So Anet, in their infinite wisdom, listened to these whiners, and killed all XP, rewards, and fun from EOTM.

Majority of the players that use to play EoTM either quit the game all together or stay in PvE land. So rather than let the pve folks experience a WvW type game mode (with reduced rewards) they tried to force these folks into the wvw game mode. Well, at least now WvW folks cannot whine that a EoTMer have the same a high rank and/or gear that the WvWers have now.

Has eotm had all of its rewards removed? No. Which makes your argument invalid. It was also unfair to get more wvw rewards in eotm than in actual WvW, without doing any actual WvW. Karma, huge amounts of wxp by constant decapping /recapping, fast levelling. The map is still there, you can get WvW reward tracks and wxp and karma still. Why is it dead?

Thankyou for proving with these two sentences that fully spawn camping every single map is impossible. xD

Duellers do not stomp each other. Their participation comes from idiot's that try to add in after being asked not to.

I'd point a finger at those who, deliberately for participation or because of ignorance, spend all day repairing trebbed walls.

People used eotm to level characters, I used it for a couple characters, they removed gaining regular exp but you get a ton of tomes of knowledge and you get birthday boosters that can boost new characters to 20 30 40 etc, so that argument is void.

They also used it to get quicker wxp for levels, it was quicker because it was usually a ktrain constantly making the rounds around the map. People got thousands of "free" levels which is harder to come by in the actual wvw maps because more defending actually happens so ktrains don't usually last. There use to be full ktrains on fridays by all 3 sides when a match was pretty much done and waiting on reset by servers, but over time that got broken up and died off.

People currently don't run eotm because of the pip rewards which you can only earn contribution for on the wvw maps, which just goes to show how much people followed the trail of rewards instead of actually wanting to play in eotm.

I don't think it's too much to ask for people to play actual wvw to earn wvw only rewards, it's no different than having to run fractals, spvp, and raids for their exclusive rewards including skins and back pieces.

Nobody is asking for wvw rewards as the map was populated 80% by uplevers, that honestly never used the wvw stuff because they went there I found out it was not as fun as eotm.

So... Turn a wvw lobby map into a pve map for... What exactly? Doesnt pve already have plenty of grind maps of its own?

ANet removed crafting stations because they want to sell those special access passes (example: Royal Terrace). There's no reason to buy one of those when you could just press "B" and pop into your home BL to access crafting, bank, TP, etc.

It had nothing to do with players complaining about crafters in WvW. Seriously, I played back then and almost never saw players at the crafting stations.

He might be, but he never answered.

And if that were truly the case? He can get it through EoTM if he wanted.

If people really thought eotm ktrain sandpit land was that fun why don't guilds still exist like the ones that rigged most matches? reward track, wxp/karma etc is still there for any pve player that really wants it. Literally free real estate. Don't even need to worry about the big bad wolf come knocking on your door.

If people innit for WvW shinies then join the zerg in WvW since according to forum-goers zerging in WvW is pretty much ktrain easy mode brainless anyway.
