  1. Sure, why not? I love the idea of getting to go into a world of magic and fantasy honestly. Now would I be my main PvE character, the commander of the pact? Haha...no. But would I love to be one of my sassy little asuras blinking around the map and messing with people as a mesmer or studying the magic of the elder dragons corruption as Bwiff my healing tempest? Absolutely. I don't wanna be on the frontlines fighting an elder dragon mind you but I think I could carve out a happy life in Tyria and enjoy my time there.

  2. Few different reasons but the main reason I've stayed around this long is I've been on NSP since the games launch and I found a great guild I enjoy spending time with. I keep playing just because I enjoy spending time with them for the most part and we have fun together. Other than that...

    * Shoving people off cliffs is always fun

    * Golem rushes because it brings back such fond memories lol

    * Porting into keeps and getting called a hacker because enemies still don't sweep, plus port bombing enemies. Even if ANET takes my one remaining dodge I shall continue to play mesmer!

    * Being annoying. Disabling siege even when I know a towers lost, putting supply traps down, building siege golems and trebs to defend camps, wasting all the supply before an enemy can cap an objective, general sneaky shenanigans, etc.

    * The randomness of it all. Sometimes I run around WvW as a quaggan or a giant snowball and sure, most of the time a ranger will pew pew me to death because thats what they do, they press rapid fire, but sometimes a whole group of enemies will go into tonic form with you and just have a fun little impromptu party. I've never forgotten one night where our guild was getting destroyed and I randomly suggested we should all be quaggans and maybe they'd let us pass by. Sure enough we waddled right past the enemy zerg as they waved and jumped around us, until one particularly bitter ele started throwing fire at us but the rest of them were still pretty chill lol.

    * Random events like MM necromancer night or playing a mesmer zerg using the Ascalonian Mage potion so that the entire zerg and all of our clones all looked exactly the same. Its pretty funny.

Off topic I know but did your name come from the Seven Realms series by Cindi Williams Chima?

I've made 45 characters so far because its what I enjoy doing in this game and I'm working on 2 more right now lol. I typically choose something I want to use and then work on finding a look to compliment it. My most recent looks revolve around the new Mythic Skins that you can get from the appearance packages in the game and the new Dreamwalker Staff Scythe skin. Heres a few of my boys below, apologies as I am terrible at taking good screenshots. TwT"

    Aw thanks~ <3

He's undergone a few changes but I actually ended up building him around the eyes when I found out that combining the Demon Masque starter item on Necromancer with certain eye features when creating a character could give him dragon eyes! >:3

Always nice to meet other portal mesmers. Love running into people on jumping puzzles, I've had many a fun conversation inside the Chalice of Tears lol. I have mesmers stationed at:

Chalice of Tears in Ember Bay

    Skipping Stones in Southsun Cove

    Spekk's Lab in Caledon Forest

Morgan's Spiral/Dreamdark Enclave in Caledon Forest

Not So Secret in Gendaren Fields (Goggles and chest)

So I'd be happy to help as well if anyone is ever in need of a hand~ =)

  7. Hello everyone~

I know many of us have a good bit more time on our hands recently and I've noticed a good few people in game trying to take on bigger projects and complete things while they have the time. Because I've seen quite a few people needing it this week I just wanted to offer to help anyone in need of the following jumping puzzles:

Chalice of Tears in Ember Bay

    Skipping Stones in Southsun Cove

    Spekk's Labe in Caledon Forest

Morgan's Spiral/Dreamdark Enclave in Caledon Forest

Not So Secret in Gendaren Fields (Goggles and chest)

The Chalice of Tears in particular I've helped a few people with this week who are trying to pursue Aurora but if you are in need of any of the above puzzles and would like assistance I would be more than happy to port you free of charge. Just whisper or mail me in game and the next time I'm on I'll do my best to hook up with you and get you what you need. ^^

I am on NA just so people know as well.

I personally have 45 characters and have leveled 43 of them exclusively from tomes of knowledge I got from playing WvW and PvP lol. Tomes have been a big help to me since I rarely ever PvE. X3

You could always get your mesmer ported by another mesmer and then park them there. For instance get ported to the end of the Not So Secret jumping puzzle in Gend. Falls and then offer ports to people there or accept a port for a daily JP and then stay there for the next time it appeared on the daily rotatation, etc.

    > Yeah - but not everyone is a Mesmer. [There are other ways to make gold. ](https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/gw2-best-way-to-make-gold)

Well there's your problem, be a mesmer. Lol jokes aside it really is a fun class to play and so useful utility wise. I play a lot of fashion wars and so whenever I make a new light character I typically make a mesmer. I'm up to 12 right now and I park each of them at a different JP to help people out in game. =)

    > Basically, finish LS4 before attempting Chalice of Tears or Abbadon's Ascent, and they're much easier.

Yah but then I gotta go through the effort of practicing _and_ getting Skyscale lol. (Though that is interesting to know) I have 12 mesmers so I'll stick to being lazy though. ^^"

    > LOL, I started my mesmer character specifically after watching a video on Chalice. There seems to be no logical reason to even attempt that JP without a memser's portal. I hear what you are saying about the costs of gear vs a port. I'll probably end up buying a port in the end, but I wanted to try, once again, to beat the NSS on my own. It's kind of my nemesis at this point, Chalice not withstanding. I am so used to JP's with my swift ele, that the slow mes really throws me off.

If you do decide you want a port before you pay someone to do it I don't mind doing it for free if your on NA. I have a mesmer parked at both the chest and the goggles at Not So Secret so it wouldn't be any trouble. Feel free to hit me up in game if you see me on or send me a mail and i'll do my best to make sure we get you what you need~ =)

    > It would be cheaper/less hassle to pay for a port (instead of gear/etc). I say this because, having made quite a few legendaries (and getting mounts)--doing some of these JP's are for only the mentally insane.

    >

    > Seriously, if you ever decide to TRY 'Chalice of Tears' JP--please come back to this post and update me on how much hair you have left, lol. I say that because, I am TERRIBLE at JP's--and while NSS JP is tough--I was able to do it--but Chalice---WOW.....designed by the devil himself!

    >

    > In any event. gl mate.

Chalice of Tears is....appropriately named lol. I have 5 mesmers stationed at this jumping puzzle just to help people get through it because it is just such a pain lol and was a big hurdle for a lot of people when that legendary trinket aurora came out.

Hm I feel like I've heard of that one before so I've probably done it at some point. I actually do have a free mesmer right now so I'll try to look into that one next time I'm on and see if its something I can get set up.

Ah I'm so late. Apologies mate, I've been so busy with schoolwork as of late I unfortunately haven't been able to login as much as I would like. If you still need the puzzle I would be more than happy to port you and should be on tomorrow night around 9:30EST and for a few hours after.

  15. Hey friend~

I'd be happy to assist you free of charge. I keep 6 of my mesmers in that puzzle, one for each checkpoint, and can get you through it all to the end without you having to use your teleport to friends. I normally try to check in once or twice a day to see if anyone's in need of help when I can though admittedly I've been a little lax doing so since the story came out. ^^"

Feel free to add me though and when you see me on hit me up and I'd be happy to get you up~ ^^
