  1. Berserker (Power/Condi) is mostly getting advantage when you are going to PvE, but sometimes in WvW mode people also playing Power berserker in Zerg, they have quite burst damage but you have to know how to play it, because they are build for mostly full damage so squishier than Spellbreaker which usually build for Bruiser type.

Spellbreaker mostly getting advantage when you are going into PvP/WvW, but doesn't mean it's useless for PvE, there are case at fractal when you encounter "No Pain No Gain" instability, Spellbreaker can remove the boon consistently from Adds and Boss. Going open world with spellbreaker is not bad too if you are leveling/world completion.

Of course yes it maybe not that even numbered, I agree with you. Maybe I should've put [Roughly] 100 changes per class, for just rough calculation.

Could you imagine Herald or Chrono using both shield at hand? XD

Agree with this, sadly this is the only option warrior has for condi zerker play, other weapon didn't give much condi.

Axe and GS Power, Hammer and mace CC, Rifle ranged power and mostly single target D:

Shield and Warhorn is kinda defensive option.

  4. In short warrior really need some weapon tweak plus maybe upgrade on the zerk traitline? Like the trait all need you to be in berserker mode, while zerker mode on cooldown you feel like really weak and had nothing. What do you think Lan?

    > Well, if you lose sustain youll need better support from your team, kinda logical, the problem is that warrior isnt a teamfighter in pvp, hes mostly running alone as a sidenoder, where he wont get much group support.

I agree with this... I think even scourge and spellbreaker couldn't even fully strip the boonsoulbeast, I saw boon mirage too, the boon application is crazy, can go 25 might selfbuff.

You know I hope they like change it altogether rather than fixing it, giving warrior some new skills.

Yeah they did. Well this is just fun to watch, on the other side it was like warrior is having protest because of the bannerslave things XD

Deep down though I want them to change banner for something else in case they can't fix it.

  8. Problem with tether is it can only hit 1 target so if you fight against ranger and hit both ranger and the pet, there is chance the pet getting tethered instead of the ranger.

  9. So in other word Warrior need a better elite skill especially for core and zerker, spellbreaker bubble is nice but I am not sure if that could be improved any further, maybe if they give meditation CDR trait.

  10. I think "corrupt boon" and vice versa (scrapper purity of purpose) is the problem here. What if it changes to like, remove boon, then apply maybe torment stacks for every boon removed, then for scrapper maybe cleanse then apply protection (duration increase per condition cleansed)? Of course other classes will need to readjust the boon application too.

    > I've given up playing my ranger. No guild will accept someone who plays a ranger, anet refuses to make them balanced, and I'm tired of being badmouthed.

Again if you play exclusively ranger yes maybe hard to find guild. The trick is you have to have meta classes Choose 1 among 5 (Firebrand, Scourge, Scrapper, Herald, Spellbreaker) the first 3 are most needed. When you are with guild then run meta classes but when you run by yourself just go with ranger.

    > It's expensive to randomly change servers whenever other players harass me for being a ranger. Does anyone know a server that actually wants rangers for WVW? Thanks in advance!

OK first thing first, I should answer and fix something "There is no server who wants ranger for ZERG play in WvW" If you use ranger for dueling or roaming you might be just fine everywhere. The reason players harrass you for being ranger (although they shouldn't harrass you but tell you nicely) because ranger doesn't bring much to the table when it comes to zerg play.

Another reason is the purpose of squad and subparty is to boonshare (especially stability), while ranger doesn't need boonshare. Soulbeast are boonsufficient by yourself thus you don't need to be in squad to function.

    > So why are people complaining about balance if we are almost at a 0 point for build diversity and near max for balance? It's because in the current meta-game there are 2 classes...while there are 9 classes total...which makes 7 classes feel "left out." Anet is probably aware of this class disparity and their response to this is to tone down the two classes which they believe will "free up" the other seven classes. Here is where i believe Anet is making a mistake...in fact where everyone is making a mistake. Balancing the classes is not how to fix the games issues...rather it's reaching an understanding about complex systems, and then acting upon parameters that would change that complex system...one of which is build diversity.

