    It really isn't though! You must dodge all CC's unless you can eat them with stab, then kite or mitigate the quickness enhanced stuff while trying to apply pressure through an assbucket of boons and the best heal skill in the game.

     

    If you're winning enjoy stealth reset, provided you didn't die or start the fight at 50% hp thanks to it earlier in the opening.

    * Infinite evades or damage mitigation or both (every CC of theirs you have to dodge or stun break otherwise you eat dat sweet perma-quickness deeps burst)

    * Good cc (they have one stun breaker)

    * Absurd burst be it condi or phys (even if you cc them, if you can't pile it on then it's pointless)

    * No stealth (it will be pointless as they literally spam reveal with zero effort)

    * Boon corruption (because they have permanent almost every single boon for 20+ seconds)

     

    Not broken at all btw.

    So, almost like ranger pets? Those never die in pvp situations unless mass nuked by aoes.

    If any dev ever reads this, please seriously consider from a 4k hours ele main:

     

    * Reduce Fiery Greatsword cd to 100 seconds until you rework conjures. **It's the only 180s elite in the game with no way to reduce its base cast cd.**

    * Consider changing the "more hits = less damage" for multi hitting aoes such as meteor shower and lightning storm. It's very frustrating and un-fun as a player to be the only class with this kind of specific nerf.

    * Rework Glacial Drift (weaver scepter air/water). It's the most useless ability in the game. Does no damage, flies very slowly and fizzles mid travel. Not even a projectile finisher.

    * Fix Fiery Frost (weaver scepter fire/water) bugged for 2 years now. It goes randomly on interrupt cooldown when you use it. To this day I don't know if you can use it while facing away from opponents, or only while looking at them (works randomly).

    * Please buff autoattacks for most weapons.

    -------Staff autos are clunky and useless outside fireball.

    -------Scepter autos are clunky and useless except air (only for fresh air resets)

    -------Dagger autos are somewhat better except water and earth being too slow.

    -------Sword autos have pitiful range (130). Please increase it a bit.

    * Trait wise I think ele is okay for now.

    * Some utilities need work like most cantrips. Namely ether renewal, I'd reduce the cast time and also reduce the pulses (5 condis removed instead of 8 which is overkill).

    Well, how do you interpret "anytime soon"?

     

    Could be an announcement for LS5 wrapping the story up then an expansion in 2020. That's 2 years alright.

    The question is: why would they so heavily tease a simple LS5. Did they do something remotely similar for previous chapters?

    Unless the whole thing is ending, in which case I don't think that'd be exciting to announce (rip taimi 4head)

  9. Spoilers for the ending of "The crystal dragon"

     

    I already played the first mission of chapter 6 where it turns out haha everything's good again (only played the beginning out of curiosity before work so if X dies again then lol) but still, this final battle bothered me.

     

    This awful, last minute plan with "oh sonic amplifiers from dredge! that will work for sure... right?" actually works, of course it does. Kralk is losing energy, yeah yeah pour it on go go go hit them hard while the dragon is stunned and everyone else stopped attacking with the spears for some reason and the whole building doesn't collapse either!

     

    WE'RE DOING IT! AHHHHHHH *battle cry* WOOOOO

     

    We're winning

     

    Until we aren't.

     

    Without a single hint, without a single explanation, the dragon decided to lift its head and blast us away. Is it really that simple? This can hardly be considered a plot twist.

     

    This bothered me greatly for some reason. It just seemed lazy, more so than every other forgivable aspect previously mentioned. Do everything right and still lose. I realize hinting something might go wrong also foreshadows a potential failure (something that the writers really avoided and it's understandable) but was this really the right way to do it? I'm sure there were subtle ways to do it like a dialogue indicating the commander not being fully in sync with aurene, or maybe a blue butterfly (lol), or a report while you're fighting that all the zephyrites are dying one by one for no reason, or some mist portal with a voice, idk.

     

    Anyone else agree?

  10. I'm not in NA and I often get an unplayable and inadmissible 130 ping. This is unacceptable. How is this okay for game companies to let their gamers™ be at an obvious disadvantage when the game is supposed to be competitive? I CAN'T DODGE IN TIME.

     

    Put the servers on the house right across the street from where I live. See, there's a place that just happens to be renting and with some refinement it could be adapted into office space VERY easily.

     

    I did most of the job for you ANet, now go on and fix this incredibly crucial issue. Now.

Infact, I'm surprised that you had to mention mobas of all things because single counters tend to be an accepted thing with counterpicking, team comps, large pools of characters and them having primary roles and so on.

     

    Is there really more to holosmith? They cannot be kited or outranged and swim in boons. Maybe a condi corrupt? A scourge gets mauled 1v1 though. Their sustain is also ridiculous, you CANNOT stealth vs them and you certainly cannot run away unless you're a thief.

     

    Holo, kinda like Rev but not as much, has way too many skills that MUST BE DODGED because they do too much damage / cc or give boons. What's the counterplay? Roll a spellbreaker? Try to massively outplay them as thief? Try to outheal them as sw/d weaver?

    My class and build deals with scourges easily. Also, their counter isn't "just cc", you can kite them, condi clear, outrange them, or just simply burst them because they have no blocks, no invuln and no damage mitigation outside 1 stack of stab and autoprot.

     

    Inb4 "lol i was talking about fb + scourg combo"
