle, inventing airships, holograms warriors, scrap cannons, charr tanks and cars, light cannon... If we want to be realistic, it is shown that asura can have personnel protective magnetic force field, that they know about holo walls or barriers, and golems. So basically they can make several squads of shock troops equiped with personnal holo shield, they could even be invincible: put a shield generator mounted on a moving platform toward the enemies and you can reach them without dying. Regarding charrs, the sylvari could prepare their hounds or oakheart, human their mages and soldiers and norn taking their spirit form; they all gonna be eliminated in a second by charrcopter, charr mortars and cannons, charr assault car or charrzookas. The most "epic" and lasting fight would happens between charr and asura. Human would be basically heavy fixed siege engines and spells, very easy to eliminate with a ranged bombs rain through copters or shot by light cannons. Sylvari are trees peoples, putting fire on the battlefield will throw them out of the competition. Norns may have help from the spirits, they will only be good at holding their positions: Ballistas rows protected by raven or any spirits. That whole thing to say, both army can rush toward the other by using protection spell. But if using spells in backlines, it is technically an infinte neverending war. But I will asume that spellcasters use their mental and will run out of forces rapidly: So basically each camp have to rush toward the other before the backforces are anhilated, so constant fight at middle, continuous one without respite. There is no need to hide behind dirt piles, just ask a mage to call a protective shield. Other techniques? Invisibility is impossible, ash legion too much good at detecting invisible presence, asura scanners detecting anything. Flying to bypass and attack from behind? Any flying machine would easily bypass catapults or mortars. But not head seeking charrzooka missiles or lasers. About siege machines, only charr and asura can make their ways in them and arrive toward opposite army. Teleportation? Mesmers, necro and thiefs in any races, but asura have teleportation gun and turrets they can even build a gate to arrive where they want. One of my big question, is that if such a war happens, assuming that waypoints exist, would they all be turned off during war, would the asura help the army offering more for aftermatch? Teleporting behind foes first lines through armies can decide to destroy them in case off.
  15. *Laugh in crash bandicoot.* Really, gw2 jumping puzzles are fun. And quite simples for most of them. I struggled with dement clocktower but it was before understanding that I do have to jump down at the middle of the jp (thought at first there was no solution to go further). I will only agree about the fact that LA jp is not very clear, but to me it s because it is too dark and don t see anything (boosted screen gamma). I don't think the puzzles are the issue but more the cameras or knowing where you are and where you are aiming for. (Through shame on myself I enjoy doing jp with my engie and its rifle jump shot to do precise jumps)

Enough! 38 REVIVE ORBS. 12 REPAIR CANISTERS. 11 MERCHANT AND BANK EXPRESS. 3 SALAVAGE KITS. 2 TRADING POST EXPRESS. 125 FREAKING USELESS MYSTIC FORGE STONES!!! Since you removed the only item I was interested in from BL chests (Self style hair kit) and that my only source of goodies is those useless chests of black lion good; and assuming that there are players around here that surely have way far more quantities of those useless items; I ask you to add an Npcs to allow converting those BL items into another BL items such as this self hair kit, black lion statuettes or transmut charges as example. For 125 useless forge stones and 38 revive orbs I estimate I can at least receive in exchange 40 self hair kits and 30 bl statuettes hmm?? If my totally useless stuff above is converted to gems, it represents 9500 + 420 + 385 + 385 + 900 + 100 + 6250 GEMS so in total 17940 GEMS so amazingly and riduculously rich but hehe, in fact 0 right now!!! Even let's say, you want to only give me half for them, it's still 8970 GEMS, oki maybe one third? Still 5980 GEMS. So What I am asking to put in place is at least a system of conversion respecting the original cost of each items: (This is using gemstore price) Transmutation charge = 30 gems unity Merchant Express = 35 gems unity Bank Access Express = 35 gems unity Instant Repair Canister = 35 gems unity Trading Post Express = 50 gems unity Mystic Forge Stone = 50 gems unity Box o' Fun = 80 gems unity Black Lion Chest Key = 125 gems unity Revive Orb = 250 gems unity Self-Style Hair Kit = 250 gems unity Black Lion Salvage Kit = 300 hems unity ![](https://imgur.com/kUYg7Jcm.jpg) By this chart, with 6 forge stone I have 1 self hair kit. With 5 express trading post I have 2 bl keys. With 10 transmutation charge, a salvage kit. This is also a fair system, it is using the prices indicated on the gemstore itself to determine how many item you can have in exhange of yours. About "the players gonna have ton of bl keys rapidly oh god gonna break the economy!" just false alarm. What's the matter? You have 50 keys and then what? You gonna burn them through chests to get what, 1 or 2 rare item? Also Honestly, getting 50 statuettes out of them (assuming one statue guaranteed or in each), it's normal, because you trade those gemstore goodies against other goodies. Those items listed above doesn't fall from sky regularly, 4 items thanks to daily reward each month, let's imagine you are extreme lucky, it is 4 times salavage kits, so 1200 gems, for keys it means 8 keys. If you have only charge it is 120 gems almost 1 key, if you have forge stone, 200 so 1 key. Pretty fair if you ask me again, not everyone gonna roll only salavage kit each time, look at my bank, mostly revive orb and mystic stones. Let's say I rolled 2 stones and 2 orbs , 600 gems, equal to 4 keys. WARNING: 8 keys OR ZERO, it you drop 4 transmut charges (extreme bad luck), you only have 4 transmut charges, cannot be converted into the key. In most case, players will have at least 1 keys per month from the chest of black lion good kinda guarenteed. I'm asking devs to consider this new system: You remove Bl keys from map completion and story steps . Each week, the players will not be able to have a bl key apart if they drop an orb or a salvage kit in that chest of black lion goods: No more need to kill a character or create a new one each week and that's the good thing, because even the player without free slot and not wanting to kill their character will be able to earn a key. Instead of that weekly key in personnal story, put a weekly key as reward of a new weekly rotating achievment: Either do X events, do x world bosses, do X meta events, participate in X activities, run X dungeons. This will revitalize those contents. This is a guaranteed weekly key, so 4 in total in one month. The calculation is simple: Your earn 1 key each week for doing a weekly achiev. And each week, you have that rng drop of chest of black lion good that can give you 0 or 1 key (more chance of 0). And you have 4 weeks, so apart if you drop transmut charges only, you can have a key at the end of the month by converting the 4 dropped items. It is 5 keys per month or 8 keys if you are extra lucky. I really want a system to get rid of those pointless items filling my bank.

