just wondering if anyone knows the reasoning of combat boosters not being usable/stripped away in strike missions

Combat boosters are only allowed in open world pve not in instanced or competetive content.

Because strike missions use the same rule set as raids. Combat boosters are not usable in PvP, WvW and raids because they are "competitive" content.

They are very easy to beat though so it's not a big deal there.

 

I've got tons of these boosters myself, stored them up over the years but I never use them unless im farming exp for mastery's or something.

That's how I know they work in DRMs. I've got far too many boosters of all types because I kept saving them for the 'right time' and now I'm trying to use some of them up and break that habit. You don't need them, but if I keep saving them until I'm sure I'll need them I'll never use them.

Probably something to do with spaghetti. Some foods also can't be eaten in strikes.
