Swagger.1459
Asuras or Asurans? Edit based off of comments- So what would we use for this sentence?... A group of (Asura or Asuras or Asurans) stole my lunch money?
Ayumi Spender.1082
Asura for race. Asuran for their things (Asuran dish, Asuran technology). That's how I've been saying it.
Witch of Doom.5739
I thought for the race, Asura was both singular and plural.
RoseofGilead.8907
Asura for singular and plural, when referring to members of said race.
Blood Red Arachnid.2493
It's Asuri. Kind of like octopus and octopi. Asuri are, taxonomically, gigantic walking mollusks, so they follow the same naming conventions.

Can't say I've ever seen someone call Asura "mollusks" before. Congrats on being the first for me. Plus, isn't the technically correct plural of "octopus" actually "octopodes"? Mea.5491
Asura. Just like Sylvari, Norn and Charr are all singular and plural at the same time.
Manasa Devi.7958
Let me tell you how to count asura: 1 asura, 2 asura, too many asura.

And the original Greek term for one octopus means "eight feet/foot". Seems appropriate.

Per game and Taimi: Asura. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Buried_Insight : Tizlak was right. The city appears long dead. I guess we won't find any allies to rally for our cause. Taimi: Such a pity. All those asura. For stuff created by asura : asuran. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Way_In : I’m looking for Rata Novus. Ever heard of it? Tizlak: Rata… Hmm… : That doesn’t sound promising. Westenev.5289
The plural for Asura is Asura. If it's posessive, then it's Asuran. Would be rather irionic if Asura didn't follow grammar convention, no? :p

Cragga the Eighty Third.60
In truly proper Asuran grammar, "A collective of Asura pilfered the currency intended for my midday comestibles."

Zedek.8932
Asura indeed. Some Sylvari had ambient chatter after a Inquest attack and they were like "Asura?" - "No, the Inquest. Evil Asura". Not "Asuras" or such stuff. Excelsior.
Kal Spiro.9745
Asura is the plural of Asura
Klowdy.3126
It could be like deer, the same word for singular or plural. Asuran seems more like people that live in asura, and asurans just doesn't seem right.
Lord Kreegan.8123
[For the idiot white knights out there who have no sense of humor or perspective, this is all tongue-in-cheek.] One Asura; two Asurae... Multiple groups of Asurae: Asuraeae. Multiple groups of Asuraeae: noisy mob. A group of male Asurae: Asuraeine. A group of female Asurae: Asuraefem. A group of Asuraefem ovulating (happens only once per decade; their cycle is different than humans or the world would be crawling with Asurae): BeechyAsuraefem. A group of tall Asurae: nonexistent, so no proper noun. A group of attractive Asurae: also nonexistent, so no proper noun. A group of Asurae confronted by a group of Charr: lunch.
