Dheeraj.2481
I moved to another continent and would like change my world in GW2. I would like to move to a world with the lowest ping rate. Is there a way for me determine that?
Strider Pj.2193
The servers are mostly divided by the two regions EU and NA. Each NA server is located in the same place, figuratively speaking. So are the EU ones. Someone else may know where AWS has their hubs for each region. But within the regions, there would be no difference.
Khisanth.2948
Since there are only two regions the simplest thing to do is to make a free account in whichever region you are not in and see how things perform.

So does proximity really affect ping? Has anyone conducted such study?

Mega server only means that all pve players in the same data center plays on the same map( new maps of that map is open as needed) So all are in the same place no matter if your on nr 1 or nr 55 of caledon forest for example.