True that 2 class is probably the most consistent in the meta but if you look at closely it's not really 2 right now when it comes to zerg play.

A proper subparty consist of: Firebrand, Scrapper, Herald, Scourge, Scourge/Spellbreaker, generally you want spellbreaker every 2party.

Niche class which can be used to add things: Mesmer (usually driver/commander use this), or maybe someone want to portal bomb play and then Weaver for some Big meteor

So the really left out class when it comes to zerg are: Thief and Ranger.

  14. Yes unfortunately condi berserker is not good at wvw, power is morelikely to use as a burst damage. I am not sure on roaming but on zerg I can assure you using condi zerker vs most zerg is not a good idea, proper zerg has scrapper and firebrand to cleanse your condition, and even worse cleanse from scrapper turning your burning into aegis, which sort of giving them free aegis.

    > > * WvW is getting increasingly hostile to new players. Not many people are willing to teach new players of how things work in WvW, the do's and don'ts. Mistakes in plays are slammed by veterans often. I got my build ridiculed by this diamond ranked commander tag, despite me not being able to afford meta gears at that time. A friend of mine got so turned off by his servermates' ridicule, that he said he will never make another legendary weapon/armor/trinkets, since those are the only reasons he would even do WvW. It got better during the Warclaw's debut, but only for a while.

    > > * You can make a lot of friends and acquaintances in WvW, even more so than PvE. Close guildmates, and just the regulars that you see around and have a chat with, while you get your behind rammed by 50+ man 4 guilds zergs.

    >

    > the general rule of wvw is to zerg. outside of that, is hard. so, i hope you find good friends to wvw with. i myself feel hard to lead when those around me dont follow. is not easy. but when you got your guildmates, it makes the difference.

    >

    > i hope you get your legendary

    >

Yeah I agree with sovereign here, wvw is mostly zerging, well anet provides a map big enough to fight like 30 vs 30, it will be weird not to use it.

About not teaching Kuro,hmmhm... this is a bit tricky you know let's say uh...

For example: someone new come with the soulbeast because they heard soulbeast easy to just pew2 snipe, they join a zerg squad and they placed into party 1 which usually a party for outsider class (thief, ranger). In some case maybe they got kicked because the zerg need a spot for more functional meta class (Spellbreaker, Firebrand, Scrapper, Herald, Scourge) and then the person was like "Why I got kicked?" typically people will like too busy to type long in wvw area, especially when there is action going around, the reply might be short something like "Because your class is not meta." then the person will mostly reply with the attitude of [screw you, I am gonna play whatever I want.] instead of asking "What are meta classes nowadays, can I get build?"

I know it's not easy to create a meta class with full ascended you need few grind, but forcing going with exotic could get instablown though in zerg vs zerg, you have to be patient and quite grind a bit for this full ascended with proper rune/sigil.

Once you create 1 meta class you can start like following spesific commander, listen their call if they have voicechat, make a good play and suddenly you will make a new friends.

Imagine for example you are good at Firebrand or Scourge, once you arrive and joining squad they will like "Ey we got good dps/support now" usually if you continue to perform well applying to wvw guild are easy. You can just follow several commander to see which of the playstyle you prefer, every commander has different call, once you are in the radar they usually can offer guild invite too. From this point if you have extra gear and want to make another meta class wvw you will get another plus point from commander/your guild.

22 Months... almost 2 years and they still don't do something about it? I mean usually if you announce something it will be applied like within a year right? Oh my...

  17. I actually want to know since we already talk about boonstrip and boon corrupt here, also the vice versa condition remove (and in some case convert to boon)

Which are the priority For example 1 person has full boon, another person corrupt/strip 3, which boon take priority?

As well as if a person suffer for all condition and guardian pop F2 skill 5, which 5 condition are removed first?
