  1. Since we speaking about core currently we have 2 Core and 1 Espec setting what if change to 3 Core and 1 Espec? do you guys think something like 3 Core 1 Espec will break the game balance that much or maybe make it powerfull but not breaking too much balance?
  2. > @"Lan Deathrider.5910" said: > Think of if the warrior EoD espec got traps. Stealthed Bulls Charge or stealthed Earthshakers would happen. The stealth would cover warrior's biggest weakness, highly telegraphed animations. So, apply the exercise to other classes that lack stealth and ask yourself if they become broken. > > Stealth on a rune set is truthfully an incredibly terrible idea. It's thematic for sure, but without an icd it becomes broken. This is in part because of how stealth stacks. If it functioned like superspeed, where it just overrode the last application 85% of the qq on anything that today chest stealth would disappear. > > So, IMHO, either change stealth to not stack, or put a 5s cd on the runes. The stealth change would honestly be healthier for the game, but that is my opinion on the issue and others are free to disagree. Now that you mention this I trap on warrior maybe not that bad? Still depend on how they implement it though, so far warrior's utility have no serious damage like compared to DH's trap Procession of Blades and SoJ (power). When translated into competitive warrior's Utility only buff and CC without damage, nothing can seriously dish out damage. I agree on you with stealth change shouldn't stack, well that will also maybe solve the permastealth thief problem at wvw? But the sneak gyro blasting strategy could get hit too and maybe will result in different approach of fight.
  3. Uh I think 2 class is the most needed like backbone of fractal is Healbrand and Alacren. After that if you PUG and lucky you can get 1 Bannerslave and 2 DPS or if not lucky just 3 more DPS class is fine too for T4+Recs. CM is probably same Healbrand and Alacren but I think people use more meta class for the 3 DPS. Sorry can't speak about CM too much I slacking at fractal recently as the game kinda stale.
  4. Usually February is the Month where they do a really big patch. Hopefully next month they really did something unless they delay it again.

No uh I think they just dragged this out like I said in the first place Linken this final chapter basically like just filler, they only doing minimum amount of work till the EoD arrives.
  6. The most common to use DPS: Peppercorn Sous Vide Steak (-10% damage, 100 power , 70 ferocity) Support: Fruit Salad with Mint Garnish (+10% outgoing healing, 100 healing power, 70 concentration) Some people start experimenting with other food like Fruit Salad Peppercorn for support warrior but generally those 2 is good enough for general use.

Lets just hope these DRMs are at least interesting and worth replaying At this point though this last chapter is only a filler until we reach EoD with bunch of DRMs, I doubt we will get a new map on this last chapter. We will get new map when EoD comes.
  8. They all going on holiday and ignoring all player's complaint for now.
  9. > @"manlaan.8921" said: > Bump. This bug still exists. Quite frustrating.... > I suggest everyone put in a bug report every time it happens so that the managers can see that its not resolved and causing a major QOL issue for those that do fractals. The only way they know is if the metrics tell them there is a problem. Because anet doesn't care about this bug, they only care about money. This bug is serious problem which should be handled on the frequent patch or hotfix but they don't do it. I am not sure they read this forum either.

Skull Crack can still be a devastating skill, but requires a great deal more skill to capitalize on than it used to. > > What are your thoughts on Mace and ways it could be improved? > @"Lan Deathrider.5910" said: > This is something that has been discussed in the Omnibus thread, for both this and Riposte. Exactly this try to seek Lan's Warrior omnibus and post it there, I also suggest the AA chain should be faster, it's currently slower than 2H hammer, funny right I thought 1 Hand should having some advantage in AA speed.

