  1. Yo it all comes down to drama and bandwagoning. Some guilds wanna PPT, some just ktrains. Fight guilds don't give a shyt. PPT guilds hate Fight guilds for not playing the objective game cos all they want is fights, no matter the tier. Ktrainers just get their karma high and screw off. People argue, guilds decide their tier is trash and server is trash so they transfer off. Newbies/Solos are like "lol dead server" they transfer off. Fight guilds are like "what, no fights in t4?" They transfer off. Tadaaaa dead server, it closes or becomes a link. #If server transfers are the bullets killing WvW, the players are the gunpowder, the gun, the finger that pulls the trigger.

This thread is pretty indicative of that. > > Not sure where you got that from, but claiming that these small organized groups are somehow the result of roaming thieves is just false. These groups would still exist *as much as they do today*, no matter what class or roaming playstyle dominated. And that's because it's not a direct answer to anything other than organized group being stronger than multiple single players blobed together -shocker, I know. Maybe he confuses roaming with solo roaming.
  3. Boons, Pulls, Heals and Stealth. Also CC from Gravity Well and Boon Rip/cleanse with Null field.

  5. Core Warrior can't be played like a sustain duelist anymore. Forget about sustain, play more like a Rev now. Focus on avoiding hits with Dodge roll, Shield, GS 3, and Bull Rush. Core Level 3 GS Burst hits like a truck, and so does Core Level 3 Eviscerate. That's kinda why some Warriors just went ahead and play Berserker instead, since it supports aggressive playstyles better.
  6. No. Too powerful. That would make Discipline even more deep rooted into meta because it will now have too many beneficial passive acting traits that just make Warrior perform better by default.
  7. Breath really. Watched too much KnY?

Weaver seems to have many alternatives. It will be tough, but i wish to try it out. I imagine this class isnt supposed to kite at all tho? If yu are talking about Sw/F, no. Rather yu can't afford to, or else yu lose pressure on yur target and they will easily heal up from yur damage and reset the fight. If yu are talking about FA Sceptre Focus though, that build has to kite.
  9. > @"Doctor.1384" said: > Return empty vessel or make other sun breaks cheaper. Other classes can choose to have as many stunbreaks as they want rev cannot and other classes understand that it can be easily stunlocked after it breaks stun after a legend swap. Don't need it. We have had way more build options now that Invocation isn't shackling us with Empty Vessel. In fact, we have a huge problem with stunbreaks because of skill bloat and high skill cost. We need skills rebalanced around a cheaper cost and Rev would be in a good spot. Oh, and give Ventari a Stunbreak for the love of god.
  10. Literally a higher mobility version of regular Renegade builds. Yur main draw is sustained damage from range, but yu have worst on point control due to not running Summons. Shiro allows yu to self kite, and most importantly pull off great burst damage with IO + Sevenshot. Yur healing is garbage tier too, so always keep on yur toes and have a finger on weapon swap whenever when yu do get jumped, because a defensive staff block/evade is crucial to survival. Yu can tank some Condis, but yu also have a "Burst condi cleanse" combo which yu should only use in a pinch or heavily condi bombed (RS>Jalis heal>swap to staff>staff 4), or else Steadfast Rejuv is actually yur main sustain and just keep yur Upkeeps active whenever yu are trying to heal off chip damage.
  11. Revenant using the Renegade Espec lets yu brainlessly facetank things.

