What Cynn meant to point out is that it's not from some lame anime, but actual Asian mythology. The link provided was for the kitsune article, but it could just as easily have been a link to the kumiho article. Different name because of the different country, but still the same entity. What's wrong with a little information on the background of this mythological creature? You might not be interested where all those creators based their nine-tailed canines on, but some people are.
