I'd imagine it's because they were originally parts of a costume set. There is probably some different kind of coding preventing those from working quite the same way. Maybe that'll be changed sometime in the future.

It's only 10:15am on the East Coast (and only 7:15am on the West Coast). Probably a bit early for any kind of announcement, if there is one coming today.

As was already mentioned above, lighting can make a huge difference in how a dye looks. Another thing to keep in mind is that the chest/shoulders you're using are the Nightmare set, and that set has components that glow. So, any pieces that aren't from that set are always going to look more dull in appearance when compared to the Nightmare pieces.

The spelling here definitely seems to be under the Nahuatl (Aztec) umbrella. But the Mayan language family still exists and is still spoken.

As others have said, it sounds like you might have accidentally tried it on Extreme mode. Next time, make sure no one interacts with the Extreme Mote next to Trahearne.

I, too, would love to be able to organize my minis by "type." I can usually remember the names of the minis I want to use, but sometimes I'm stuck scrolling through my massive list of them hoping to see a thumbnail that looks like the right one.

No. Not a single player will be "penalized" for not buying this. People can look up the boss timers on dulfy/wiki or (like me) just remember the general times specific bosses are up. People who can't easily pull up a timer or who don't know the schedule can ask in map chat. Same goes for pulling up the waypoints for the bosses: either look it up, remember it from past play sessions, or ask in map chat. They could also join a world boss train squad via LFG or just join one for a specific boss. If one is worried about not making it to the boss in time, then all they have to do is get there 5-10 minutes early (which is exactly what the people with the portal device would have to do, as well, with certain bosses).

They also were given out at Anet launch events and at Gamescom and then later used as items for European fan site giveaways.

1. The ship she was on exploded. Huge explosion.

2. The remains of that ship have been in an ocean for several years now, so any remains would be gone by now (and since she was Sylvari, I don't think she had any bones to leave behind).

The lack of a body doesn't mean anything. Now, Anet could totally pull a comic book move and bring her back with some flimsy "Oh, she didn't actually die" reason like you're wanting here, but I like to think that they wouldn't do that and would instead opt for other villains.

I love Meteorlogicus. It's probably my favorite legendary.

Based on the in-game pronunciation of "Tequatl", my brain is saying "Xuiquatl" would be something like [ʃiʍ 'kw: a: tɫ] (she-wuh KWAHtul). Or maybe Anet will make up their own rules even more and say it's meant to be pronounced "Shelly." :p

That particular error code doesn't specifically mean "unacceptable behavior." It only means that the account has been suspended. She'll have to wait until support gets to her ticket to find out the reason for the suspension. Support is still recovering from a huge backlog of tickets, so it could be a week or so before she hears back.

I see a hip cape, which is pretty much a buttcape.

This is only the second legendary scepter. Longbow will come soon enough, since there aren't many Gen 2 legendary weapons left to release .