If you look here you can see this bug. I could be mistaken on this one, but it also has a radius of 600. I think it's actually 360 in WvW? I forget, but either way, both are an enormous radius. These things are all very similar to what I'd said about Necro in that you can suddenly take heavy damage just by being in the general vicinity of the Herald, which is why they should be changed. > > True Nature needs to be fixed and to have its radius reduced. You say it isn't broken, but this skill is objectively so. Call To Anguish needs the Chill removed, and Invoking Torment should have the duration of the Conditions it applies reduced. > It has also been suggested in other threads that Infuse Light should be a more costly skill to upkeep so you can't just camp it. > > Otherwise I agree with what you've said about how to fight it. Yea, it's really no longer a secret that the single source of all of Condi Herald's damage is actually swapping in their enemy's face and unloading all the Condi. If one knows how to look out for that attack pattern, it's really easy to avoid having that attack land. TN Demon is the real problem here in the end : I have made several posts talking about either nerfing TN Demon or changing how it functions altogether. I see no reason why TN Demon should transfer condis up to 5 people AND give Might for Condis transferred as well. Makes no sense at all.
  13. > @"Grand Marshal.4098" said: > kitten, I would never be able to 3v1. I've 2v1 a couple of times but this is very good. Any tips to someone who wants to start playing weaver (builds, tactics)? > Ez. Don't use yur defensives haphazardly. If yu watch his video carefully, he isn't using his ToFs, his Lava Skin nor his Focus defensives randomly. They are always used right after he is done with an attack attempt to prevent the opponent counterattack from doing too much damage to himself. Weaver builds, especially builds that use Healing Signet, are extremely vulnerable to spike damage that they cannot recover from, which is why yu have to time yur defensives or use defensives properly, because there is no way passive healing is gonna help yu recover fully from spike damage, and besides, S/F Weaver has soooo many defensive cooldowns to easily rotate through if yu don't panic and use them all at once.
  14. > @"Justine.6351" said: > They should rework all skills that piggyback damage onto other skills like one wolf pack, impossible odds and virtue of justice. They went on a warpath against raw damage but didn't address these for some reason. I personally never liked "hit on hit" skills. I liked IO back when it was Superspeed + Quickness + 10% increase damage. But for some reason they changed IO to second strike, and suddenly all the balance problems arose, for Shiro at least. Oh shoot, IO does so much damage together with Sword 4, but it's like, totally Sword 4's problem right? Nerf Sword 4 cast time. Oh shoot, IO does so much ranged damage with Hammer! Urgh..... REMOVE THE QUICKNESS! Nerf IO Quickness, Cost still the same. Oh shoot, IO does so much damage, even Autos can hit for max 5k per hit, but Rev is so mobile.... REMOVE SUPERSPEED, THAT WILL SOMEHOW ADDRESS THE DAMAGE PROBLEM IF WE CAN PREVENT REV FROM BEING IMMUNE TO SLOWS.
  15. Lol glad people still playing Eles after the nerfs. Inb4 people show up saying Ele needs nerfs :^)
  16. **Just me throwing out shyt ideas as always but :** **Core Ele :** _Reactivate current Attunement to Conjure a weapon into yur hands, lose the weapon when yu swap out of the current Attunement. Adds +15 Cooldown to the Attunement when this occurs, similar to an Overload._ **Tempest :** _Replaces Conjures with Overloads_ **Weaver :** _Loses Conjures in exchange for lower cooldown Attunements as well as Double Attunements_ Conjurer trait update : When stowing a Conjure, reduces cooldown of all Attunements by 10s. 10s ICD Conjured weapons give Fire Aura when activated. FGS remains as Elite, but trait will affect it all the same.
  17. > @"Voltekka.2375" said: > Condi herald is broken as it is now. > "Bad players die to it". Bad players also die to thieves Bad players die to everything kek. But seriously, Condi Herald 1v1 is not impossible or "broken" by any means. Stay on the defensive when they are in Mallyx, go on the Offensive when they are in Glint, and take care not to free heal them during Infuse Light. That's basically all it takes to beat them right now. And even if yu can't beat them, alot of builds can outrun them because Condi Herald has really weak mobility. Are they very strong? Yes. Are they broken? Far from it. Alot of stuff in the game can be beaten or encountered with game knowledge, I much prefer to fight things that require strategy to beat. Which less can be said for low/no skill MM builds which just let their minions do all the chip damage while they just sit there and take camps.
  18. > @"Lan Deathrider.5910" said: > For PvE? Unless you are speed clearing what does it matter? Not sure if GS really has more cleave than Dagger Axe, but I wanna say Dagger Axe is probably better cleave, especially for fractals. Longbow actually not bad for cleaving with Ride the Wind, but this is only for Ranger. Other ranged weapons have pretty bad cleave or not really good for damage.

Ever. Every Soulbeast I've seen lately have been meme bow builds. I've had > people rage swap to their Soulbeast to get revenge on me lol. Longbow Sic'em everytime. Although I can believe it works. > Talking bout PvE. No one really cares about having great and awesome damage per second in competitive where survival is more valuable than doing best dps in a minute. In competitive, the flexibility is more valuable. Rangers especially, use their Longbow in a way shorter than effective range because they need to swap to their melee set in order to continue putting out DPS, mooting the design of an extreme long range weapon in the first place.
  20. > @"Lan Deathrider.5910" said: > Except ranger. GS + LB on ranger is exceedingly balanced. > > Berserker GS + Rifle is okay. Warrior rifle got it's raw damage cut too much in February and rifle. 4 needs to evade before it shoots. Missing my point entirely. My point is not that Ranged weapons have no weapon compliments at all, my point is that Ranged weapon has no Ranged compliments at all to allow them to keep fighting at range with weapon swap. To swap into melee after Ranged rotation means to give up Ranged safety. The only Profession that can sustain full ranged gameplay is probably Rifle Deadeye builds but only due to Ini mechanic. Ps I'm pretty sure Soulbeast power builds run Dagger Axe for quickness Axe 5.
  21. Yu should summon anyway. Scourge gets damage reduction for each active Shade.
  22. The problem is not ranged damage not being strong enough, it's not having enough tools to compliment ranged play. All ranged weapons in the game with 1200-1500 range have no compliments, so they can't actually weapon swap to use a different set without sacrificing either dps or ranged safety.
  23. Those are D/F Lightning Rod builds. Their "tankiness" is an illusion : Power damage does nothing to them while they are in Earth because Stone Heart prevents crits. Lighting Rod also applies weakness. They also have Protection up the butt.
  24. Lb Gs Boonbeast. Go check metabattle.
