The weakness of a Vanilla Virtue is really what forces Tomes to have such modest effect. Were basic virtues to be puffed up in such a way they'd need to subtract from Guardian in other place it would mean more of our power could be derived from our class ability, which would be great. :)

Anything that ends up with Tomes becoming engineer toolkit facsimiles really <,<

Problem 4 Lag

You can tell when a Condi heavy group zones in, the map starts to run poorly. When all those conditions start flying it messes with a glass power build in a major way.. There's no room to eat a tick in a power build, It's so reliably bad on reset now that I don't bother and play something else.

I despise those yellow numbers.

Firebrand needs something, no doubt. But more barrier for the zerg.. ugh.

I don't think it'll add nearly as much to guardian 1v1 as it'll disrupt WvW further. The blob always seems to get stronger -_-

I did the same, finally rolled a warrior.

Playing one right after the other, (6k hours guardian, .01 hours warrior here), really does emphasize the disparity between and leaves one in serious doubt the balance team did likewise.

I can agree they've become more focused on generating pve content to feed the the ever-unsated pve consumer crowd, and why they're doing it if it's really 90 percent of his customers wanting, it makes sense they would.

But I think Mr. O'Brien is misunderstanding something. While I am part of that big number consuming both offerings I am by no means a customer of pve. I may do some PvE, but it's the least unique part of the game. When it comes to single player stories.. well.. pretty much every non mmo does it better. It's an mmo thing, specialist always beats generalist in the specialist's area of expertise.

No, the thing that got my wallet out was WvW, the thing that's kept me buying is the combat. Which I have to disagree with the.OP about, when it comes to the combination of balance, diversification and combat gameplay this game is easily the best mmo at it, and I have played a ton of these things since they invented them. What I do agree with OP on, is that this achievement seems undervalued by Mr. O'Brien and, had a bit more resources gone to maintaining that top-notch fighting and PvP/WvW development and balance, that crowds might still be flooding his queues like they were five years ago.

Instead they're starting to look more like a WoW clone, which is a just plain weird thing to do post release imo.

Maybe a body of water with 3 things to destroy protected by krait that activates a quaggan shrine of some elemental force like lightning?

For blasting, in PvE at least, I've been farting around with the spirit hammer.

Works pretty well as it can be summoned with a tome out. Add in Zeal and you get 3 charges.

Not so practical for PvP but hey, neither is Firebrand