  12. What about like if people who got healed/receive boon from support manage to kill the enemy the support also got kill count? So this is will benefit for extra loot and extra kill count toward that ultimate dominator.
  13. What about WvW build for Holosmith? If there is zerg build power based I would like to know :)
  14. > @"Lan Deathrider.5910" said: > Unsuspecting Foe: Fury you gain grants increased critical hit chance. Successful control effects grant Fury for 5s (10s icd). > Fury: Gain +40% crit chance. > > Then with no Precision invested whenever you fain Fury your base crit chance would be 45%. Makes Valkyrie a more attractive option then. This alone is already valuable Lan, that's extra 20% is I think sweet spot since warrior still have banner so if 200precision more means it's just 10 more precision for 10%. Roughly with banner improve and fury active we get +50% crit chance already. But the thing is, is this should be on [Arms] Spec still? I think we talk about how to redesign arm to fit the Condi Play rather than Power. So I am thinking move the Unsuspecting Foe to Strength/Tactic/Disc. Then give Arms something new for condi play?
  15. Also I think warrior should have some tweak to the critical chance? Like Guardian/Necro/Engi got some trait which can just increase the critical chance and it's easy to fulfill the condition and the critical chance applied to general situation. Warrior got only 2 in Arms spec [unsuspecting Foe Unsuspecting Foe (Arms) — Increased critical-hit chance against disabled foes. Disables include stun, daze, knock back, pull, knock down, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.] this is 50% chance increast but only when foe disabled? when going PvE meta/big boss/raid the breakbar stun only last a few seconds not even worth. WvW if enemy play it right the zerg will almost have stability which render the trait useless. [burst Precision Burst Precision (Arms) — Burst skills have an increased critical chance] Guarantee crit on burst but again not so that appealing because applied to burst only. Take a look at Guardian [Radiant Power (Radiance) — Attacks against burning foes have an increased chance to critically hit. Your ferocity is increased.] 10% increase when foe is burning, easy because a lot of guardian skill can also applied burn plus if PvE mostly there are always a class which apply condi so the uptime is really high. [Righteous Instincts (Radiance) — Retaliation increases your chances to critically strike and grants might each interval.] 25% increase when there is retaliation buff, also easy to maintain And Engi [High Caliber (Firearms) — You have an increased critical hit chance against foes within the range threshold.] 15% increase when going melee, easy if Scrapper using Hammer and Holo using Sword this is perma increase [Hematic Focus Hematic Focus (Firearms) — You have increased chance to critically strike against bleeding foes.] 10% increase same situation as guardian's but this is against bleeding foe instead of burning. Those skills work in most situation and works on every attack. Warrior can take the banner benefit and precision signet but that takes 2 utility slots, and give passively 380 precision which translated into 18%, compared with Engi 25% and Guardian 35% without using utility slot.
  16. If only anet change how support work so like if you give allies buff/heal then your ally kill opponent you also got credit I think firebrand will be more popular to use.
  17. > @"Lan Deathrider.5910" said: > Give warrior a pair of pistols, some F2-F4 skills that offer group support though boons and unstrippable buffs like I mentioned above, and then you have the workings of an actually good, effective, and FUN support build that give flexibility in the utility slots to augment that support in various ways. I prefer something like.... put the banner on F3, then give berserker f2 something. So warrior carry 1 banner at a time instead of 2. Then give some more meaningfull utility skill rather than buff and debuff only, warrior literally got no damaging utility now for pvp/wvw purpose.
  18. If you enter water and your water weapon doesn't have sigil of bloodlust you will lose the stacks. So you gotta give your underwater weapon sigil of bloodlust and you won't lose stack even if enter water. This is not a bug.
  19. If you see carefully the Sigil of Endurance (The one you swap weapon gain 50 endurance right?) has a 9 seconds cooldown and as I recall weapon swap has 10 secs unless you are on warrior taking discipline. So you can put in both weapon set and everytime you swap the sigil will activate because the cooldown is ready. But if you use warrior fast hand it won't because the weapon swap Cd on warrior fasthand is 5 secons which mean there is 4 secs cooldown before the sigil can be activated again.

Anyone? At this point? No expectation and no hope, but let's see if anet still manage to disappoint
  21. To be honest though WvW is not the place where you farm gold. You mostly will spend your gold here aka gearing for ascended, buying sigil/runes. If you want fast gold you gotta do PvE.
  22. > @"Stand The Wall.6987" said: > its most likely anets amazon servers. i was using a vpn and getting stable ping until anet switched servers. i heard choosing a vpn server (if your vpn allows you to) close to amazons servers can help but i'm not sure on that. Do you perhaps know their approximate location?
  23. I am surprised that took them super long to notice WvW need improvement in term of gameplay and the lag problem.
  24. Of course more reward is the answer I mean clearing 3x CM for daily (any DRM) is taking about similar time to clearing t4 Fractal + recs, but fractal rewards more.

It's a great game mode. > > Just stick to _something_ I say. Dungeons were great, why the need for Fractals? Strike Missions were fun, why the need for DRMs, which are lengthy and boring to repeat? Easy because apparently they laid of too much employee and senior staffs? Or maybe people quitting anet too. If you look at anet career post they look some people to fill crucial position. Which mean they are currently undermanned and of course we got underwhelming "new things" in result. They just doing the minimum (or below minimum maybe?) to hold community's interest like when they announce alliance to keep people hope but never deliver it.
