In universe where we could only put 3 utility skills. Can't pick all of those must also pick balanced stance to counter CC too.

Try to wait for contact to do this, meaning make sure your group has commited to a push. If they're just pirate shipping, there is no point in wasting tomes.

    >

    > On the other hand if you find your self under a bubble/scourge cloud, your boons will falter, so instead go to tome 2 and cast mantra of potence (elite) to break stuns for you and your allies (dodge if needed to get out) and do skill 2 to clear condis, save the 5 for particularly bad condi bursts. On regroups, if your group commits foward, you want to use mace/shield, for protection and aegis and the bubble to lead a push. Heal as needed

    > As for your other utilities, try to avoid redundancy. Don't use your condi clear mantra when you're in tome 2 and try not to waste your stab (besides "Stand Your ground") in Tome 3.

    > As for the build, replace retreat with Merciful Intervention which is much better for healing or res'ing than retreat. You really don't need swiftness in a zerg either, and also take Force of Will. If you won't use MI for whatever reason, bow of truth has more heals and wall of reflection is more straight forward. Also you should not use dolyak runes and take something with more support, like monk runes or those healing power sets. I actually use Durability Runes because mostly too lazy to regear or bother with unlocking dungeon tracks.

Is there any good way for Minstrel Firebrand to reliably "tag" when zerg vs zerg happening so at least will get the exp from killing player? Or is minstrel firebrand is by design is not really reliable on getting "tag" at zerg vs zerg.

I agree with you, the barrier for new player is already good enough. With buying the expansion you get insta 80 and exotic gear ready for use to hunt, if not satisfied then you can immidiately do VB night meta (zerker gear) and then start some fractal then progress through ascended.

Yes exactly! I actually see the selling point of Gw2 is the WvW. It's rare to find a MMORPG with massive vs massive fight like this, which you can always access anytime.

Sure there are other contents for PvE but, aren't all MMO has raid/dungeon etc2, but rarely has a good Massive vs Massive fight.

Also this massive fight doesn't require you to be on the same guild or so, just roll on and if there is commander just follow the commander.

    > Is warrior still viable for raids and fractals with such a nerf to banners? Would a dps just be better at that point?

Well the old banner is 170 and 255 with talent, but the new one is 100 and 200 with talent. Pretty sure though warrior on raid is condi? Unless they go power warrior which can go to discipline talent to pick up the banner boost.

    >

    > as for doubke invul, mmm power or cindi?

Not exactly reflect just copy, so the condi still on you, but you give the same to enemy.

Anyway put that aside I am thinking that scourge kinda broken because scourges can stack their mark/shade, so if you trigger the mark from 3 scourge then boom more boon corrupt, meanwhile Spellbreaker won't stack their Bubble, they want it spread to cover field as much as possible plus wod is on 90 secs cd, meanwhile scourge's mark/shade is way lower than that.

    > Honestly I just don't understand why Axe and GS are the only Warrior weapons. What about offhand sword? Warhorn? Rifle? Mace? They're bad and need work in areas compared to GS and Axe, which are the strongest Warrior weapons anyway (for power).

Sword is mostly for Condi build, not for power. They wanna buff the power type weapon, so it is normal if the choice go to GS and Axe.

Hammer and Mace is more into CC rather than damage, Warhorn is utility. One thing I agree with you is rifle, it could use some buff or something indeed for ranged power weapon option.

Honestly though I would love to see some rifle buff since this game sometimes not encourage you to be on melee, so it will be nice to have handy ranged weapon on swap.

  8. No, because Warrior must dive to many people and place WoD, and you can always CC him before and interrupt, another thing is WoD only remove boon, yes there is talent damage for it but that damage is very2 low not even hurt, so Spellbreaker can only remove Boon, and if they want to deal damage they still have to hit you.

On the other hand, Scourge mark is ranged, Boon corruption is 2 in 1 job, remove boon and immidiately apply damage/soft cc, and you can't interupt mark since they will apply it first to block choke or something.

  9. I choose to vote "other" because of multiple answer

Population unbalance and coverage : Anet loves BG that's all

Class balance (incl. condi vs. power issue) : Too many fear and cc, and then corrupt boon is issue, it was like 2 job in 1, spellbreaker only remove, they have to come close to deal damage, scourge can just remove and deal damage at the same time.

Another thing is spy: Spy do exist, they love to send people to other side and for example pulling all tactics at keep/smc etc and then let their server easily push, or sometimes they pretend to join zerg on the other side to inform their movement to their server, anet does nothing against this spies.
