It links to one of the core racial features. The only way to renounce that link would be to _stop being a dwarf_. > > Notice, how it affected not only Deldrimor dwarves, that were willing and enacted the ritual, but the Stone Summit dwarves as well - that were definitely _not_ willing, and have already turned to worshipping other entities (like The Great Destroyer, and later Primordius). It didn't help them, and they were still pulled along against their will. Apart from those that let themselves be corrupted (which turned them from being dwarves into dragon minions). > the stone summits are deldrimor dwarfs.......

Maybe some sort of quest to find something that would revert the dwarves from stone? Just a thought. they specifically said deldrimor dwarfs, what if there are other families that renounced the great dwarf and are living somewhere out of reach for now. a possible expansion, a legit way to add dwarfs.

DRM for what it really means has existed for quite some time, just calling it something like DM would already lower the confusion.

  7. please don't use DRM, there is a reason why i don't like to use steam.

  9. it still says nothing, someone with 200 can just get them from doing everything with others, someone of just 100 could just be 10X better but doesn't care as much. the same goes with AP, someone with 20K+ AP just might have gotten it from mindless grinding while someone with 5K AP could be a master but simply doesn't care about AP's.
  10. technically they can kinda do this already, the side-by-side screen can be used. all they need is the ability to use something like steamVR and connect this, that way you can even do this with a phone.

Anet would greatly appreciate the cash. you can't earn when you don't pay, if they hire ppl to make the minion skins it would actually make income.

Some just added in and some that are unlocked. But I get that they take a while to make, so using them as rewards justifies their creation. Otherwise we probably wouldn’t be getting any the first GW literally has more emotes, the worst part is that GW has more possibilities. also, the commands already exists in the game, everything in GW can be added in GW2 but it takes a bit to convert.
  13. my wish? a better use of immersion, this game has so much potential it's just nuts but Anet doesn't even see any of it. i don't want more areas when the old ones suck, i don't care for new armors when the current ones are boring. i really don't want to see more, i want to see better, much better than this petty quality. towns need streetlights, taverns with sit-able chairs and a barmaid asking if you want a drink, night and day matter both with lighting and enemy spawns. i want GW2 to breath, to see it bloom and show how a world can really be. better yet, i want some animals to flee, a deer isn't going to just sit by when you are running around with a weapon, they will run away as far as possible. (and faster than the player running speed) i want a traveling merchant, some have special clothing while others have jewels and weapons for sale. i want to see a market every X day of the week in cities, i even want to see a bar fight or street argument from NPC's that you can solve. GW2 is really dead, not in a sense of "the game is dead" but it feels so empty and desolated that i wonder why Anet even took the time making big cities when only 10% of it is used. the game is beautiful but it's time Anet actually uses that beauty and exploit the heck out of it, it can be so much more but they are not doing anything with it.
  14. asked for that years ago, it's as likely as an engine update....
  15. i remember a time when an emote was added in a game as a feature, not as a reward. oh wait, GW is full of that and has more than GW2.......

  17. you can't necro a thread but you can't start a new one ether, see the flaw here?
  18. having a PC is always a good idea but you don't need a 2K pc for GW2, find a ready to use PC for about 500-700 bucks and you're good to go. just make sure you have at least a i5 processor and a geforce 980 or better, that at least allows you to play on medium everything without lag.

Many players may not take the opportunity to do this each and every time that they log on. Your proposal would basically give mats to players for "free" without any effort. IMO, this would add more mats to the TP as people cash them in for gold which would devalue the mats. Converting gold->gems would then affect the gem prices (as well as de-incetivize players from purchasing gems with real cash), much like what was seen during the heyday of the Istan farm. Gems were a lot cheaper then than they are now (almost by half!). > i only see a good thing, this makes stuff less overpriced and actual casuals can play normally.
  20. if you happened to play GW2 on a mac because work then you have no one but yourself to blame, it's bin clear for about 20 years that mac is not, and i repeat, not made to play games on. better yet, any pro gamer would laugh in your face when mentioning mac as a gaming platform, screaming about it now only makes you look petty. i am not trying to fight or anything but you should know better, a cheap pc of 500 bucks can handle GW2 better than a 2K mac and it has bin proven so many times it's ridicules. Anet just did this to spare them the trouble, mac has never bin their main market in any way and that's the case for many other games. one big positive thing i see is that they could now upgrade the game without worrying about apple stuff, it's a straight road to windows OS and nothing more.
  21. i think that VR would fit GW2 perfectly, HOWEVER, the engine is so outdated that it would probably meld most machines and crash all the time.

  23. updraft is the only single thing gliders have that mounts don't have, taking that away completely removes the use of gliders. i rather want gliders to have some kind of update, like a speed boost on 100% mastery so it's as fast as a griffon.
