The tree thing was pretty daft, too. Now you just look for the guild markers for trees, so that is better. :)

The keys have no relation to the jumping puzzle and vista other than being in the same general area. The entrance to the jp is actually directly before the key part through an obscured tunnel to your left. You need to do the first couple of jumps to cross the first wall, but after that you are free to swim and walk all the way to the vista.

Oh, I thought you needed the keys to open the area up. On one character I got teleported in for the vista, and came out the tunnel to get the POI by the key lock. I was unable to go back in.

I may try the first couple jumps to see if I can get far enough in... I did not want to waste keys in case I messed it up. I seriously hate jumping puzzles. I cannot see the supposed 3D depth on a 2D screen. At least GW2 is not seizure inducing like some others I have played (like Star Wars: Dark Forces - that would lay me out quick ha ha)

Nope. I liked Hearts.

No

Getting rid of solo progress hearts and replacing with community events with actual fun design and large reason to get together, was amazing. I feel that this is exactly what the game needs, to be perfectly honest.

Playing through Bound By Blood was the first time I had ever completely neglected to even check what rewards I was receiving because the game content was that engaging & fun to play through.

In my opinion, Bound By Blood might actually be the best content with the best direction, that we've seen yet.

A single example of this, is how being in the Charr lands with such focus on Charr, was the first time players really felt like "They were in hostile territory." The way the immersion was done, made the Charr feel beastly again and dangerous on an RP level. The same can't even be said while traversing territory against dragon minions.

In my opinion, everything was done right here.

Now we just need more content to focus on the other races & territories in the future, just like Bound By Blood.

I personally love the map. I love the lack of hearts and enjoy how unique some of the events are like the target shooting. I enjoyed the long list of achievements to work on as well. And on top of all that we finally get a story involving the Charr for once and an awesome concert that required a lot of time and effort to implement. For an update labeled a "prologue" I think they gave us far more than was needed.

Some people just aren't happy unless they're upset about something.

I completely agree with you, I loved the map and the story! It actually encouraged me to create a Charr to play through the personal story so I could see more about their lore, and it was cool!

I also loved the design of the events in the area - there is a real mix of things to do, not just "escort x" or "kill x" or "defend for x minutes". The Metal Concert has to be the best designed event in the game imo.

And this is just a prologue! I'm super excited to see what the actual episodes bring to the table, I hope they're on the same level and don't take too long to release (I'm expecting November, I really hope it's before next year).

The only criticism I have is how easy the WvW/PvP reward tracks made it to unlock *everything*. I understand them having the achievement "meta" reward (the emote) but the Metal Legion Shirt thing went from an expensive collection to just a timegate.

Except it doesn't because said people have never had a 5 star meal.
