  2. It's working again, after ~20 login attempts.
  3. I'm currently unable to log in. **Error Code: 42:0:9001:4457**

Hopefully, a new class of a **Monk** that can be a **Staff based DPS or Heal spec** suitable for Raids and Fractals I don't like any of those suggestion except no.9. 1. I'm not a rifle fan. I'd rather see an overhaul of the ranger's longbow skills. 2. I hate greatsword on a warrior. The animations alone look ridiculous, among other things. I prefer the guardian's use of the greatsword by far. 3. Necro Sw/Sw? No, thanks. It's a necromancer, not Tauriel or Legolas. (Hey, now _this_ would be a cool thing for rangers! ;) ) 4. Spear? Will not get introduced as a land-based weapon. 5. Are you kidding me? _More_ perma-stealth?! 6. We are having too many heal bots already. It should have been reserved for Guardians. There are too many mixed up professions already. 7. Oh no. I hate the fact that you can't attack while in Firebrand tomes mode. You really want to do that to yet another profession, especially one that should be doing DPS? 8. Trident? See 4.

I'm not quiet for sure which is right I suppose. Me neither, sorry. I did this a long time ago, but don't recall having any issues getting the item. Perhaps it's best you send the support team a bug report.
  10. > @"Danikat.8537" said: > It would be interesting to have more mini games Reminds me of playing Pazaak in SW:KotOR - _that_ was a lot of fun. :) Not sure ANet could implement an actual card game interface into GW2, though.
  11. The Everburning Coal is dropped by a fire elemental, not the Shaman. Did you kill one of those or did you focus on the boss?
  12. Don't forget to format your SSD using GPT instead of MBR. It's more secure in case of corruption. I recommend the same for the HDD, convert it to GPT if you can temporarily store your data elsewhere to free the disc.

  14. > @"Linken.6345" said: > They dident learn the system in the old days pre new player experience either. That's the point: this system needs improvement. In the old days, you didn't necessarily need to know all that, you could get through the game just spamming 1.
  15. > @"kharmin.7683" said: > > @"Lily.1935" said: > > > The leveling process itself should be looked at as well. In my opinion the leveling process is worse and less meaningful than it was at and near the launch of the game. It wasn't perfect but it made you try things out. Noting other aspects of the leveling process I'd personally lock the player out of the PoF mounts and gliding until they reach level 80. I'd suggest a leveling mount that was, say 50% faster than player speed, maybe less that had no flashy abilities that was available to level 1-79 players so they could get that mount fix new players crave. Could even be used as a part of the advertising campaign. > > > I cannot disagree more. GW2 is so very alt-friendly, that locking out mounts that are currently account-wide would (IMO) detract from one of the more significant attractions to the game. What is the actual purpose that you are trying to serve with this suggestion? It almost seems as if it is another veiled whine about mounts in core zones. I don't _know_ what the OP meant, but can imagine that it was a general complaint about how new players aren't learning the game mechanics properly with the current leveling system. They can use a level 80 boost on their very first character, and after that have it very easy to level additional chars to 80 without improving, as they never go through a real learning curve. The core content is too easy and doesn't prepare you for the later level of difficulty, and base mechanics like CC are not explained anywhere, either, etc.
  16. > @"Randulf.7614" said: > It isn't unnecessary becaise it works perfectly for me ;) Okay, perhaps that wasn't well phrased by me. My apology. I just wanted to point out that it is complicating things as it includes additional steps that can be prevented by simply pasting the image link into the "Insert image" field here on the forum. It then creates a working image all by itself.
  17. > @"Fipmip.7219" said: > Do you have any particular moments or quotes from rytlock that rubbed you the wrong way? Many. His constant whining is too much to collect and quote. He is also disrespectful (see Kormir, for instance) and generally behaves like an [kitten] rather than an adult Charr. It has been toned down these past couple of releases, I have to admit that - but for years he has been going on my nerves. And that voice! Ugh. The constant exhales at the end of each little phrase, like everything around him was annoying him to death. As I said: a whiner. > @"XenoSpyro.1780" said: > As opposed to your own whiney, aggressive post? Aggressive against Rytlock? Yes. Whiney? Well, when you have to repeat yourself a million times, you can start sounding whiney. ;)

  19. **Guardian:** Dragonhunter for DPS (open world, raids, fractals and PvP); Firebrand for Quickness and Healer builds (raids, fractals, WvW, possibly PvP as well)
  20. > @"Arana.6498" said: > Nothing is working is there a video you can post about this? Did you actually read the instructions found in the entry post under this link: > @"DebraKadabra.5278" said: > All info about that is in this thread - https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/853/guide-how-to-upload-post-your-own-images-on-these-forums 1. Upload an image on Imgur. 2. Right-click the image and select "View image". Copy the link from the browser's address bar. 3. Go to the GW2 forums und select the picture icon above the text box. Insert the link. 4. Done.
  21. 1. Do not install the game (or any game) in Program Files. Create a separate Games folder in which to install games, preferably on a non-OS partition. 2. Delete the [Local.dat](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Local.dat) (**%AppData%\Guild Wars 2\Local.dat**) and the GW2 temp folders (**%Temp%** -> all folders starting with **gw2cache-{** ). 3. Rename the GW2 installation file into Gw2-64.exe before you start downloading the game.

In case the OP doesn't know what you mean: the "bubbles" are the floating blue lights above the chest. You see them when you approach the chest. They indicate which strikes you must have completed this week for bonus loot. Also, make sure to always have 3 Prophet Crystals of the weekly color ready Monday morning (you can exchange the minor ones for Prophet Crystals at the NPC standing next to the chest).
