Game of Bones.8975 Posted June 23, 2018 Share Posted June 23, 2018 I have two that come in for a close first and second place: Remember when people thought mounts would ruin gameplay, but now people are asking for new mounts, new skins, and new abilities for their mounts. Remember when gliding was restricted to HoT? It was nice, but not really considered a "form of transportation". The final event of the weekend was to escort Rytlock Brimstone through Ascalon to the Brand. Hundreds of players followed Rytlock. We could see Kralkatoric flying above us. Was very cool and epic. Then suddenly he branded players right there beside you as he passed overhead. First just a few then more and more. The branded players were hostile and could attack non branded. This reminded grandpa of a story so I have a general mmo remember when: In WOW when they first started debating cutting down the level needed to get a mount from 60 to 40 people were certain that it would not only ruin the game but their lives also. One guy go arrested for threatening to find and kill other posters, several others threatened to kill themselves and many many more alluded to it.
