Yep. I'm seeing it, too.

This actually might make sense if it was known that a large number of GW2 players used that same coffee maker. This forum would be an obvious pool of resources where help might be found. I know that would be silly, but it's in response to an equally silly example. :P Still, since a large number of GW2 players use arcdps, asking here about it is not so silly.
I did not know about deltaconnected. I will definitely keep him in mind.
Also, some are basing their assertion that I was wrong for posting here on the fact that the developer of arcdps has requested that users do not contact Anet support about it. While I disagree that my post is "contacting Anet support," as some have claimed, let's play along and assume it is. The "prohibition" against "contacting Anet support" comes from someone not affiliated with Anet at all. To apply their rules to this forum makes as much sense as making someone obey the laws of Canada while in the United States.
If you think that my OP is somehow breaking the forum rules, then report it to Anet and let them handle it. Otherwise, if you don't have helpful information relevant to the original question, then don't clutter up this thread.
Besides, as noted a few times now, I got the solution and posted it here for others who might have the same problem. Unfortunately, it will likely be missed because it's been buried and obscured. Thanks for that.
I remain amazed that so many are bent out of shape over my simple request.

I am honestly without words at how my request for community help bothered some people. Sheesh.

I know that. I was hoping some other player here might have known, not that Anet would answer.

No we don't, Steve.

I did. That is how I got the solution, as noted in my post right above yours.
I posted the question here, too, because, well, this is the GW2 forum and my problem was in GW2.

For others wondering about this, unchecking the option "Disable fullscreen optimization" in the GW2-64exe solved this.
Thanks to Saphirklaue on Reddit for the suggestion.

I know. I did. I said that in the first line of my post.

After today's update I installed the current arcdps as usual. It's build 20181016-184655.
However, when I start GW2, I get the message that a serious error occurred preventing the program from continuing with the dialogue box to send info to Anet.
I've experimented and am sure it's arcdps causing this. The game runs normally when I remove the dll from the bin64 folder.
Any ideas on what to look at to see what the problem is? I haven't encountered this before in a year or so of using the addon.

Lots of good info here.
Thanks all.

Is there anything available to Engineers to increase movement speed, like the signets other professions have to add 25%?
Mine is Charr if that makes any difference.

Yep, that's it. I just didn't think it through.
-
A couple of times now I've logged out in Sun's Refuge only to find my character back in Amnoon when I log back in.
it's not a big deal because I can portal right back. It's just strange.
Anyone else?

If you're talking about the Deadeye Priestess, then yep, that's exactly what happened to me. It was late and I didn't feel like trying again so I wasn't sure if it's a bug or just a random, bona fide DC. I'll try again today and hope for the best.

If you have the three ingredient heads but have added any of them to your wardrobe, can they still be used in the MF to create the Mini Elemental Hydra head?

(The "unlock" sound occurred after I warped, not before. I made sure to use the lower one after spawning to the top deck first.)

> Regardless of the details, I think we can all agree that the situation is more confusing than it needed to be. I think it would be better if ANet only used the WP icons for true waypoints and ensure that that faux-wp-teleports are prioritized on the map above all other icons.
OK. I naturally assumed they were locked while greyed out and ran up to them to unlock. As for the rest of your comments, I agree.

No quibble with your other points but I've had to discover/unlock the Cliffs WPs on all the characters I've taken there.

I have never been interested in seasonal events and as a result haven't put much time into any of them.
However, there were so many positive responses to the announcement of this year's FFW that I decided to try it and I'm glad I did.
I'm enjoying it thoroughly and as a result, might give the other seasonal events a try.
This is in no way a refutation of some of the complaints about the event in this thread; I'm just saying I'm enjoying it.

"Mentor" and "Commander" have stopped showing up in map chat in front of the names of players who are tagged.
Was there a change to this, did I unknowingly switch something or is this a glitch?
-
I don't do reddit or twitter. If Anet thinks platforms other than their official forums are the way to get out info, at least they could post the same info here as well.

Actually, I get my 10 kills from Sipedon Deeps in Timberline Falls, not from around the chests.
I know all count (except for the risen) and am sure I have killed no Krait whatsoever since the achievement reset on each of these days. After getting the key, I'm not playing on any character in an area where there are Krait.
So, just to be clear - I come on after reset, go kill my 10 Krait and then go open the next chest. Yeah, I kill those around the chest, but they should not count since I've just completed the daily achievement. I then go do other things where there are no Krait (POF, S4 maps). I log on after the next reset and I have one kill credited to the daily before I have done anything.
I'll take it, but it's not supposed to do that.
-
Last two or three days, when I've started up Blood in the Water, it's showing that I already have one Krait killed when I know I haven't done any yet. I only have to kill nine more to get the key.
It's actually a bug in my favor, but a bug all the same.

There's one on top of the roof of a stable-like structure, too. They're not all out in the open.
Also, best I remember, clearing out the Joko followers helps advance the heart, too.
Black Lion Trading Post: Difficulty selling [Merged]

- Selling (haven't bought anything in a while)
- No change
- Still issues
I was wondering if this might be the result of some anti-bot measure that just went too far. In the past, I have sold things so quickly that I get a "cool down" message and inability to sell for a time period, which I assumed was because the speed of my selling made me look like a bot. Just a thought.
Also, this is not game breaking, but it sure is annoying and unnecessarily time consuming.
Thanks for looking into it.
