That's not a bad idea but I think you should only be able to combine completed tomes, otherwise it defeats having to create the full tome in the first place.

The longer I play this game the more I miss these options to alter how other players look on my screen:

 

* Enable default Class-Skins

* Enable default Gliders

* Enable default Mounts

* Disable other players Infusions

* Disable other players Back-items

* Disable other players Animations/Skill effects

 

For the last year or so, I've been playing with the "Model Limit: Off" so all other players appear as walking potatoe sacks.

 

While that works for me, it's not optimal. You can still see all the silly looking gliders, mounts, and backpacks, with every silly color. As the saying goes, there is nothing more immersion breaking in games than other players.

 

As such ANet, would you please consider this to be your next QoL focus?

* Class-Skins = like the standard models for competitive modes, just replace the skins only, so I can still see the difference between characters. Alternatively just put everyone in town clothes outfit.

* Gliders/Mounts = the default skins with default colors.

* Animation/skill effects = all the flashy lights and effects, so I can see the enemy when more than 5 players are nearby, so I can see enemy tells. Keep aoe's, but I don't really want to see tons of blinking lights.

I require an update for guild halls decos. Instead of being Guild-bound, they should be soul-bound. Let me explain:

1-Maybe, some players like me, spendt over 300g making gh decos alone to decorate their little homes in guild halls. Since they invested such a big amount of money, (~800 gems) it will be just deserved that they are soul bound. It will not require them to re-craft all of them from 0 when switching guild.

2-Security. Recently, they are trolls (speaking for us) that change decos/ remove decos they don't own, having each deco with a tag like the owner will solve that, making it soul-bound, will make those only editable by who put them. And only them can move / remove them.

3-Turning it into soul-bound consumable can after open doors to the ability of putting them in our home instance as example in addition of guild hall.

4-No need anymore of those decorate button and that tab within guild icon. It free space for an eventual better tab.

5-Possibility to interact with the deco to see the owner.

Suggestion:

- Logistics +5 to +25 Infusions.

 

Reason behind that is simple. Some Profession like Engineer and Revenant do not have passive abilities to have 25% increased movement speed. Unlike for example Thief with Signet of Shadows. To compensate the lack of 25% movement speed, which is really good thing to have in event like Ley-Line Anomaly, we have to use something like Rune of Fireworks and give up benefits of Rune of Scholar ( for ex. ), or be dependable on boon duration and swiftness.

 

Logistics can be special infusion like Swim Speed infusions. Only gear that can host this infusion will be boots.

P.s. 'Logistics' refers to Heroes of Might and Magic, trait with similar name gives your hero faster movement speed on land.

Please please please!

- Make it so that Kashmeer's outfit on female asura and charr show the female version (it looks so pretty and given the other really pretty female-on-asura-versions such as the winter solstice outfit it would be very exciting- btw I love the fact that the winter solstice and fancy winter outfit are female on female asura, it turns the asura into the most adorable cupcake and is very pretty & that the fancy winter outfit is female on female charr, it looks great.).

- make it so that winter solstice outfit on charr (female) is the female version (it's prettier). (much approve of the fancy winter outfit being the female version on charr it looks great!) [basically, most outfits with the exceptions of noble courtier and noble count on female charr, it would be nice if it was the female version. I think noble courtier and noble count look good with the male version on female charr though. ]

- Make it so that the shoulders are hide-able on the Imperial outfit (like the bird and fan thing at the back) so it becomes like a cool old school traditional chinese dress * u *

I am neutral towards the others but I love the library idea! We could have one in home instance? :) The lore is some of the best parts of the game!

**A simple improvement on the build system for the sake of ease...**

Simply to add a small checkbox in the build and equipment tabs when you own both of same number (for example equipment tab #1 and build tab #1).

If you check the checkbox it should be checked at same time in both equipment and build tabs of same number, and then both tabs are linked...

If you change to a checked equipment tab, then automatically the system changes also to the linked build tab (or viceversa).

If there are mistakes in my explanation plz understand that English isn't my main language ^^

Four Black Lion Salvage Kits (25 uses) to get a Large Black Lion Salvage Kit (100 uses)

**A new tab for the Black Lion Exchange Specialist NPC**

If you bought more than one Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic years ago, now, the shared inventory slots make them useless (I have four of them). Also, you could get tired of any non-novelty BL item that you don't use anymore and it is already unwanted. Also, someone could gift you through gem store an unwanted or already owned item. Then a new tab in that NPC could give you Black Lion Statuettes in exchange... (PLZ)

I like to display certain armour pieces in one set, but not the other.

● A quick gear change in hud underneath the mount shortcut key, rather than having the novelties one.

● Novelties shortcut should be away from skills and mounts, probably somewhere next to the top left. Could have a mouse pointer hover effect, rather than clicking to open, as the selectable area currently is way to small.

 

● Mount quick select.

I've seen videos on youtube of people using some sort of mount select.

All you do is hold a single button, and a circle comes up with all mounts, then you have to press the direction to select the one you want.

There could be an official one.

Right now I can't select all of the mounts as I'm out of accessible shortcut keys.

I can't select Roller bettle or Warclaw.

There are times that the bettle comes in handy for speed, but I can't select it right now using a quick button press.

 

I know you guys are really busy with balance updates and working on next episode, but...

