Whatever file is at 76% is just exceptionally large, it seems. So, just be patient. If you notice it get stuck at 0 kb/sec for a particularly long period of time, then just try restarting the patcher.

  2. Your friend should delete/close the second two tickets. Submitting multiple tickets only means your response time will be even longer. Unfortunately, support is still a bit behind due to the large number of tickets coming in related to people buying PoF and such. But, even when support isn't backed up, it can take up to 72 hours to get a response, even for account security issues. So, your friend will just have to be patient. I realize it's not fun having to sit there and wait, but it's the only thing they can do.

Using "they"/"their" in this way isn't a new phenomenon, though. There are examples of it from centuries ago, and even writers such as Jane Austen used it. Rules of grammar have seen their own changes in the past, too.

See about getting a piano keyboard app for her. Both of my kids loved those when they were toddlers, and it helped with their finger dexterity (which will be important for future gaming sessions). ;)

  5. I'd suggest going in-game, and just looking through the dyes in the hero panel. That way you can see how they'd look on your current armor. Some of my favorite "brighter" dyes are the Electro dyes, Celestial, White, and any of the "Ice" dyes ("blue ice" is one of them, I believe).

Especially in the context of emotes (you would NEVER use a proper noun, like a name, with a plural pronoun). The only time it is "Acceptable" (and I would argue it's still wrong) is when a gender-neutral pronoun is already in use and the possessive pronoun it is referring to is too awkward to use "his or her" ...

OP specifically referred to its use as "bad", hence my use of quotation marks around it in my post. But you're right. I misspoke when I said that the use of "their" in this case is grammatically correct. What I meant to say (and would have said if I'd actually bothered to drink my coffee before posting) is that it's commonly accepted and used. It was even commonly used some centuries ago. Regardless of that, though, I'd argue that (as far as the code used for the emotes is concerned) the proper noun is gender-neutral, and it would be very awkward to use "his or her" in the emote. "RoseofGilead crosses their arms" vs "RoseofGilead crosses his or her arms". I'd still prefer to have the emotes and more of the other other in-game text pick up whether the character is male or female, though.
