You can read more about ANet's plans for supporting the API here: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/26045/update-about-api-communications Short story: the single dev responsible for supporting its day-to-day needs got a well-deserved promotion & ANet has a new long-term strategy for maintaining & improving the API, that they haven't finalized yet.
