Randulf.7614
Is anyone noticing it feels different this year. It might well be a years lack of practice, but the snowflakes are disappearing quicker it seems and often before anyone reaches them edit: yes 3 paths of difficulty. Thank you to those who answered
Shirlias.8104
I guess you just need to adapt to it ;) Time will tell! edit: oh god yes  which is the harder path?
RoseofGilead.8907
From the patch notes: "The Winter Wonderland jumping puzzle has been updated: Each of its three routes now presents jumpers with a different difficulty, ranging from the sedate and scenic Quaggan Route to the fast-paced Gingerbread Route. Adventurers will face colder temperatures and less-stable platforms on the harder routes, but they will find greater rewards waiting for them at the end of the climb!" MetalGirl.2370
Yes it was in patch notes, it's changed to easy, medium and hard difficulty.. quaggans being the easiest one where snowflakes don't disappear.

Randulf.7614
Bet I chose the hard one then lol Makes sense, cheers for the answer. I did the read the patch notes, but my eyes can't focus well on reading on screen text so I missed it when scanning it
RupertAndi.6208
I really like the idea of having three different paths with different difficulty. I think it is a nice addition for people who are not very good at jumping puzzles.
Ok I Did It.2854
I just ran all 3 paths, and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between either of them, other than maybe length until the first safe platform. You can tell which path you are running via the new icon you get above skill 6. Quaggan Route - Easy Snowman Route - Medium Gingerbread Route - Hard

Ayrilana.1396
But are the rewards worth it?
Danikat.8537
I like it. :) I've done this jumping puzzle so many times that I could complete it without trouble most of the time, but I appreciate the option to pick an easier path if I'm tired or distracted or otherwise don't feel entirely up to the challenge. And then I can go for the harder ones when I want to focus on it.

I think it is 5, 10 and 15 gifts. At least, I got 15 for the one at the far left which I'm pretty sure was the hard one

I think the gingerbread man path is actually harder than in previous years. Your health goes down noticeably faster and the platforms decay quicker. So for people who always picked that one they've actually made it harder.

Kal Spiro.9745
I adore that my specialty path, the one I've done exclusively for all these years is the hard path. I can almost do it with my eyes closed, so I look forward to all the extra returns, whatever those might be...

Cirrion.8951
I just hope that Gingerbread isn't much harder than it was. That route has been hardcoded into my muscle memory now; I don't want to have to learn a new route. Still, this is a good change. Hopefully we see something similar for Mad Kings Clocktower next year.

It's not clocktower level harder, but you will need to be quicker and survive a little bad luck
notebene.3190
How easy is the Quaggan? Is it still time gated, or can you take your time? Does it count as 'completing the puzzle' for achievement purposes, like Winter's Presence collection?
