Listening to people complaining about bouncing off the top, motion sickness, and average jumpers unable to complete it. I thought this was supposed to be a fun event but this is NOT FUN! After watching people complain for 4 years you would think they would do something about it. One player felt they sped it up this year and after watching older youtube videos, I tend to agree. There is even another achievement for the real final back piece that REQUIRES you to craft the skins because you can only get one set from the achievements but this one requires all the different weight skins. I couldn't enter the area with the tower again. I left the whole instance, entered again, same problem. Then I left and never tried again because I try to avoid broken content. Are you aware that there is a wait for starting it? There would have been a thing on the side of the screen indicating how long on the wait is left. I hate doing stuff i dont want to and are designed to make me angry. Everything should be handed to me instead or be tied to something thats not annoying, for example eating some candy corn. Chay.7852 Posted October 28, 2017 Share Posted October 28, 2017 The clocktower was for me a love/hate thing.. i needed 3 hours to "learn" it on my first attempt and meanwhile i can do it first try. And im a JP-noob.. i am really not good at jp's. My advice to everyone who wants to succeed in the clocktower is: find your race to jump (mine are sylvari or humans for example but i know other ppl prefer asura) and learn it step by step. Each step brings you further since you know when you fall why you fell and you can do it better next try. And maybe the most important thing, dont give up! :) Because after you "learned" it you will realise that its like riding a bike, you won't unlearn it. Do people really wait in line to do a JP that is in an instance? Sorry, if that's true I still consider it broken and will stay away from it. Point being, all content needs unique rewards, otherwise content risks dying. If you like something from content you don't like you can either stuck it up like an adult, or just do something else.
