I finally saw it spawn about half an hour before daily reset. There was an event to protect the funeral area from a Forged champion. About 10 minutes after that event successfully ended, the NPC yelled out its bit about the funeral procession. But yeah, I saw it pop once out of all the hours I hung around in the area today.

Eh, I wouldn't call that NSFW. I, too, would prefer to have the female version of it for my Asura, though.

I hung around the NPC for 1.5 hours earlier today. I've been hanging around the NPC for about two hours again now, and the event hasn't popped up a single time. Another person has also been waiting most of the afternoon, never having seen it pop up, either. As OP said, either something is broken, or it's just on a ludicrously long timer.

Yeah, they've said they intend to keep with the timing used for the Living World Season 3 released (every 2-3 months) and are already working on Season 4. I imagine they'll start those up in a few months, after giving the game population enough time to go through most of the basic PoF stuff.

I don't think my Human female sounds "catty", either. It sounds like she's just got a job to do and is not going to deal with people being obtuse or getting in her way. The only times she could be seen as being borderline "catty" is when she's playing at being someone else.

I would delete that image and the link. You're sharing your personal information with everyone. As for the email, check your spam folders just in case. If it's not there, contact support.

The tools do work on all normal nodes, including the newly added ones in the PoF zones; if they didn't work, you'd see a ton of posts about this, rather than just one. Either the old bug (the one that causes ruined gathering results if you gather while in combat) has returned, or you're trying to gather a node that requires unlocking an achievement or other prerequisite to use (I'm not sure which, if any, those would be).

Yup. I did this the other day. I hopped my way up to a very precarious location for the vista. I pressed F to view the Vista, and as I'm watching the vista cut scene, I can see my character's body falling down, down, down. Once the cut scene was over, I was dead on the ground. Watching my body just fall down like Wile E. Coyote was the funniest thing I'd seen all day.

I've not experienced any such thing with nodes in the PoF zones, so I don't think it's a case of the tools not being a high enough tier. It seems more likely that this might be a repeat of the old bug that would result in ruined ore/ruined fibers/ruined wood being collected if you tried to harvest anything while in combat. Or it was a special kind of node that requires unlocking a certain achievement.

As much as it stings to do it, I would just not touch the account until you hear back from support. Or, at the very least, don't do anything important (ie. finish crafting a legendary or finish a big, long achievement). I say that because support might have to do a rollback on your account, which would mean that anything you've obtained since your account was compromised will be undone. That being said, your playing the game shouldn't interfere with support being able to see what needs to be seen.

You're welcome. Just make sure you put any of the account bound stuff (the skins, minis you haven't already applied to your account, outfits, etc.) in your bank before deleting, and you should be good to go.

Your level 80 boosts will remain in the shared inventory slots. Skins can just be put in the bank, and the minis can be applied to your account; any future characters will still have access to them.

I enjoyed playing PoF's story so much more than I did HoT's. Great work, Anet.

Hopefully, tonight's patch fixed this issue, since there was a note about the Djinn Mastery challenges being fixed.

There is a POI and Mastery point in Northeastern Vabbi called "Ruins of Mihanu Township". The building at the POI has a several of the Djinn protective barriers inside, causing massive FPS loss and awful visibility. It makes doing that Mastery fight quite difficult, since turning around will often put your camera right at one of the lights in the barriers. Could some of the barriers be removed?

Yeah, loading any waypoint in Elon Riverlands is taking an extremely long time. :(

Only character I can log into is my POF character. Every other one gives me a log-in error when I try to load them.

I found one of the chests in Desert Highlands, near Giant's Steps (just north of Windshear Scarps on the map). And yeah, definitely bring swiftness/movement skills, otherwise she'll get away from you quickly.

Support is often understanding when it comes to things like that. Put in a ticket, and politely ask if you could have the focus cores replaced with the scepter cores. Do keep in mind, though, that support is still a bit backed up, so you could be waiting a while.

I don't think I've ever crafted the wrong thing before, but I have done really dumb things such as accidentally buying 250 lumps of primordium instead of 25.

Yeah, I really don't get what all the fuss is about. It took me quite a few tries to get it done, and I got frustrated sometimes. But it wasn't difficult, especially once I learned his running pattern and where all the items were.

If you haven't gotten the Walk the Land item, try opening the class caches; mine were inside of those.

No rewards from Desert Highlands, either. Edit: Just realized I never patched earlier. So, we'll see what happens when I patch now. Edit again: Yup, got the rewards (cache with gear and Walk the Land token inside).

Yup, ditto. I was doing something in Desert Highlands, and I was DC'd and my game restarted itself. Now I can't log back in.

I also finished a map just now (Crystal Oasis, 11:35ish AM, Central time) and only got the exp for a reward.
