    > I actually used to play wow and its raiding experience is really really sad. The different difficulties really belittle the experience, and the content for raiding gets outdated. This is coming from a Mythic raider. It's not fun to raid in wow as it is in guild wars, it's also much more toxic and less forgiving. It's a shame that Blizzard outdates their raids each patch. Also calling players elitist...is elitist. I'm only gold in PvP friend.

My personal experiecnce with WoW's raiding was very pleasant (at least before I quit at the begaining of MoP). I remember that the class dps was much more balanced compared to what GW2 has now, I also couldn't complain much about the the boss' mechanics, the reward system and the skill/gear progression required before accessing heroic raids. It's true that the boss encounters were less forgiving (propably due to the lack of GW2's downed state) but less forgiving is the same thing as being difficult. Otherwise, the toxicity in WoW is similar to what every other multiplayer game has.

By "elitists" I was not targeting to you as a person but I was refering to a certain percentage of raiders with a toxic behavior that turns away casual players from this content. Elitism is GW's raids is mainly caused by two things: Class unbalance and the lack of an easier "intro content" before raids. As long as these two issues aren't adressed properly, less people will get the chance to adapt to this content and the "elitists" will make it even worse by requiring casuals to have the perfect combination of class/gear/skill in order to get them accepeted.

I've already done that few times but the result is the same. Is there anything else I can do?

  3. Leveling is just a small portion of the game experience and most players don't do it too many times with the availability of of tomes and boosts. Anet team "always" seem to be busy working on other stuff so I don't think they will ever bother make the effort to tweak the leveling experince as mentionned in your post (which I did not want to read due to its length).

A piece of advice though: Don't waste your time on such things.

  4. In WvW, Reaper is behind core and scourge in almost every aspect. It may perform a bit well in organized groups, but when it comes to roaming reaper is only good for killing guards, noobs and like 2-3 other specs from other classes.

I'm happy to announce that Cameron Rich, who worked on Fractals during Season Three, will be taking the reins on a new Fractal as he rolls off his current duties. This Fractal will feature a challenge mode. Beyond that, I'm working with the Systems Design team on more plans to keep Fractals fresh and exciting. I'm excited and when everything is ready to share, we'll have more details.

I didn't know about that post. Thanks for the info I feel happier now =)

  6. Ever since the release of Chaos fractal in July 2016, we kept getting new fractals like every 6 months but since Siren's Reef release in January 2019, we had none.

Hopefully, Anet will spare some love to the community that does fracs daily and give them something new and fun to play.

    > Having a block feature that works doesn't just benefit the RP community, though. It's a quality of life thing that anyone can take advantage of if they're being harassed or bothered by any member of the community. Aside from chairs KINDA working sometimes in like... a couple locations, A Net hasn't really done anything for the RP community at all. Been an active member for 7 years now and the chair patch is the closest thing I've seen to a nod at the RP community.

Blocking people's messages already exists in the game but making them invisible is a bit too much to ask for in an mmorpg like GW2.

This wouldn't allow player who play the game normally to understand what's going on with invisible visuals, buffs, lost hp when doing events and killing world bosses. Just imagine that you are playing the game and you start seeing mobs die without knowing what really happened.
