Yes, you can buy them off the Trading Post.

  2. They currently cost 3 tickets, not 1600 of anything. When a Black Lion weapon skin set is first introduced, it is (as far as I can recall) always 1 ticket per weapon. After some time, a new set will become the new set, pushing the old sets either to a more expensive price or into temporary retirement. The Glacial weapons were new when that video came out; they're not new now. So, that's why they cost 3 tickets.

As has been said already, EU players can participate in the code giveaway for the outfit and Heroic edition. The only part they (and anyone else not living near a Kung Fu Tea location) cannot take part in is the sweepstakes for the deluxe editions of PoF/HoT.

I'm pretty sure "the hackers" are simply the vast number of GW2 players (and some gold sellers) jamming an app not made to handle that many users for the past few days.

That doesn't say they've disabled anything, though. It just acknowledges that there are major issues and that they'll make sure people still get their codes.

Are you sure you're checking the right chest? It can be easy to get confused with certain ones because there will sometimes be more than one chest in that general location (like in OP's case, where the chest being opened wasn't the correct chest).

Yes, putting the code on a free account turns it into a full base account.

    > After each failure, did you have to go to Facebook and de-authorize 'Social Rewards' before trying again? Or, did you just leave that there and keep trying to connect in the app itself? At one point when trying to connect to the app did it seem to work? Does that radio button show 'on' for you now?

I "de-authorized" it twice but then gave up on that. So, my next 10 or so attempts were just repeat spam attempts, without going into Facebook to remove the permissions from the last attempt. On my unsuccessful attempts, the radio button would show On until I left the Connect Social Media Accounts tab; once I left that tab and came back, the button would show Off. After the successful attempt, it now shows my FB profile picture and name at the top of the Connect Social Media Accounts tab, and the Facebook button stays On, even after fully restarting the app.

  9. What Dean said. To further back it up, I also saw this:

"Kung Fu Tea customers who link their Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook accounts through the Kung Fu Tea mobile app can claim unique in-game codes to download a dragon-themed character outfit, in addition to the Guild Wars 2 Heroic Edition. The Heroic Edition is not available at retail and expands upon the Guild Wars 2 game, offering a unique set of armor, an 18-slot inventory box, and 10 experience boosters to jump-start players’ adventures in the world of Tyria.”

  10. If you want a direct response, you'll need to submit a support ticket. If you didn't get the confirmation email after sending in your first ticket, that means that it either went to your spam folder OR that your ticket didn't go through. If you've checked your spam folder and still don't see the email, then you need to submit another ticket.

Which is funny to me because (if it's the one I'm thinking of) the drake capturing portion always seemed way more confusing and time-consuming than the arena.
