Mopf.1265
I understand that the topic is not very interesting, but many of my friends would like to play Guild Wars 2, but cannot, due to the large amount of complex text. Are there any new localizations planned for the release of the new add-on? At least text :)

Randulf.7614
There was a huge thread asking for Russian localisation last year. It didn’t even get acknowledged so given their previous statements, I think we can rule out any other localisations in the future

Are there any new localizations planned for the release of the new add-on? At least text :) It’s 2020, everyone should be able to understand English good enough to play a video game. No need for more localizations, they should spend their resources on more important things.
Veprovina.4876
Maybe Anet could provide some sort of tools to make community localisations? It would be a massive undertaking by the community, but maybe there's some way for Anet to make that happen, like, give people the in-game text in form of some files you can edit or something, that then "mod" the game on a local level and just affect text. It wouldn't affect voice acting, but text is more important anway.

I don’t think that will happen. They then have to monitor everything, this would take to much resources.

How is the Russian Wiki? I think the Devs would want to see the community's effort there first, before allocating any resources elsewhere.

As for how difficult would be to make the tools required for modding the in game text, that's a different matter. But you're right, it probably won't happen. > @"Dawdler.8521" said: > *Replaces every Rytlock and Logan dialogue interaction with a heavy romantic undertone* Haha, well, that's the point, you theoretically could do that.
