  1. It all depends on how much time and resources anet can spend for the next big selling point.

Housing does not give much to extend previous game play. A house would be more like a personal instance. Good for anet to sell ppl shiniest but not much game play fun.

New race... extend game play? No just a visual asking for a new race is almost like making a transformation tonic the big selling point.

Air combat ? That’s like Mounts with extra stats

Naval combat sounds like a map with an event or does everyone get his own boat ?

Next big selling point I guess will be a way to customize our char more than ever.

Color ur spells a guardian who spells looking greenish with necromancy flare

Change animations swing ur sword like this way or that way (elegant/barbaric/Kung fu/beast/ silent killer/

Change ur idle stand positions /happy/cool/Grimm/ thinking/sleepy/cute

A new way to build ur talents more variety to choose. More skills more traits . Weapon skills become changeable as well.

Instead of specialization it will be a build how u want.

    Possible to cross spec

    Guardian/ thief

    Engineer/Ranger

balance in pvp will become a nightmare but anet does not really care pvp anyway.

Players get a complete new way to play their old class and anet can sell animations and spell effects

Each mount does something unique and anything that a horse can do we can already do in game. A horse skin of something, sure, but there's no need for a separate mount.

I liked that part as well :) personal im not a Horse fan I just wanted to show that in a fantasy game everything can find its way

there was a lack of skimmers in game before as wll... i also never saw a skyscale, a warbeast or a springer

I just wish the say this year or not this year would be enough for me

  5. Game is great i could play years to come without getting bored and still not finish all.

so my only dreams are QOL improvements

can we just get a word if build templates come this year ? just a simple yes or no would be enough so I can stop reading forum everyday for any news :)

thank u so much for this wonderful game

  6. Will come I’m sure... but not as major selling point mmos are about show what u have and be active with other. Housing is so private. If open world housing that would be a different story.

I long time had the idea of wvw guild castles but for that anet need ..... whatever housing will come be patient

  7. Next ls trailer came out let’s play what could be happen.

As we know Dragons die they share their power with other dragons

Zhaitan died and his power went to Modremoth and so on.

What if Aureene died but her power didn’t went to the other dragons but stayed inside the crystals ?

So in a way the crystal armor we get with next episode contains Aureens Power.

So Instead of Dragon die share power only with dragon they now can share the power with us or at least contain them/ bound them to objects.

Skyscale might also be an indication that Dragons coming back or we find out that there are thousands of dragons smaller once who can also absorb dragon energy and because it’s shared by so many no one of the dragons will become a threat like Kraltoric

In pugs there is no such thing so everyone needs to know what to do and also be able to do it. Without communication fails can be hard to salvage. Thats why pugs are bad for inexperianced players.

    > >

    > > no elitism start by pretending everyone need be on a certain lvl from the start when those elitist started those raids without any barriers like the ones they create for others

    >

    > That is simply untrue and shows you have no experience in the raiding scene or game mode.

    >

    > Raids were introduced over 3.5 years ago by now. Not every person started raiding 3.5 years ago. There is new raiders joining constantly. They do by doing what every raider did before them:

    > - get knowledgeable about their class

    > - get knowledgeable about the raid content

    > - join a training discord/lfg/guild

    > - train a boss until they succeed

    > - rinse and repeat

    >

    > The main difference being that 3.5 years ago there was no raiding community, no snowcrows, no guides. Similar to when a new wing releases. People trained a lot more and had to figure everything out on their own.

    >

    > You are simply unwilling to put in the effort required to become a raider. Joining an established group of more experienced player to get carried is NOT getting to know fights and practice. You first master the encounter, then you get the reward, not the other way around.

    >

    > @Decrypter.1785

    > There is a lot of information (guide videos, guides, turorials, training guilds, training discords, etc.) available. Do understand though that raiding in GW2 has almost nothing in common with casual open world GW2. The closest you might get is T4 fractals and challenge mode fractals. If you expect to simply add raiding to your daily regiment without willing to invest time into mastering your class/game mechanics (or join training groups), it will be near impossible.

stop acting like u know me

its not about ppl dont invest time in it I critic the game design in general, WOW has baby step raids easy mode - Normal mode- Hero Mode

it is like it is the game design now is excluding and not welcoming for new players and gathers only to a tiny group of GW2 player thats a waste of resources.

U can go on and telling me I suck in PVE and make ur assumptions. I dont just write things when they benefit me, I see the bigger picture how a game mode can be more attractive for everyone.

just look the first response OP got he be asked to spend 6-12 months to prepare ????? if u dont see something is broken here than i cant explain it to u.

Raiding is highly unpopular for an reason and its because of the pressure it produces created by other player

    >

    > Someone liking raids doesn't make them an elitist, there are casuals who like raids; and someone playing efficiently doesn't mean they'll like raids. I'm all for efficiency, but still strongly dislike raids, especially given they generally aren't really difficult, just forced reliance on additional people compared to traditional 5 player difficult content. Which means I'm forced to know more people than I really want to if I were to participate.

the problem is not ppl like Raids the issue is the content don't provide a learning curve like beginner Raids and bcs of that it carters to a certain group only who post LFGs like Class X not welcome and only exp player show xxxx number of tokkens

this alone shows what an environment Anet has created. Even Fractals have low lvls where u can learn slowly and still joining all the content.

about Class XXX not welcome is even that most ppl even dont know if XXX class would be not good its just ppl copy paste what they see on some website.

without DPS Meter we would had a even more narrow class selection in Raids. Because ppl reading those meta build websites without testing it out themselves

  10. If I loose all my progress and need start from zero for gw3 than I just quit mmos. Gw2 is the only game I play. And I reached the QOL bag space legendary gear and other items which make this game more fun to play.

Giving all up only for an engine which will be outdated 1 year later anyway not really like that idea
