  2. Who the hell spams #5 anyway? Still going to use it because porting up onto ledges are life saving moments. Sb is a very expensive weapon but still 1 of the best utility weapon out there.
  3. See it more of a buff tbh. Channaled bubble gets interrupted- 80 sec cd. Casting bubble gets interrupted, 4 sec cd. Most of the time you stand still anyway since people drop lines/fear rings on them selfs when enemy bubble is dropped
  4. I guess too many went shadow arts for the +1 while in stealth, at least for wvw anyway. Been a few changes in Initiative usage on weapon skills lately

Times have changed. Population issues and bandwagoning result in lots of servers doing smallscale fights 80% of the week. So it's 80% prime time for thieves and rangers. It really isn't. It's only servers like wsr/sfr and maybe gandara that actually has a grp of thives and they mostly play around smc. Since the link ups starter we can say that nearly everyone has faced each other now and in some cases actually link with every other server and in that 2 year (is it 2 years now?) I once not seen dedicated thief/ranger grp, there are far better small scales classes to have team fights with.
  8. Funny you say this epidemic considering neither are meta and really have no space in a zerg so the only thing left is to roam/gank. What about the mindless necros/revs/engines in zergs spamming a few skills here and there?

Meh, that's just d/p... thief by default, stay around for too long and the fight turns the other way which is why most thieves run away from a losing fight lol. Shadow arts it self dosnt really make them quicker at anything really, you could argue that they can get quicker stealth access via heal and steal trait. Also to partly blame is runes and trait that give health so a lot of people are going full zerker stats (add some valk/berseker trinkets) which would give them 11k health then they add runes like vampirism and marauders resistance and you should be back up to 16k health or above. Daredevil and shadow arts, especially combined is a busted set of trait lines. Cant imagine 20k in today's wvw, may be with 7 malice stacks and assassins signet de? I know vaults can still land up to 14k giving the right scenario.

Pretty sure pre Feb patch that same hit would be around 9k+

Either way nothing is balanced properly if you need to carry traps in order to engage or to fight. Like i said at the beginning thief isn't the only problem invisibility and how it paired to other skills is what makes it OP and the skill itself is becoming too common in class builds, so that is the really problem. > > No one should need traps.   20. I laughed pretty hard once when I found a holo who was afk, (before the nerf to passive invul trait) by the time he died he had 18 stacks of might!!! Prot regen swiftness all just being afk.