Please consider.

Add Double Click with Left Mouse Button on party member's name in party\squad UI for 'Join map' instance change ( taxi ), if that member is in another map instance.

 

Spamming Double Click on party\squad member name will be much comfortable than rightclick-choose 'Join map'-repeat. Especialy if you are trying to break into full map instance.

First I have to say THANK YOU for adding a Guild space in LFG! And a thank you for finally adding in the LWS4 Tome. Given the recent post from [Mr. Gray](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/97028/a-message-from-andrew-gray) and future "expansions" the number of portal's, tome's passes etc. will begin to outnumber the number of shared inventory spaces. Now this may not matter to a large number of players but there are some of us (like myself) who glob trot around playing different content going form map to map meta's to meta's for various reasons and causes. While WPing is available it's costs start to add up to gold rather fast when you talk about going from say Sandswept Ilse to Bitterfrost or Marches multiple times. So the portals, tomes and passes become a cost effective method of cross map travel. I'm glad that tomes were added to the game, moving forward I'd like to reiterate my concept of a "scroll bag" or "Tome Chest" that would be a shared bag slot, sure change it for gems too, that we could store ALL our Tome's, Passes, or Scrolls both temporary and permeate.along with other "Gizmos". _Not a bag with individual slots shared._

 

Add Shared Bag Slot, It would accept any current bag and but only holds Tomes, Scrolls, Passes and Gizmos.

That new still water fishing rod staff. **PLEASE.** Mystic toilet recipe with a basic inventory bag to have a version of it with a bag pouch on the hook. It'll be the funniest thing on a Daredevil in WvW.

 

Maybe achievements or rewards for pushing your mastery point gains beyond the full requirements of a section of the game's content. Even if it's just titles.

How about adding content like an whole relation-system?

Marriage, Family, Friends etc. with everything giving some buffs

 

Marriage gives an free port every hour to the partner,

Friends give Karma

Family gives Magic find

relative give experience-bonus

 

and so on. Its something many of the community would like to see ingame and i think it would also get back many of the players that went away long time ago.

SUGGESTION (!!!)

- Add a Guild Enhancement Gizmo, that will serve as portable Merchant and will allow to change Guild Buffs provided by [Nathan the Bartender](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Nathan_the_Bartender). Gizmo will have price of [Guild Commendation](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Commendation) and will be sold by Guild Vendor.

 

Idea here to allow players to change Guild Buffs ( Magic find to PvP reward Track, WvW Exp to WvW Reward Track, etc... wihout the need to visit the Guild House, which can be annoying )

Another method of automatic change of Guild Buff could be addition of special Guild Enhancement Infusion slot in amulet.

For example. Once Amulet with 'Guild Enhancement Infusion: Magic Find' will be equipped ( from inventory or by changing templates ) it will activate [Guild Enhancement: Magic Find](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Enhancement:_Magic_Find). If amulet with 'Guild Enhancement Infusion: World Experience' will be equipped. it will activate [Guild Enhancement: World Experience](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Enhancement:_World_Experience).

 

Guild Infusion could require additional Guild upgrades, and activation will happen only if those upgrades are present in currently represented Guild.

Not a suggestion to the game but rather the forum: Please make it possible to block people on the forums so they can't interact/harrass someone in any way. Several incidents about people telling me to kill myself (and that is only one of the minor example of what was actually going on) over a simple question back in the old forums are the reason why I'm scared to even say anything on the German version of the forums. Despite reporting these people back then nothing has ever happened. I don't want to feel uncomfortable all the time and I think many others would like to see a change like that too.

I have been playing with an elementalist for months with 2 weapons that needed sigils, and only just noticed now out of sheer luck.

In cases like me that has just shy of 30 characters, it's hard to keep track of all of them.

 

● Also that message could be for equipped gear that is bellow level 80 on characters that are lvl 80.

(Account bound) skin items in your inventory should be exchangeable for transmutation charges if the skin is already unlocked in your wardrobe.

Achievements and other actions that reward you with both an unlock and a skin item should only do one of those or, again, give the option to exchange that item for a charge.

 

Most recent case is the Ancient Boreal weapons that you can buy from a vendor and doing so will give you the wardrobe unlock and place a skin item in your inventory at the same time. If I don't want to use the item, i'd like the option of exchanging it for a transmutation charge, My only option now is deleting them and I hate deleting usable items. (I have the full set for the achievement, but I don't want to all my characters to run around with Ancient Boreal weapons...)

That would make it FAR too easy to obtain transmutation charges then.

I'd accept them doing it for gem store skins that you have purchased but don't want to skin an item with it yet, but even then that isn't really fair to do either.

They are meant to be somewhat rare to obtain unless you buy them or open a lot of chests or do a lot of map completion.

Fair enough, I have a lot of Transmutation Charges from the login rewards. I don't use them that much and I assumed they are fairly easy to come by. But, then have the items be salvageable into something that is not a Gem Store item.

Again, this is purely a convenience thing, as I hate to delete items.

Here's another minor one:

Naming convention of inventory bags or adding a short description of the functionality which appears in the tooltip even when slotted. Better yet, let us give the bags unique names before placing them into a bag slot. It's a minor gripe and only if you use different types of bags and have a large inventory. All of those apply to me, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
