    > I know... we might have lost someone dear to us, Aurene, second scion of Glint and chosen to become eldar dragon. She was essential to become an eldar dragon for Glints plan to work, jet think of it like this: It was not a prophecy, It was a plan, something that could fail. but we achieved something today. We severly damaged Kralkatorrik and drained him of his magic, most of it at least. now he is severly weakened. Id say he is as weak as Zhaitan as he clinged to the tower before we finished him (in an anticlimactic way ). We are safe for now at least...

If left alone he will recover his power in no time, not to mention that without Aurene we can't kill him no matter how weakened he is (otherwise the planet goes BOOM! and we all die). So i think there must be a way to bring Aurene back to life like the Commander did in PoF, otherwise we are seriously screwed because there is no plan B in dealing with Elder Dragons. And Taimi randomly having an epiphany that allows her to come up with a completely new solution would make little to no sense.

  2. Here is what i think

It has been long established (since LW3 episode 5) that we can't kill Elder Dragons without a way to replace them, otherwise the planet goes BOOM. If that happens, we are screwed. So now that Aurene is dead we can't kill Kralkatorrik no matter how much we want to. But, we also cannot let him recover the strenght he has lost in this fight, because if that happens he will go back consuming all the magic which means we are also screwed.

So i think that we are probably going to do another trip into the domain of the lost (or whatever part of the Mists the souls of dead dragons end up in) and find a way to resurrect Aurene. The Commander managed to come back to life after being killed by Balthazar, i believe Aurene can do the same. And once she's back, we can fight Kralkatorrik again and finish him off for sure. In my opinion, that's the only way to save the story coherence (Aurene did die just like she predicted she would, but nobody said anything about her being unable to resurrect). Even if the whole "coming back to life" would be sort of a deja-vù after what happened in PoF, it is still a lot better than Anet creating a whole new different solution to the Elder Dragons problem out of nowhere. Because that would feel like a total asspull (since there has been no foreshadowing of such a thing), not to mention that Aurene being permanently dead would invalidate pretty much everything we have done since we first heard about the Egg in LW2 episode 5.

Unfortunately, some necessary content is locked behind them and I'm **FORCED** to do them in order to get the things that I want...**THAT** is pure **BS**! If Anet wants to please the tiny minority of players who like jumping puzzles, fine, give them a jumping puzzle park...just don't force the majority of players to participant in stuff that we hate!

Can you please elaborate? I can't remember ever being forced to do a JP. What is this necessary content that demands you to complete a JP?

    >

    > Here's the big issue: you can't wear two earrings of the same type, because they're unique. So, now I'm stuck with one HoT earring and one from fractals or some other part of the game. Or, I have to use winterberries to make earrings. But, those have to be reserved for breathers, because there are effectively no other breathers available. (The ones from Astora come even less frequently than Wegloop's, so that's no help.)

Uhm, no. If you want ascended earrings with HoT stats, you can get one in Ember bay, and another one in Bitterfrost frontier. You don't need to do fractals unless you want it to. Just farm Bitterfrost frontier for a week and you will have both the earring and the acqua breather.

  5. Yes, Balthazar is really dead. And no, the PC can never become a god for obvious reasons, no matter how much some players would like to see it happen. In the story, Balthazar's godly powers were taken away from him by the other gods (and we don't know what they did with it), and the Bloodstone + Jormag & Primordus Dragon Magic he used to regain power after escaping his imprisonment got absorbed by Aurene and Kralkatorrik after his body exploded.

  6. Are you guys so certain that Joko is actually dead? I mean, Aurene didn't look so well after finishing her meal. Sure, could have simply been an indigestion, but i'm not so sure about that..... expecially because Joko had just finished to brag about how his immortality is vastly underestimated.

Don't get me wrong, i want Joko dead, but i can't shake this feeling that Anet might be trolling us. I will wait till next episode before declaring Palawa Joko dead and gone.

    > I've recently finished completing every story and every zone on my 11th character. That includes personal story, season 2, HoT, season 3, POF and the living world up to Season 4 chapter 2. It includes all zones except WvW (which I've completed on a number of characters, but it doesn't seem to be part of anything anymore).

    >

    > One of the advantages to completing stories multiple times on multiple professions is learning those stories better. A lot of stories seem harder than they really are, because we tend to do them once or twice. When we do other content like dungeons, fractals and raids, we tend to find them harder the first couple of times also.

I did the same, getting 100% map completion on every map in the game with all of my nine characters (one for each class). B)

Jumping puzzles are completely optional content, so i don't see a reason to ragequit because of them. That said, if you have not played in years maybe it's better if you start anew.

You want to see the bad guys win? That's super easy! All you have to do is close GW2 and turn on the TV, or just go outside your home. The real world is full of bad guys winning all the time, so that should make you happy. ;)

I, on the other end, like to see the good guys win. At least that way i can pretend that justice _can_ prevail, even if only in fiction.

    > So Ion said we wouldn't get HIgh Elves in WoW, so how about High Elves introduced in Guild Wars? Most games have elves in their fantasy, but GW has no elves at all.

You do have High Elves in WoW though. That's how the Blood Elves used to call themselves before they left the alliance for the horde.

You can't. The only thing you can do is to get used to it. It might take a while, but eventually you will learn how to jump without activating the glider (sometimes lag will still screw you over though).

I just don't like the feeling of leaving things unfinished. Also, that is the result of four years of playing GW2, so it's not like i play the game 24h a day and do nothing else. ;)
