E-sports means players competing against other players, not PvE content. Strikes and raids do not qualify for that. 2. The four new DRMs are pretty good, actually. I think they did everything right this time around, as the first three were super boring.

I know, I did that for the achievement last year. :) I was still stressed out a bit at the time or I would have recalled the notes' contents. ;)

Thank you, that was really helpful information. I never took the time to read the scattered documents in peace as the circumstances of such mission instances usully stress me out too much to relax and enjoy any lore contained in them (same as raids and other group content).
  4. I had such a laugh this morning when I read the "20 times instead of 20%". No wonder my poor HFB wasn't able to do anything other than asking players not to melee. ;)

  6. > @"Linken.6345" said: > Use up the old before you craft new? Really? Wow. ;) Food also drops from the daily Black Lion board in the Home Instance, so **I did not craft the new one**. > @"skydelirious.4185" said: > Well if it becomes stackable then people who are stacking them would sell all of them for profit , maybe that's why they did this That makes no sense as you can still craft the new food and sell it for profit. > @"Spook.5847" said: > Simple stuff seems hard to do in this game for some reason. Indeed.
  7. > @"Nokomis.5076" said: > The Release Notes tell > > existing account-bound items will remain bound, but items acquired after updating the client will be unbound > So I'm afraid this won't change. That's why I posted my plea. ;) I'm certain others feel the same way. I have several stacks of buff food for different builds, so this change is a major annoyance regarding storage space.

It's also better and more interesting than every single one of the DRMs. Would have much preferred more in that style. Well, luckily (for me ;) ) the mission is a different one every day this time. <3
  9. > @"Eloc Freidon.5692" said: > Anet is asking too much of players again when it comes to crafting weapons. The rate of getting this new material is awful and the drop rate of those weapons that have an MP behind it is just the flies on that kitten cake. Yes. I've done the first three DRMs almost daily in CM and have _not_ received a single weapon drop. That's crazy!
  10. 1. Take a deeeeep breath. ;) 2. You need 31 of those achievements to get the Emote (tier 1). The total number of meta achievements is 39 (!). 3. The new DRMs are at least more challenging than the crappy first three. 4. The Top Dragon Responder achievements are not impossible! You only have to do them 5 times each, that's all. 5. I have to agree that there should be a proper solo mode. I have about a dozen active characters and still have not put all of them through Drizzlewood and the first three DRMs. **You know how annoying it is to rely on group content for story progress, ANet?** - _Extremely_ annoying. (Unless you play with only 1 character, that is.)

  12. This is by far the best IMO: Build: http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?Pi1AEx3lVUx2abd1Nm8WZnO0WatdA-zRZYBR9IGMcYlTURQbhQfFQhJQEBaFBlaXkw4vlIOjA-e

Well, yes, that is what you are saying but that could never be true No, that's not what I was saying. I was saying that, once you have mastered a profession (or build), it becomes easi(er) for you to play. Practice makes perfect.
  15. > @"Dawdler.8521" said: > Oh you mean you want a tag system that works exactly like the commander tag works? > > We already have that. It's called the commander tag. Just sayin'.

Original CPU is being warranty returned to AMD. Perhaps you could post the CPU model? If others are experiencing the same issue, it could be because they are using the same CPU, which could be a faulty production series.
  19. I simply _loathe_ the oversized weapon skins. They look dumb and childish, like out of a bad comic book or like one is trying to compensate for something.
  20. > @"Raknar.4735" said: > „Eventually, all Dwarves undertook the Rite of the Great Dwarf.“ > [https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dwarf](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dwarf) Yes, but that is inaccurate. We saw non-transformed Stone Summit in "Forging Steel". > So, unless there‘s a dwarf group that is completely isolated from the rest, similiar to the Olmakhan, there are no flesh dwarves left. 1. See Stone Summit in "Forging Steel". 2. There could be isolated Dwarves, that's what I have been saying all the time. The devs simply have to choose so.
  21. > @"Astralporing.1957" said: > > @"Ashantara.8731" said: > > I am still having a hard time believing that _all_ of Tyria's dwarven population got transformed. > Why? According to the lore, they were _all_, regardless of faction, connected to The Great Dwarf, and it was this connection that was the basis for the transformation ritual. Basically, due to this, no dwarf was able to avoid being subject to the ritual Hmm, well, I only know the lore from the game itself, and in GW1 it was depicted in a way that showed only the Deldrimor Dwarves coming together for the ritual. I don't recall any dwarves from distant regions being part of it (or at least shown to be part of it) - or perhaps I just forgot about that vital detail? So if this is the official lore version (as explained in novels, interviews or other outside sources), then of course you are right that there is no chance to find a non-transformed dwarf anywhere in Tyria. However... you forgot about the Stone Summit Dwarves. They were not transformed. That's why I assume that there must be more dwarven groups that weren't affected. P.S. The GW1 Wiki even states that you have to _undertake_ the Rite in order to transform. You are not being transformed automatically just because you are a dwarf: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dwarf

As a rather new player. 2 or 3 years? I was done with PoF on all of my characters within less than a year. I'm expecting the upcoming expansion to be an excellent piece of work after the drought that is the Icebrood Saga finale.
