  1. it would be great, guild wars faction was by far my favorite game with nightfall. And the music was exceptional, the best in the franchise, it brings me back so many good memories. I don't understand the posts above that say it's the weakest game, it was so above eye of the north..and even gw2 honestly I would be very disappointed if they don't use these musics
  2. of course she has to die, this abomination killed joko, the only villain who had real potential in this game i can't wait for her to be killed with the other dragons, that we can finally move on to interesting stories (you know like in gw1)
  3. new pvp modes inspired by those of guild wars factions, cantha without pvp would be unimaginable. Otherwise I would like new raid-type elite area (urgoz, the deep) and quality meta events that require organization like on HOT After obviously a good story that focuses on cantha politics but I am under no illusion we're going to start again in the uninteresting loop: destroy the bad dragon and forget all the fascinating story of cantha
  4. > @"Tony.8659" said: > Arenanet with regards to the new update, can you please extend the Dragon Response Mission timers, all except Lake Doric with all Challenge Mote's active? Lake Doric is perfect with enough time to finish even with deaths and running back from the waypoint to the boss again. The others, clearly not. This is not fun content at all. I can see it in the LFG section everytime I post I'm the only one posting for a group. Please patch it this week if you can, to extend the timers in those areas with all Challenge Mote's active. > @"Bristingr.5034" said: > > @"Linken.6345" said: > > Then it would not be a challenge anymore. > > Snowden Drifts is practically impossible right now to the point even Raid-geared teams are struggling. I suceed it the first time, more than one minute early and no member of the team had yet tested the mission. If they give more time, there will be absolutely no more challenge as the boss is really easy. If you are not able to do it, try to improve yourself instead of always asking for a nerf ... that's the point of a challenge, if everything becomes easy, everyone gets it the first time and content becomes obsolete in 2 days. That's why there is an easy mode and a difficult mode. We must give meaning to the word ''challenge''. Something that you achieve the first night is not a challenge, it's a joke. You forget that for some players, it's not fun to finish content the first time. What is funny is to try to adapt your build / the composition of your team to the bosses, improve your reaction time and not to run over him like a crab raids are a hundred times harder than this DRM. By the end of this week, even without a nerf, all groups will be able to finish it.
  5. The worst thing that has happened to guild wars since scarlet. We clearly feel that the great talents of the arena team have left the game since the beginning of living story 4, I don't feel anymore the soul of the game at all in terms of story and content. What they dared to do with the dwarves in the last update was inconceivable. I'm a little afraid of what they are going to do in cantha .. 2/10 (for the good prologue) > @"vier.1327" said: > I do not know what happened to the game direction, maybe Covid-19 or focusing too much on End of Dragons. But this season has been the worst that I have played ( playing since the beginning of Ls2) Lots of important people have left arena team for 2 years(the good writers, devs that took care of the raids ...)the loss of quality in the game mainly comes from there, we pay the consequences
  6. The worst thing about this update is the storyline, even a 5 year old child would be able to do something more interesting and original. We really feel a change in the soul of the script since the main writers left arena...I have been playing guild wars for 15 years and I have never seen a story so messy and bland The return of the dwarves without any lines of dialogue or details of what happened to them is a total **disrespect** to gw1 players. The content is better than last time although it is still boring. At least the bosses have some mechanics even if it's still casual level The fact that there is an additional map is not a guarantee of quality, Just see drizzlewood coast added a few months ago which was an abomination: zerg spam1 kikoo. So you don't necessarily need a map, just quality content that makes you want to repeat it and this is clearly not the case. in short, I'm just waiting for the end of this catastrophic saga to finally move on the extension which I hope will mark a real revival. I hope the team played guild wars faction to understand the soul of cantha, that they dare not to do something totally tasteless
  7. absolutely no one is talking about the massacre of the dwarves? They come back with hardly a single line of dialogue For a Guild Wars 1 player like me ,it's really hard to see, a shame.I imagined so much better for them with underground maps ..
  8. > @"hugo.4705" said: > -Top Dragon Responder: Metrica Province (Completing the DRM) => IMPOSSIBLE > -Top Dragon Responder: Gandarran Fields (Completing the DRM) => IMPOSSIBLE > -Top Dragon Responder: Brisban Wildlands (Completing the DRM) => IMPOSSIBLE W T F? l2p issue there is nothing else to say And the excuse of groups is not valid, there are plenty of them. And it's almost impossible to fail the mission (at least the first 3).
  9. I am excited that this saga is coming to an end. The content was really boring and shameful
  10. Boring, I'm only waiting for one thing, it's the end of this disaster, end of April and the poor dwarves relegated to a faction with 2 lines of dialogue, what a shame ..
