Platinum price drop

Recommended Posts

There's been a general price drop probably due to the duping incident of the server crashes. Amalgamated gemstone have completely crashed as well. Even the mystic coins took a dive. I dont want to bring back the debate but, "those server issues sure didn't affect me ! hue-hueck!"

"so much"?

sell price of platinum ore a week ago was around 1s30c

sell price of platinum ore right now around 1s25c

that is 5c or 4%

https://www.gw2tp.com/item/19681-darksteel-ingot

prices have been trending down since around mid April

Were there any impact from the rollback? Yes there are obvious spots on the platinum ore and darksteel graphs but those were short lived

AG's have been dropping in price since the middle of last year with a short live bump in price around March this year https://www.gw2tp.com/item/68063-amalgamated-gemstone

"middle of last year" is also around the time when Exordium, that legendary weapon was released

legendary weapons are also the main consumers of AGs

As for Mystic Coins you got my hopes up :(

https://www.gw2tp.com/item/19976-mystic-coin "took a dive"? Forget taking a dive. There is barely enough room to dip your toe into

If that is what a taking a dive looks like then I hope all my stuff take a dive ...

There are currently more Mystic Coins in the MOTA Prize pool than there are in circulation. It probably explains the increase over the last two months or so.

Thanks for taking time to dispel the anecdotes and false information spread in this thread. @"Khisanth.2948" .

Good work.

I stand corrected, that's very compelling. Just looking at the prices on the TP, it Simply looked as if these past weeks everything sells for much cheaper than it used to.
