I wouldn't be surprised if there'll be next to no PvP tweaks for the rest of the game's lifespan.

  3. I don't even swap elements on my Elementalists, unless I want to be faster in no-mount zones. I always camp Fire in combat.

  5. Do you remember when world completion included WvW? I wish Arenanet had never removed that, just for all the salt on the forums.
  6. I remember 5 signet warriors fighting 10+ players on their own and winning. This was very shortly after release.
  7. How about we stop beating the dead horses that can no longer do any harm and target the live stallions instead? Unlike many other tanky builds, Heal Warriors quickly die to 1vs2 and even in 1vs1 they don't often win.
  8. I'd rather have Arenanet disable finishing during Elixir S. When nothing in the game can interact with you during Elixir S, you should not be able to interact with anything either.
  9. I'd rather have Arenanet spent their resources in other things. But I don't oppose them to enable currently existing guild decorations to be placed in the home instances.
  10. > @"John.8507" said: > Why is it so hard to get equal matches, instead of losing or winning by hundreds of points! Because there are not enough players, players reaching from plat to low silver (maybe even Bronze) can get matched together. And then you also have things like: two team queues ending up on the same team vs 5 randoms win trading trolling queue dodging cheating Without significant effort put into fixing pvp as a whole, there will never be hope for a change.
  11. Stating numbers from gw2efficiency amounts to nothing. It's no vertical slice throughout the player communities. If I had to guess, the majority, especially casual players, do not care to register there (if they even know that website exists). And aside from that, it's no small number of players that shunned the last two episodes due to the absence of voice acting, causing a bigger dip in player participation than usual.
  12. Guardians, Warriors, Rangers, Thieves, Engineers, Necromancers and Mesmers. are harassing PvP for eight years now - lets talk about some effective nerfs Everything, except maybe Elementalists, has the possibility to over-perform. On top of that, Revenants are way more limited in what they can do and how much they can do, by the Legend and Energy systems. I don't think Revenant deserves any nerfs, other than maybe preventing the stacking of Renegade spirits. But I don't know whether that's technically possible or not.

That could become material for a mini game story instance. I don't think too many people would like that. A lot of people already disliked the Raptor puzzle during _A Star to guide Us._
  14. Why should games even punish players? Once upon a time, they were meant to fill leisure time and help people relax. They ought **not** to add another layer of stress and frustration on top of what one's job already does.
  15. By boat would be the most interesting choice. And midway, we get attacked by a Kraken.
  16. I actually hope Arenanet returns to their pre-HoT abundance of waypoints in EoD. Or, if not waypoints, they should **at least** give us plenty of shrines, like the ones in Siren's landing but not nearly as sparse. In PoF, they were far too stingy with them.

  19. too much CC too little Stunbreak too much stealth, while being too strong too much condition application sustain is either off the charts or abysmal depending on each build, there is no in between but most importantly: Warrior needs its damage back on CC skills.
  20. I'm definitely not their target group. I don't buy special gathering tools. I don't buy Gliders or back packs. I don't buy Outfits (other than the Monk outfit, which I only use on my Mesmer). I don't buy Mount skins (except for the Winter's Day collection). I rarely get Black lion weapon skins. Basically, I don't partake in anything they put their most work into. And yes, I believe that they have put more work into that stuff than have put into _The Grindflood Saga._
  21. While I wouldn't use either one of them (because they don't fit my taste of aesthetics), I like the right one better, solely because it's skin and hair colours are darker and look healthier.
  22. Bard is going to be Mesmers next elite specialization, so that name has to stay free for now.
  23. > @"Eekasqueak.7850" said: > Trident would be a bit redundant with how it's just the underwater staff, speargun likewise is kind of redundant with rifle. They could give Trident to Revenant and Thief on land, letting them have access to a more magical staff-equivalent, as their regular staffs are melee weapons. Speargun could become a more damage focussed weapon on Engineer and less utility-focused like their usual Rifle.
