This allowed them to produce a greater range of styles because it didn't have to work as separate pieces and apparently to do it faster, but it meant we lost the ability to customise them. I don't understand why it isn't possible to compromise by having pieces hide ones they conflict with. For example in my screenshot of my character in town clothes she's actually wearing the human female cultural skirt, but because the pirate top and trousers are one piece it's hidden:  But I assume there is a reason they didn't go down that route, probably something to do with the time saved by making one-piece outfits. They were turned into tonics, not outfits. ;) 2. The tonics-turned-into-outfits we now have are a disaster regarding the dye channels. :angry: 3. Less customization is _always_ a _bad_ choice, so I still stand by my disbelief about the fact that they reduced customization options like that. (double-:angry: ) With the existing town clothes it was a bit of both. Some became tonics, others (like the pirate and chef costumes) became outfits. But mainly I meant new ones created after the Wardrobe was introduced. A lot of things which would have been town clothes were instead released as outfits. But I think they were lost when my old hard drive chewed itself up. I'm not sure how I have that one from the betas but I've got that, 1 from the launch weekend and then it's all stuff from early 2013 onwards. You could sit on the edge of it and it would clip you inside and slightly down, it looked funny how casual my thief was just chilling there! It's a shot of my very first character that I created at the beginning of Head Start. She's wearing: * the Sport Sunglasses * the "Common Clothing Outfit" town clothes. There was a flame-throwing engi macro-ing his skill nearby when I managed to capture this poignant moment.  My mesmer lamented the loss of refugees after a failed attempt to subdue the Molten Duo bosses during the Battle in Lion's Arch.  The makings of my first cosplay character: Rita Vrataski, in the backdrop of ruined Lion's Arch    During the Golden Age of Dungeons, a few friends and I were watching another attempting to solo Lupicus and the rare moment he got kicked in the face.  First time into Fashion Wars. This is the screenshot of my ex and I. My first three submissions feature my much missed TOWN CLOTHES. I enjoyed all the mix 'n' match, plus having dye channels for each individual piece. "Game Day" - My Asura sporting his basic Town Clothes PLUS his _non_-town clothes HAT! (Many folks have asked to be able to do this again).  "The Farmer's Daughter" - The cook's top combined with the basic skirt. Viola! Ellie Mae!  "Magical Grove" - This is just the opposite of the previous picture... this is the basic top with the cook's skirt.  "Beach Resort" - Another thing I miss greatly is the IDLE-TIME EMOTES that were removed. Here I've captured part of the "stretch" emote that for no fathomable reason seems to have been controversial. This picture is DOUBLY rare... Southsun Lord Faren and Southsun Kasmeer can be seen on the beach in the background!  "Shadow Boxing" - They've slowly wrecked my BOXING GLOVES. They used to have 1960's Batman-like text appear in the air! Now they're forcing me to wear a weird outfit concocted from old town clothes pieces. No ability to dye them. At least they removed the sunglasses. (Do they even sell the Boxing Gloves any more?)  "Holographic Dragon Attacks" - DRAGON BASH! (And old Lion's Arch!)  "Lion's End" - Speaking of old LA... Still I had a pretty good fight against a spellbreaker and guardian (no elite spec, just core) against my Rev and I killed them both. I took a while but I used skills at the right moment. More importantly you captured the person who _stole_ the name Kvothe Kingkiller before I thought of using it! (By the time I had that idea literally every variation I could think of was taken or too long.) I wonder what profession they picked. Carina Smash!  **Backing up the brave Ranger and his pet, standing ground against the advancing nightmare.** It's the piercing screech that bothers Ayo the most, since it takes two fingers to plug both ears. And she needs both hands for her hammer. She considered maybe just one-handing the hammer and plugging one ear, but, like, whats the point if you can still hear half the deafening noise? Anyway... Carina Smash!  **Chaaaaaaaaaargge....you've got laser bolts?!!!** /gasp You killed Kenyeth! You ^&%$&!!! I swear, my word is my storm, _while this build is still viable..._ Carina Smash!  Finally, one of my faves...Lions Arch all decked out for Wintersday 2013. This was the start of Ayo's journey, when she moved to, and fell in love with her adopted city.
