what new prof to play

i like to main a new prof for each new big update, so i mained rev for hot and holo for pof and also played core thief/drd and war for big amount of time.

for new saga, i want to play a new norn character.

what i have in mind is scourge, fb and weaver.

i find scourge mechanically easy tho it's really hard to position itself

and weaver and fb im just completely new to

Go weaver, it's awesome. Not meta, but now we can adjust a little and it's fun. It's basically never boring.

Agreed for weaver. Scourge and FB are very monotonous, static playstyles. Weaver is close to thief.

Firebrand has very high build diversity. Power FB is one of the best for ranked. Weaver is also good at ranked but has no build diversity as well as not even meta yet. Scourge is very hard rn for solo q and is unplayable at times

I picked Scourge, not for Condi but for DPS. I came across a DPS Scourge the other day and it was wrecking stuff

Well I cannot answer your question easily without knowing more about what you want. First of all, by a grimm mistake, you played engineer. Everything else compared to it will feel limited. Engineer is the wizard of gw2, he can do everything. Thus no matter what you do, you will be lacking at least 3 possible solutions that can be provided by engi.

 

But I would advice you to play scourge and feel the relaxation for once. It is easy, but tricky. Strong and fun to use.

 

No matter what you do, if you played engi more than 3 months, you will be back :)
