  1. I'm up for something like that, like the previous guy say, not even need to be related to endgame, it's will be a way to let players discover how the build/damage work, and let them try new things with new builds.
  2. The devs did not intent that condi players should not be able to destroy the objets... It's just that before HoT Condi build was not really a thing since there was no real way to create them (lack of stats and skills from existings weapons), the only real condi class we got was burn gardien and the cap for condition was 1 by condi. That why object did not take condi, because they did not predict that they will be condi build in the future, they just forgot to update the objets when they introduce them. You can see that as most of objets that do not take condi are from core.

What happened to kekai and their beautiful designs? Really ? i play 1-2 hours by day not even farming, only playing what i like and can still do 1 legendary item every 1-1. month and buying cash items with gold conversion. How is that prestigious.. And don't worry even if the next shiny will be really easy to get people will still use it...

As for infusion, some of my character have them but never more than 1 (or 2 in the past for one my of char)) because it's still go well with some fashion (only a few infusion i don't like the infusion that change your skins .....).

There is no real way to rewrite to update ithe dx version except to redo the whole render code base, even the sader of all models if it's not modular (which is surely the case with a mmo like gw2). And all of that for what ? dx12 will not magicly fix your fps, it's just different and better for new hardware that it without speaking about all the issue that gonna happend if they update it to dx12 because a change like that will implement so many bug for years, there is so many others way to optimise game.

Asking for an option to turn the effect is fine, but complaining that it's aenet fault that everyone wear glowy out of lore shits is stupid, yes they made it but it's the player that choose to wear them not areanet, and where you can understand that some prestigious items that people will want to wear them just to show of, nowday a lot of shits that glow is not even prestigious item anymore and are easy to get, (just look at most of wings, cat ears and all others). Specialy when there way more classic skins than shining one by a large marge. Sorry but one of the problem that this gave have for "lore fashion related to your class or character" is that there is only generic gear that look nice or not. There is no class gears or things like that, which mean that if you're lucky you can find gears that fit your character's lore with a lot of testing (choose the right gears and colors) or just make a set of gears which go well with your character for you even if it's not lore related. So it's cleary just the player that want to wear what they want, you don't like it ok but everyone is entilted to wear what they want. You complain about that it's not like the old style anymore but all theses old gears and armors are still here for players that want to use them if they want. And even the flashy stuff is still in the guild wars 2 style, maybe not lore friendly yes but it's still in the cartoon paint like style of gw2.

More than lecturing i think people are just annoyed when in an content that is hard compared to the others contents of the game you don't pull your weight, as long your dps is fine or your boon uptime is ok, only people that like optimisation will complain, most of class in this game can be dps in cm with no real problem but the problem is more on buffer, there is no other buffer for 5 man content than fb, the game really need new one, we only have 10 man support that are not fit for 5 man at all (without even speaking about how broken fb egide is) same for alac, why only two specialization in this game can give it ?

Just playing them is funny for me, i always found sad that the most fun content (boss fight and others) are always the minority of gameplay in mmo you do (except when you have finished the rest i guess) .... Yes i'm a mecamaniac that love evading aoe and stuff and doing meca ... too bad the openworld is mindless My favorite moment ? i guess largos, dhuum green / kiting and maybe desmina pushing

Doing a daily reset will make burn out people way too fast (i already burn out of fractals because of t4 (will not have burnout if it's was cm only), i know that they will do it even without li reward, so maybe another system than this one, like people say the first idea you get are often the worst.

Honestly, the first half before everything got fucked up with NCsoft firing people and corona where really good, better then some others living world seasons, but after the firing and the corona, they pretty much throw it away in the trash bin with the drm and just placed every hope they had in their new DLC. Some people will find it stupid as saying, just delay the extension and finish the saga correctly. Others will find it's a good choice, think what you want.

And why am I always first with 30-31, way better than firebrands and mirages ? You can't play it well that's why it sucks for you... Just learn your skills, their cooldowns and what they EXACTLY do.. Try to use leaps in fire fields when need to move, combo finisters from longbow in fire fields etc. and you will see. And the thing why is condi needed ? Condi isn't needed.. People look for condi because they found SC's video with full squad of condi classes, that's why. It doen't matter you are condi or power.. Well to be honest power can do it to, but mirage/fb compo are better and much safer. But yea, condi is not mandatory just better if played with the same skill.

Well honestly, if it's endgame content, you should at least know how to play multiple class, it's not healty in game design wise to create 9 class that each have 2 spec with each spec that can play power and most of the time condi to (bonus for the spec that can support to like fb, thief, ele, and minus for the niche class like mirage, druid, scrapper so it's go back to even), and to let players be able to play only one build of one spec of one class. The only thing that kinda suck is to ask AR for each build, they should have make it to an account progression :/, even if i undesrtand the argument for being character only (even if more build progression than character), but it's quite boring.

Funny thing, it's the same if you keep the first chair that you drop and sell the second you drop or buy with crystal. So Pro tip, buy the chair when you can buy it, and sell when you drop it/buy it again with left over crystal, for your gold it's the same, but you have your chair way faster.

Why is 5% permanent damage better than a 3 that turns to 7% when your enemy is cc'd? > First it's more than that since ele have others multipliers from traits and others multiplier from buff (sb, food, potion, fractal god), and theses multiplier multiplie between themself which make the bonus way more than 7%. To make your second point, with a good group, (not even really good, just good), you do so much damage with this trait, that the mob don't even have time to regain his breakbar, the phase chains really rapidly. And even if he get back the breakbar, except if you're you have low damage in your group from whathever reason like, Stormsoul is always better because of theses bursts and multiplier that multiple between them. This trait make the ele the best burster and damage dealer in fractals CM, so no it's not usless at all.
  21. Stormsoul is what make the ele good in Fractals, without it, you can say goodbye to ele in CMs, so no.... ele already got deleted from wvw, don't delete it from another gamemode, if you want to delete an usless trait, inscription and lighting rod are here for you.

And yes AP don't worth anything, farming ap is not realy skills and don't ask for knowledge of the game or understanding of your class. The hardest legendary to get are the Spvp, WvW and Raid one anyway because it's ask for the same component as the openworld but also ask for skill play in their gamemode. BTw there is not a lot of HL contents, there is raid, sPVP, wvw, fractals, and maybe strike (i don't know it'sb ordeline fullfil the HL definition)

The problem like other people say is that it's will just make the event even less played and people that come for collection will be not enough to complete anymore and will only make the problem bigger. And i don't know why you said that, but i never had any problem finding dragon stand group honestly (no more than 1, and it's not 100% time of the day), but i can do do it often for my legendary armors or my collections.
