The third obstacle is that he didn't "ditch" it, he's left it aside, for now, “It’s just a sword. It’ll be here when I get back.” He just no longer feels the need to jealously carry it everywhere.

I left my car in the car park this morning, I didn't ditch it. “It’s just a car. It’ll be here when I get back.”

The fourth obstacle is that the legendary greatsword has probably already been designed and mostly completed by now.

We won’t get swords as greatsword rewards.

I am curious what happened to Sohothin after To Kill The Beast, but i assume it might’ve gotten lost at balthazar’s death.

As for Magdaer, it’s in the void, the non-existent blacksmith, waiting to picked up by the now dead Eir.

I know anet has done it already several times, but i’m always intrinsically against anything that is to be considered unique/one-of-a-kind to become publically available loot.

Oh, he took it back.

I just thought it kinda disappeared in thin air as we killed Dramathazar.

More to the point, https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fiery_Dragon_Sword exists as a HoM reward, and looks just like them.

To be fair, the current version of Sohothin (since PoF?) looks slightly different in design (I prefer the Fiery Dragon Sword's design). And agreed, I wouldn't like a similar skin to be introduced to all players in the game, since it's a HoM reward.

I mean yes im aware they are sword but sohothin is kind of a big sword (looking at the art from the new story).

As for the second, i want aware the element of magdaer was fore too, still it had this blue white colour which resembled water/ice.
