  1. Ascended and Legendary share the same stat levels, and those are the highest qualities of gear in the game. There aren't any plans to make a higher quality, as far as I know. And no, you can't just buy one part of the expansion content, with gems or without; if you want Reaper, you'll have to buy HoT. The good news is that you can get HoT at a discount if you bundle it with PoF (if you intend to get either one).

  2. You have to lead bees over to the beehive area to make them build it. You do that by running into the big red rings/circles you see on the ground; once you're in, wait a moment, and then run out towards the beehive. Stand there for another moment to make sure the bees add more to the hive (if you click on the hive, you'll see a health bar on it, I believe). Then just repeat until it's built.

  3. 1. Yes, you have to own HoT to play Reaper or any of the other HoT elite specializations.

    2. Reaper Necro is awesome and way better than vanilla Necro, in my opinion. But different people feel differently about different things.

    3. Under-powered from the lack of HoT Masteries? No. But you will have a bit of a handicap if you try to do any content that is made easier with gliding, bouncing mushrooms, or adrenal mushrooms.

    4. If you enjoy story, then picking up Season 3 might be a fun thing for you. However, if you didn't play HoT, you'll be skipping a decent chunk of what happens between Season 2 and Season 3. The rewards for Season 3 are alright, and the maps added with each Season 3 episode provide cheaper ways to get ascended back items and trinkets. Edit: You actually have to have HoT to play Season 3.

    5. If you want to be geared in Ascended or Legendary gear, then yes, you'll need to grind out mats or map-specific currencies for what you want. If you're content with starting in Exotics and eventually working up to Ascended/Legendary, then getting that (the Exotics) won't be much of a grind at all.

  4. Try this one.

But, just for a quick overview:

Human: the Melbourne Shuffle-style dance from LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem"

Norn: The Carlton (Carlton from Fresh Prince dancing to Tom Jones)

    Sylvari: A Bhangra (Punjabi dance)

    Asura: Popping/the Robot

    Charr: Haka (traditional Maori dances)

  5. Choosing to Replay the episode makes it so you can go to any instance of the story. Your story tracker will start from the beginning, but you don't have to do the whole thing in order again. You just need to look for the little pink star/swirl on the mini map for the particular instance you're wanting to do, which in this case would be the one at the entrance to Bitterfrost Frontier. Go there, and walk up to the pink swirly thingy to start that chapter.

  6. To be fair, your first "outfit" example were Town Clothes items that couldn't have been worn in combat. Town clothes were a different system than what they use for outfits. That being said, I'd love to have town clothes at outfits, even if we couldn't split the individual pieces up. I really dislike the town clothes as tonics. :(

    > The cultural armors ... that's something I think support can help you with, at least some of them, because there's an achievement associated with unlocking them. You'd have to check to see what you can "prove" and probably negotiate. My best is that they'd be able to unlock some for you, maybe all (depending).

I'm fairly certain I contacted support about getting cultural armor skins applied to the wardrobe after the change, and I was told that they couldn't/wouldn't do it, even though I had part of the achievements done. I remember seeing other people posting to the forums saying similar things, I think.
