  1. There is nothing they can do at this point to fix this game honestly. What made gw2 have the best combat was is simply didn't have the bloat other mmorpg's have. Most Mmorpg's are polluted with CC's, Aoe spam, Combo's, ect, these where all limited in gw2 at launch. after 8 year's we have the same amount (or more) as any other mmorpg, but this game was never designed for it. you can't fix these problems with numbers tweaks, so we get more and more traits / mechanics that basically carry the player. We are now at the point where every single profession is low skill high reward.
  2. Alway's the same people whining since 2012. It's sad really, considering most thieves have already left year's ago and these people are struggling vs new thieves that lack experience..... (hence the no video's posted) You did it forum warriors, you are the best of the 20 people that still play PVP, just ignore the fact that 15 of them are on meme builds for fun. and pat yourselfs on the back you are the best of noone. such an honor. On a more serious note, i'm curious how many thieves quit because they got sick of watching there opponents play like complete idiots while being rewarded for it. i'm sure i'm not the only one.

  4. Your underestimating the amount of rupts my meme build had Steal, Swd stealth 1, S.Wire x 2. bandits defense, Sb 4, s/p 3, headshot. 24 init regen and a shit ton of might, what could go wrong.
  5. Designed for Casuals, not really much of a point to play this if your looking for decent PVP. The game is filled with "Platinum 3 player's' who have the ability of gold level player's. but because they got a shiny badge by there name they must be god's gift to gaming
  6. If They revert capicorn to the previous version you can have a cannon. and sharks, who doesn't like sharks...

  8. well it's a good thing thieves haven't been running SB for that extra mobility for 8+ years, I mean there is nooooo way where going to just swap to rifle.... IA for 8 int, and travel 900 range Or you can Rifle 4 x2 for 8 init and travel 1200 range, Arena net, being Arena net....

  12. That's not the case though. the majority of people just use it as a method to put the opposite team at a disadvantage. (I.e queing up as two weak professions which forced the MM into a mirror match)
  13. Thief is very broken, just like every other profession now they rely on using cheese to win. One only has to look at a Thief Vs Thief matchup to identify the issue. which of course is the sustain from Shadow arts, would anyone argue a SA thief won't win vs a non SA thief? seriously go run S/d vs d/p running that traitline, your going to punish him 4-5 times after he fails his stealth burst, but due to your damage being lower they can out heal you. I'm sure some of you are about to scream nerf the sustain on thief then, and i'm sure most of the thief community would agree. the reality is they can't. It was already mentioned why this would be a bad idea. "The sustain on other professions is to high" you nerf thief all your going to do is force everyone into a SA condition spec. You ain't fixing thief unless you fix the defensive power creep on other professions first.
  14. swapping professions should be locked on ready up, build templates should function during the whole match.
  15. I'm not a marketing guy, but why would they want to release on steam before they released their expansion? they take like 30% of sales. that's probably the real reason it was pushed back. (and really can you blame them?)
