Yep they (Anet) did , ALL sources of Gem Cards (Canada) disappeared from all the places they were available (including Amazon CA which only has the cards from 3rd party vendors that are selling (stealing) at inflated prices). I really doubt that walmart, best buy, eb, amazon etc colluded to not carry them.

I never had that happen to me. Many ways to get to a meta on time.

The Alliances announcement being one of those things that some forum posters just won't let go. It's easier for Anet to release something with a modicum of fanfare than to suggest/announce something that doesn't show and then get kittened on by the forums for it.

    > That and I really don't think they care at all.

How hard is it to make announcement and/or a final response or update then lock the thread , but I completely agree with the second bullet about caring.

I disagree with the misguided direction the game is going, but never have I considered that the game is dying or dead.

Who the heck is 'everyone'?? Stop playing if 'everyone' is not playing. Maybe you are listening to wrong 'everyone'. Some of the responses seem to confirm you are listening to wrong advice.

Not really because you could interact with her and she would actually post and engage in the forums(and in the game as well with an ANET tag on), something that those with the infraction powers wouldn't do (or were prohibited from doing).

I meant one of the faceless and nameless ones that I really can't speak about because of TOS and infraction policy. Gail was never one of those IMHO

Supply Foreman Alan and Sayida both say that the Pepperseed escort is complete. Every 20 minutes the Waasma event will pop and regardless of if it gets done or not, Pepperseed never shows up again.

I guess it is in the DCTF pile.

Agree, It's been covered in the past here. No need to revisit. And the OP hasn't even bothered to revisit and comment, which tells a lot.

    >

    > I don't think that Anet has addressed this point one way or another; however, I believe that you pretty much have the gist of it. I believe that Anet thinks people won't want to spend money for shinies if they can't show them off. Forcing other players to see them is how that works.

As long as you can see own, that's all that matters. I would still get bling for my own enjoyment, as many others would. Having them to show off in hubs and cities would be sufficient and a good compromise (can't disable effect there) If all one wants to play the the game to fulfill some fashion fantasy and actually ruin the game for others, then they need to reflect on and change their priorities.

Nope strikes did not trick me (don't know about others)into trying the elitest raids. No thanks, I hope Anet goes back to their roots.