If End Of Dragons is as bas as those Champions chapters that is my signature of leaving this game that was awesome and full of life at its start. Not fault of players, many do awesome expansion concept/thesis/artworks, drawings on artstation and fanfictions better than what we have in game. I would make a book of easily 26 pages with only as theme "primiodus" "asura" "jormag" "charr" right now it is a mess, what was the purpose of LS5 if it is now to ally with our enemy that killed innocent charrs? Metal legion and almorra would be ashamed, even trahearne would kill us.

Rewards tracks on the contrary in wvw as example make you swim in charges and tomes of knowledges. I even consider 0 charges earned by characters: cause when leveling, you may want to already spend those 6 to look more decent even if you aren't 80. If you meant, killing your alt in loop just for 6 charges, it's sad, really. But it is already the case to farm bl keys, which is another bad system too btw. You shouldn't earn charges or keys by map complete or killing in loop each week your alt but by doing every world boss during the day or after doing a certain numbers of daily event or dungeons would be better and making more sense.
  19. I would rather see wanet deleting definitely transmutation charges. It is just annoying and infuriating to not be able to pass freely from a skins suit to another. Especially if you are Rper or enjoy heavily fashion wars, one of the main aspect of the game. Better to release wardrobe template to save look right now, I prefer paying one time 500 gems for storing 2-3 looks I can switch between freely when I want than regularly buying charges for the sake of changing my chest and pants appearance. The discussion about it is easy in another gamemodes or they have to sell them is plainly non sense, and the system alreadry proven to be faulty. We had before transmutation crystals and stone but it was about merging equipments, then we got charges that are the same but know for skin instead of armor piece. There are plenty way to monetize the game, and no doubt they can find another one if making transmutation free: Selling skill appearance, minions or turrets or pets appearance, selling extra hairs and personalization contracts and so on.

  22. Points 1 - 2 yes, it is surely too late, but point 3 and 4 can still be done. But not exactely like how it described here. For point 4, it is totally possible today, to add event in cities, and make the areas that were forgotten like polymock arena or nina stand in DR or the bane in black citadel living again by adding something. A map, take 3 month, but it has events, stories, quests, npcs ton of events and maybe mastery with it. How long will it take to add 6 events, one for each main city? I answer you: 1 week or 2. For point 3, they are currently adding racial armors, see bear/raven ceremonial armor, vision of khan ur, runic armor.... they can simply continue and add some for sylvari, asura and norn. For point 5, it is possible to add a mastery line, or an achiev like chair of the world, but that instead of chairs, ask you to document the main races around. It takes time, but see, why dis they add that chair achiev? A lot of coding, but it proves it can be done. Imagine you have a scanner you carry with you, and have to target an npc to register it inside, at the end you gain a lore book with fluff about all race? Would be a nice little thing. GW2 isn't just about farm but also the little things around an funny ambient dialogues. To answer Seera above, the reputation system would only happens in quests, each player have its own quest bar, it isn't because your friend near you is sabotaging everything that you lose quest progress. But for both of you it affects differently the reputation bar of the map. But I do agree, it is too late maybe to add such a system, but it cost nothing to at least bring back the personnality system that is already here, just hidden. DeanBB, this is just an opinion, no where I said they have to do it. Surely, sharing this post before at launch would have been better, but even so, it shouldn't be an issue about when you post something. A healthy game can realease big releases even later after launch, do you think they don't have the force, strength, manpower to do it anymore? I still believe in them. But, see it more as a list, you aren't forced to pick everything on the list, you can pick only some. But point 3 is already here, but not in the same form. Point 4? they already proven it with grothmar and bar and shooting stand events. Point 5? We have norn masteries with icebrood saga, why not a core one implying your race? It doesn't take that much to devellop a mastery. Really. Not everything take 3 months to develop.

Add new npc like lady camilia for Eotn in guild hall to purchase extra services: Having an asura gate in guild hall, tune it to different destinations, maybe selling new themed decos bundles from time to time, crafting stations access, trading post and bank, laurel vendor... way more gh all upgrades, workshop, arena, scribing additionnal upgrades, lvl 500 scribes with racial decos with quests like chef 500.
  24. Thought of something completelyvdifferent when reading the title o_o what about: Guild raiding another guild guild hall? The WvW decorations would become foes shooting/attacking intruders and other become destroyable (worry not, you can t tuins other gh decos, it is just in the gh assault instance) the goal would be as example to destroy specific unique decos put by gh members on what is considered to be accessible and part of ground for the game.