  11. Without the leech sometimes, I would literally have ended up in a psychiatric hospital before having access to the otter this map is a psychological torture
  12. so we have absolutely no mcm contents for years and you want to delete the only map added since the start of the game this community is very special sometimes....
  13. now players complain about the difficulty even in such a ridiculous mini game I do not know whether to laugh or cry ^^
  14. -splendid maps similar to those of gw1 and not half destroyed by boring dragons -A rich story that really focuses on the cantha lore but given the name of the extension I do not believe it for a second. -good metas with difficulty and coordination on the new maps of the expansion as in HOT( please no more spam 1 zerg) -a new pvp mode (inspired by AvA, the jade quarry or Fort Aspenwood pvp mode on gw1) -new raids (urgoz, The Deep) -maybe housing for the new feature. But a kind of village where we would see the house of the other players. -new jumping puzzle in kaineng city As for the saga I do not expect anything, it was a disaster from the start and the end may be the worst thing ever seen on gw2. All my hope is on EoD
  15. A cute and funny mount, i suspected that this skin would appeal to girls, gz arena =) As a man I find it a bit ridiculous and the complete opposite of impressive, so obviously I won't take it.
  16. > @"Pockethole.5031" said: > > @"Shikaru.7618" said: > > Here is something that a lot of the mmos youve mentioned have in common. They all have an easily identifiable gear score or damage score, so when you get a new piece of gear, you can make informed decisions at a glance and know if you're getting an upgrade or downgrade. Gw2 does not really present any of that information to you easily. It is very easy to gear and build your character incorrectly and be completely oblivious that you did so. The difference between the average player and top tier raiders is 10x according to a dev despite having the same tier of gear. Imagine if you magically dealt 10x damage right now. Would you still be struggling with open world? Thats the reality that a lot of us veterans are trying to tell you. Anything thats not a champion or bounty will basically melt in open world. You just need proper builds and proper stat combos on your gear. > > Alright, that's it. > **I told you many times, I know how to play. If you can't believe it just stop insisting.** To have difficulties in open maps on one of the simplest mmo on the current market, I'm not so sure ... or bad build AND bad stuff
  17. > @"Pockethole.5031" said: > I changed my original post to describe the problem a little bit more. > And for everyone who are against me, I wrote: > **People who want hardcore open world experience can always wear blue grade gear.** > I hope casuals will be at least noted when designing mobs. Not everyone likes super intense combat. If it's intense for everyone, not everyone have fun. If it's easy for everyone, those who want can choose for it to be more challenging by using lower grade gear. And if they change their mind they can always use better gear again. Result: maps are fun for everyone, hardcores and casuals alike. > > I suppose alternatively they could think of a system that let's you choose map difficulty when you enter it. That would be awesome. What makes difficult content interesting it's mobs / bosses with innovative mechanics that make you think and improve your skill/ your placement in space. It has absolutely nothing to do with wearing blue gear and taking more damage, come on ... With a build and a suitable stuff, the maps of pofs can be explored while sleeping. You don't even have to concentrate, you can watch TV while playing. strictly nothing comparable with HOT where you had to concentrate constantly otherwise you were one shot.

The mobs with the best design with margonites Finish the primordius story with 3 destroyers design, it's really sad. He deserves far better...
  22. > @"ugrakarma.9416" said: > destroyers are by far the most boring enemies,, it's so sad to read that on guild wars 1, they were so interesting to fight and they had lots of different designs .. arena really made them look ridiculous with boring fights.
  23. > @"Yasai.3549" said: > What people hate : > - Arbitrary wait times > - Poor rewards - and boring content you can give the best rewards in the world, if you have to kill mobs and bosses over and over again without any mechanics or difficulty it will remain boring and impossible without falling asleep. Drizzlewood Coast has exactly the same probleme. the major problem of the drm it is indeed the stupid mobs without interest and the boss sponge which does absolutely nothing. Content is interesting when it allows you to think a little bit and pushes you to improve yourself. it's content that forces you to focus without spamming 1 like a robot. Basically the complete opposite of these new missions it was never the rewards that made a content really fun...
  24. i don't hope this will be the end By the time we're finally done with these uninteresting and repetitive dragons, I'd like to see something else A motivating scenario like in gw1, which had such a superior story than gw2 ... But I think unfortunately it will be the end after the expansion or maybe one last living story to complete it all. Arena has every interest in finding a new way to make money quickly because gw2 is clearly at the end of his life. And I think the money they will earn with the next expansion will be used to launch their new project. This money will not be used at all to continue creating content on gw2
  25. delete them then create something totally different there is absolutely nothing to save in DRM
