In Dragonball when one team's too small, people will be asked to volunteer to join the smaller team. The description for it says that you'll get a guaranteed win bonus, but the volunteer gets nothing. No loot, no currencies, and not even advancement in any dragonball participation achievements.

Also, please note that this is the incorrect forum section for this post. You may want to post these things in the General/Guild Wars 2 Discussion.

If you really want to get things done, you will find a way. See comment #2.
You can also ask your guildies for help and if all else fails, bribery works too =P
I personally have not found any achievements to be impossible, no matter how old. There’s always other stragglers that have yet to do it and helpful people that will do it again with you. I suppose, besides being commanding and confident (if needing to lead a group), some luck is also required.

I can hide my shoulder pieces. And i do, on my main. Same as head piece (which I also hide).

NPC charrs look a lot better than player charrs.... maybe because they have more slider options >.>
Nevertheless, i play only charr.
Sylvaris are fun to look at. Like artsy, stylishly-grown plants in a truly living garden.
Asuras are interesting but i gotta say that their pointy teeth put me off. Small things + pointy teeth = parasites
And i don’t even know what asuras eat
I can’t play humans. I can barely stand NPC humans. It’s like they look *not human enough* to trigger some sort of nauseating unfamiliar-familiarity reflex. Not sure how to explain that >.>
Norns are more tolerable than humans, but I wish that there could be fat norns. I haven’t paid attention to the NPCs, but I’d like to see player norns with big bellies running around. I mean, all that beer’s got to go somewhere. And maybe Santa could be a norn, huddling somewhere in Snowden Drifts.

As I’ve very little time to play these days, I’ve a short “Do” list and a much longer “Could Do” list (also known as my “Have Done And Would Probably Still Do If I Had Time” list).
Do:
Craft daily mats and sell on TP
Say hi to my guildmates
Check Ley-Energy Matter Converter
Check guild banks
Browse gemstore
Weekly key farm
Contemplate wasting more time
Exit game before I waste more time
Could Do:
Daily things like
-farm guild hall nodes
-talk to guild hall trader
-farm home nodes
Occasional actual dailies
Finish stories on my alts
Finish Mawdrey on my alts
Gather hero points on my alts
Map completion on my alts
Level and finish building my druid
Craft ascended gear
Learn raids
Save for legendary gear
Run daily fractals
Watch public roleplay
Crash public roleplay
Complete more achievements
Try running around WvW more
Attempt to PvP without dying
Find ways to break the map
Re-skin for Fashion Wars
Obsess over dyes
Collect all minis, skins, tonics, books and toys
Buy every chef recipe off TP
Farm maps
Grab a snack, afk and chat
Run around and harvest everything in sight and beyond
Re-do jumping puzzles that I come across, just for fun
And more. And forget that real life exists. And look at the clock and startle myself, and finally go to bed.

Yup! I noted somewhere in a comment that it was part of my favorite answer.
I think that this thread has reached the end of its life, but anyone’s free to add their last thoughts ~.^

Bears and wolves will also eat nuts and berries when they need to, but I don’t think that they’re considered hunter-gatherers.
> If you want to be technical, Dragons, Devourers and who knows what else prey on all of the "major races" of Tyria - so they are also prey.
A point that I’ve seen many people make >.> my question in itself was funny, so I can’t really make a logical argument. But if I wanted to argue, I’d say that my usage of “prey” and “predator” in this thread is a lot more general. They correspond more to how high up in the food chain the animals are, rather than solely if they’re eaten by anything.
> I think the horns are wholey irrelivant in this regard, since you don't use horns to eat.
Nothing uses horns to eat. However in irl, horns are associated with prey animals while predator animals noticeably lack them—and will instead have fangs and claws, which prey lack.
Edit: see two comments below

Dragons and wyverns (which I think of as mini-dragons) are weird things that in other stories have died out long ago (and are currently dying in Tyria... as we kill them :D). Obviously, their horns are doing little to protect them and evolutionary become moot. (And dragons live a long time and rarely breed, so their evolution is particularly slow).
Stoneheads, I think, are actually "prey". They're just very stoney prey, like other animals are leathery prey. It protects them =P
Vinetooths... I have no idea. I have no idea what they are.

That wasn't the point :/ The horns are used for territory, yes--but the Charrs don't use them that way. They don't use them at all. (And the prey don't use their horns to fight off their predators, only to fight other males of their own.)
Edit: So far, the best answer that I like is that Charrs are currently predators. That they might’ve used their horns once before when they were more prey-like, and still keep their horns due to social/mating selection.

