  1. No problem. The Wiki is a treasure-trove of all things Guild Wars 2. (You can access it in-game by typing /Wiki in chat, as well.)

I just didn't play until 15-16 days xD. About the ToK on the wiki that you can get from those chests. I thought you could get them in another way .. and the coin buffs thing I didn't know about it .. =0 thanks! Make sure to scroll down the Tome of Knowledge article page, there's lots of ways to acquire the Tomes. (The Tri-key Chest is kind of defunct, now.)
  3. Oh, I see you've been here for some time now, not really _new_; in that case, here's some acquisition methods for Tomes of Knowledge: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tome_of_Knowledge Also, here's some information on Gold find modifiers: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Coin

Whoops. > > Might have been an improvement to have Taimi buzz the Commander on their communicator whenever a quake hit, just to make sure the seismic activity was noticed, even if it was just a quick 'did anyone else feel that?' Really? I've always had 'camera shake' on, and environment sounds up, and I've yet to encounter an 'earthquake'. I have, on the other hand, encountered the 'shaking' in Jumping Puzzles, and the big 'quake' at Megadestroyer each time.
  5. I'd recommend taking the time to level your characters naturally, if they are your first characters for a Profession. It doesn't take much time, in the grand scheme of things, and your characters would be better suited to higher-end content. (Also, you'll soon be swimming in Tomes of Knowledge.) Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
  6. Slot the infusions in gear other than weapons, first? Put an infusion in both weapons? Why would an upgrade component be active on gear you aren't using? If it were, some of them would cancel each other out. Here's some information on cost efficiency and maximizing resistance: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Agony_Resistance Good luck.
  7. There are many tips/workarounds found in the Dev-posted thread, 'Storyline Disconnects'. I'd suggest starting at the end of the thread and working back. Good luck.

  9. _Generally this code indicates that the account has been blocked by the Customer Support Team due to a "security sweep". Contact the CS Team to resolve._ https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Error_code The CS Team allows 72 hours to respond to tickets, after the near-immediate automated response. Make sure to not create duplicate tickets, as that slows the process. Check your spam/junk email folders, if you don't see the automated response. Good luck.
  10. Because the reward for completing many events is so inconsequential (a bit of Gold, some XP, some Karma), I don't even stick around much any more. Just long enough to get participation, and then off to another. Thus, I'm not sure more 'medals' would be enticing. Plus, leaving early promotes better community gameplay in regards to lower-level character-players getting a chance to earn participation.

  12. I believe this only affects one Crafting Discipline. Weaponsmith, perhaps? I know the Chef Discipline still has them.
  13. > @"Aaralyna.3104" said: > To avoid spoilers > > >! The last thing Bangar mentioned for his achievement was that Primordus is waking and he does mention the earthquakes. I am not sure if you need to have this part completed to notice them or if it is for everyone. I haven't experienced it myself yet but I always have camera shakes disabled. I haven't heard the sound of it either while I have the sound on. Maybe dailies isn't long enough to notice any. In short: It has to do with the upcoming Living World episode. It isn't just Bangar that mentions the earthquakes; Taimi talks about them, as well (in the trailer).
  14. This might afford information more to your liking than the Wiki links: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/ Welcome return.

Those of us in the service industry sympathize but you cannot just be absent without major business consequences. Give them scripted answers if you wanna do the minimum but get a dev on these forums more often please. > Toxic players is exactly the reason they need Community manager, most of the kitten shows could have been prevented by someone with communication skills. Also NCSOFT is searching for something like it but it seems they still don't know what the kitten they are doing. They are searching for Game Support Lead, that kinda sounds like COMUNITY MANAGER but not really. > https://us.ncsoft.com/en-us/careers?sort=department#bellevue > They also don't have game director and marketing manager, so this ship is sailing without a captain, Community manager is the least of their problems ATM. Game Support Lead is nothing like a Community Manager. Ever since Michael Henniger left, years ago, no Support Team members ever post on the forums. Also, Gaile Gray took offense when labeled part of the Support Team.

  17. No idea how long you waited for a response, but sending in duplicate tickets slows things, and sends you to the back of the queue. You should, however, have received the automated response almost immediately (unless you used your old email address in the ticket, which means, of course, that's where the automated response would go). The CS Team allows 72 hours to respond to tickets; has it been more than 72 (+hours for duplicate)?
  18. Have you checked your key-bindings (Options)? Perhaps, you accidentally overwrote the 'I' key-bind.
  19. Would that not require more bandwidth, or server space, or something? To always have 2 maps instances available, even if there aren't enough players to fill even one map?
  20. > @"Neolatro.7341" said: > November 11th, 2020 and still stuck. I have emailed with Customer Support 7 TIMES and although they have responded quickly each time, the response is always the same: "we can't help you." There are numerous instances where the player was just given the Hunter's Bane so they could move on, but they are absolutely refusing to do anything about it here. Disgusting, really. Your best opportunity to find an event not stalled is to try immediately after a new release (when all maps are reset), or any other time a new map is created. Good luck.
  21. There are two 'Autoloots', and 'AoE Loot'. OP would need to deselect 'Autoloot - Quick Interact', rather than 'Autoloot - Autopickup'. 'Quick Interact' automatically picks up loot and interacts with (some) Chests.
  22. Yes, there are GW2 newsletters. The latest one was sent around November 5th, 2020. It was the Icebrood Saga: Champions one.

  24. Yes, it is normal, if it is not the first time you've ever run the race. Example: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Roller_Beetle_Time_Trial:_Ghostfire_Run#Daily_reward
  25. You can see the dialogue here, and it's neither a hyphen, nor an underscore. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Down_the_Hatch#Dialogue It's an em dash, also known as a long dash. https://www.btb.termiumplus.gc.ca/tpv2guides/guides/pep/index-eng.html?lang=eng&page=punct_4_hyphens_dashes
