What EXACTLY should I open on a level 50 character for the most profitable loot?

I am getting so much conflicting information about this......

What EXACTLY should I be opening on a level 50 toon for the most profitable loot?

Is it just the Embroidered Coin Purses? Some people are also saying to open Bags Of Gear?....

Anything that scales to character level. Champion Bags/Boxes/etc. Bags of Gear/Loot, etc.

Tier 4 mats are still much more lucrative than Tier 5/6, with the exception of Tier 6 Leather.

The level of the bag seems to be the only thing that matters, I still get only linen cloth from miner bags in timberline falls when opening on my 90, zero silk cloth.

Gear scales and salvages into mats.

Thats not the bags we are talking about its the ones drop from champions not random mobs.

From what I remember OP all those diffent bags work except the ones that always drop Piece of Unidentified Gear like for example

 

Battered Forged Components

Flamestruck Pyxis

Branded Geodermite

Branded Strongbox is another odd one it dont drop either of the lvl gear or unid gear so to get atleast bloodstone dust open on lvl80 if you need that for your eaters.

Anything dropped in LWS 3 and downwards is a safe rule of thumb. Sometimes I get strongboxes from PoF maps that also only yield unid gear and you know how closely those all look.

Yeah I tested it the past couple days, pretty much any bags that drop the unidentified gear bags at 80 will drop weapons or armor in place of the unidi gear for the lower level character.

There are some that always drop unided gear tho