What eats a charr?
(Or even a big cat?)
-
I feel the need to mention that you spelled “Dredgehautn” in your photo title.
-
Edit: I think that this thread has been suitably answered, but feel free to add your last thoughts :3
“Best” conclusions:
- Charrs were once more prey-like and had more need for their horns, but they stayed due to social/mating selection
- Horns were never used in relation to their food chain status, but instead are symbols (whether evolutionary or socially) of their herd (or warband) mentality
- It’s a fantasy game. Let’s mix horns, claws, manes and fangs all into one animal!
Thanks to all who contributed :D this was fun.
Original post:
While rolling around my bed and refusing to get up, I realized why the horns on a charr look weird. Have I ever seen a predator with horns?
Predators (without horns)
Big cats
Alligator
T-rex
Wolf
Bear
Prey (with horns)
Bull
Deer
Antelope
Elephant (edit: actually, no horns. just tusks—although come to think about it, they kinda serve the same function)
Triceratops
Now I realize thay elephants are not usually seen as “prey” due to their size, but you cannot argue that they are passive creatures that do not munch on animals. And bulls are mean, but they’re still male cows.
Back to the topic at hand. As you can see, a hornless predator would be that cat which your charr resembles, but that horned bull would also be that animal which your charr resembles. So, I have to ask—is the charr predator or prey?
-
I personally like seeing all of them. It makes me feel like I know more :D
Also if I hide them, I’ll probably forget that they exist, heh.
But anyway, if you’re trying to find specific recipes, you can type it directly into the search bar. If you’re just browsing and you’re annoyed at the extra recipes... I honestly don’t see that being fixed any time soon, even if it could be.

You’re the one making the game stressful on yourself for attempting the same hard achievement over and over again in the same manner.
I see already in the few comments that I skimmed that others have done the achievement with ease, so it’s not a problem of the achievement being ridiculous—it’s how you’re not learning from your mistakes that’s ridiculous. One of your mistakes is purposefully chasing something that you’ve come to hate. Another mistake is how you blame ANet for the hatred that you yourself fostered. And then, of course, the obvious mistakes would be those in your gameplay that disable you from completing the achievements.
Take a break and come back with your head cleared. Find someone who’s done what you’re trying to do. You should see results.

This Dignity leveling sword
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dignity
I salvaged it with a Mystic Salvaging kit but got nothing. I'm guessing that it just doesn't yield any salvage results--but in that case, could you not let us salvage it so we don't waste a kit?
Edit: I didn't salvage it directly--I couldn't salvage Dignity itself, but turning it into its Vagabond version made it "salvageable" without any loot

The original post was just to ask PoF players to also have access to legendary armor, which is fair. They paid for an expansion but realized too late that it locked them out of some good gear. This gear has the same stats as ascended armor, but that could also be an argument for saying that there's no reason to lock it behind a different expansion. Well, except sales.

Part of this heart in Wayfarer Foothills is to catch frozen kegs. But your character never catches them, even if you stand dead-center in the highlighted orange area. They always hit the ground and smash open, not advancing the heart.

Before the floor of the Royal Terrace loaded in, I noticed a hidden Statue of Balthazar...

Thanks, guys. I found him. I restarted my game, but I'm not sure if that did anything. I just looked harder this time. He wasn't marked with a star until I talked to him for the first time, and he wasn't standing near any entrances =.=;

Edit: Resolved
I did the current event and got credit for it. I got Ninn's mail and tried reloading into my home instance a few times. He isn't there. I'm on the same character that did the achievements.
Edit: Charr

> Coming from someone who has been with the GW2 musician community since the release of in-game instruments, I do not see what your issue is because it makes no sense. The duration of notes on the Mariner's Horn are only as 'long' you make them depending on how long you hold them down. If you just tap a note really quick on the Mariner Horn followed by another note right after that, the duration of a note is shorter.
Oh, that's why. I've been repeatedly told that you're forced to hold down a note for the full duration, that tapping still causes it to be held--but i guess that's because they didn't try or didn't notice that tapping another note will cut the first one short.

The year-round festival vendor is not meant to be a replica of the vendors that are available during actual festivals. It only offers a few select items.

I think that fishing would pose a problem for scaling nearby events. You can scale up events, but you can't scale them back down. People who are nearby large events, just fishing, would cause the mobs to be worse than they have to be--even if they politely move and find a new spot to fish. That being said, fishing in cities wouldn't be too bad ~.^
Edit: I'd recommend that it be something entirely in of itself, i.e. an achievement to collect all of the fishes could be implemented, but not much else. Or else people would afk bot all day.

I agree with the others. Wardrobe only, but I'd prefer to just have people asking each other.
Why Doesn't Anet Flush the TP of Old Posts?

I think only the prices that are under minimum value should be “flushed”, but not any that are at least minimum price. The latter could theoretically still undergo a sale/buy transaction someday.
I personally am watching some of my old orders, so i know that i wouldn’t want them to be auto-deleted.
